Easy to order, arrived on time and great quality product.

A lovely lady helped me called Sylvia. She helped me make my selections by explaining the options. I was able to take my time picking the fabric and colour. Felt really comfortable and not pressurised. Able to schedule a convenient delivery period. Just can’t wait for the sofa to arrive more.

Absolutely horrible experience with this company. After repeated mistakes with the delivery dates and days of phone calls, texts and emails, my armchair finally arrived without the bolts needed to attach the legs.

While trying to move the unusable chair out of the way, I cut my hand on the exposed fittings. I then waited another ten days for the missing bolts only for Cotswold Company to send six copies of the small screws that were already attached to the legs. They sent completely the wrong parts.

I now have an unusable armchair lying in the middle of my living room and will apparently have to wait all over again. This has completely ruined the purchase for me. The entire experience has been stressful, frustrating and absolutely ridiculous. I will never buy from this company again.

The guy who delivered the furniture were very polite, made sure everything was unpacked and assembled properly. They even dealt with an issue I had with another item we had purchased. Would recommend the service to friends and family

I am extremely disappointed with The Cotswold Company and the way they have handled the problem with my Inglesham Whitewash Oak 6 Seater Trestle Dining Table.

Cotswold arranged for a third-party technician to inspect the table. During the visit, I was told that the issue was a manufacturing fault and related to moisture. Naturally, I expected Cotswold to stand behind the quality of their product and put the problem right.

Instead, Cotswold has now conveniently decided that the damage is “wear and tear” and therefore outside their manufacturing warranty. Their solution? Send me a link to their furniture care guides and effectively wash their hands of the problem.

What is the point of sending a technician to inspect a product if what the customer is told during that inspection is then apparently disregarded?

I find the whole experience incredibly frustrating. I bought from Cotswold because I expected a quality product backed by a reputable company. When something has gone wrong, however, the after-sales support has been dismissive and completely inadequate.

I have asked for a proper resolution. I also want to see the full technician’s report and a clear explanation of how an issue described to me as a manufacturing/moisture-related fault has somehow become ordinary “wear and tear.”

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential customers to think carefully before spending their money here. A warranty and premium customer service mean very little if, when a problem actually occurs, responsibility is simply rejected.

We had a fantastic experience at The Cotswold Company in Harrogate, thanks in large part to Liam. He was incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, and a great salesman without being at all pushy.
Liam really took the time to understand what we were looking for, offered helpful advice and went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. His relaxed, professional approach made the whole experience enjoyable and completely stress-free.

The delivery drivers, Ryan and Chris, were courteous and friendly, handled the assembly of the bookcase carefully, and cleared up afterwards – leaving no mess or cardboard. They also made sure that any questions were answered and told me who to contact if I had any issues. The whole experience was a pleasure, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Delivery service is excellent. Fast, informed of a 3 hour slot the night before and great staff delivering. Worth every Penny!

Good quality furniture and sofas. Delivery men arrived in time slot advised and have been very helpful in moving furniture to put in the items purchased and taking away any packaging with them.

The delivery drivers were first rate. They unpacked everything and took all the packaging away. They also assembled the top and bottom sections of the dresser, attached the wooden handles, and unpacked and readjusted the shelves for me. Absolutely first class. I absolutely love the dresser. The soft colour of the wood and the Classic Cream colour compliment each other so well. Delighted with my purchase and with the service both in the shop when ordering and with the delivery.

Jermaine and Said delivered our furniture and did a great job. They were on time, courteous and very efficient. They put the furniture where we wanted it and took all the packaging away. So impressed

I recently purchased a kitchen larder unit from The Cotswold Company, and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

The delivery arrived on the date expected. It was quite late in the evening — around 9pm — but we had been given plenty of notice of the delivery time, so this wasn't a problem.

The two delivery men were excellent. The larder unit was extremely heavy, but they brought it into the room where we wanted it, carefully unpacked it, assembled the two sections together and made sure we were completely happy with everything before leaving. They also took away all of the packaging, which was a real bonus and made the whole experience completely hassle-free.

As for the furniture itself, the quality is exceptionally good. The larder is extremely sturdy, well made and feels like something that is going to last for many years. It certainly isn't a cheap, flat-pack, build-it-yourself piece of furniture — and you do pay more for that level of quality.

However, in this case, you really do get what you pay for, and I genuinely feel that the money was very well spent.

From ordering and delivery through to the quality of the finished product, I have been extremely pleased with Cotswold Furniture Company and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for high-quality, well-made furniture.
