Order is 5 weeks late and still has not arrived.

Hello,

I placed an order with Magical Ears on the 18th of November. A company in the States that use your shipping company. My estimated delivery for my products was the 1st December. I have still not received my products. I received an email from Magical Ears to say that my order had been shipped to your shipping company on the 7th of December. When I use my order number to track my products on your online tracking number it flashes up system error. Here is my tracking number: S4436-119Y81C75M22L709. There was no delay of full payment taken from my account at the time of booking.

Could you please understand my frustration and update me on the where abouts of my order.

First, we apologize for the confusion you must feel with the order; in the future we recommend that you contact our customer service division early in the ordering process for the fastest service and quickest answers. Our service manager could not locate any calls or tickets associated with your email address and/or phone number.

We researched your order and there was a merchant issue that caused the full cancellation of your order on 12/26/2014, we refunded you fully and depending on the financial institution the funds were credited to your account 3-5 business days after the refund date.

We sent an email with the status of the cancelled order. If you did not receive the email, please check the "junk" folders and if it's not there feel free to give our customer service team a call we can send the issue to our IT group.

Very late delivery, missing items and very hard to contact them

I made an order on the november 30. and paid a high shipping cost to be able to recieve my items on the december 9.
On the december 10. I had not recieved my package so I contacted Overstock.com. They told me on the 11. that the package was on it's way and ETA was december 16.....

Today, the december 16. I got my package (the order was in 2 packages) and there was missing 6 items in the order.

There was no invoice in the packages and I saw that the package was sent from the US on the december 10.

Overstock does not find my order number in there system so they can't help me. I tried contacting the company that had the website I bought the items of and they did not answer me and just told me to contact Bongo international since I was an international customer.

Then I tried contacting Bongo and that has taken all day and this is a last resort, writing this review since I see they have answered here.

I tried calling them and the answering machine said that my call was very important to them and that I should call between 9am and 9pm (that is now) and try again later...... this is the number that you see here on this page and they have written in the replies.

I have tried E-mailing them on the e-mail you see on this page and just got an automatic responce and that there is no chance to contact them through this e-mail.....

I have had business with a lot of wholesales all over the world and this is the only time I have had this kind of trouble and so hard to contact a company. I am very dissapointed with this service and hope they will contact me after seeing this review.... If I could have contacted them directly I would never written this review since I never do, but this bad service drove me to this.

Bongo please contact me ASAP!!

they took my money even if the order was never send by the merchant

I placed an order on saturday november 22nd however I still haven't received any news about it;
I understand that they are busy but I think that 2 weeks is a very long time to process this.
They already took the money from my account (on november 24th) without checking if the order was send by the merchant!!!
I contacted the merchant who said to contact Bongo.
I am very annoyed and angry. It's unacceptable to took the money without checking if the items were send.

worst delivery system

I ordered a watch from Overstock I needed the watch to bring with me on vacation since it was a gift for a friend that I was meeting there .I paid extra to have a rush delivery I made my order on November 24th for delivery December 2nd .I received my confirmation from overstock minutes after the purchase. One day later I received a notice: Bongo Checkout Credit Card Verification. I tried the web site but it was not working fearing a scam I call bongo directly. After waiting 45 minutes I spoke to an agent who had no clue what she was doing or where she was. The agent told me that there system was down that I should call again I told that I am at work and that I made the order rush because I needed rush she should be able to process at her end .After speaking to a colleague, she came back saying that she will process it manually. I gave the required info (money the took from my credit card) .After some other problems in her system she put me on hold back and forth for more than 20 minutes .after all that she finally came back to me saying: it’s ok I will take care of it .I confirm 3 times with her since I absolutely needed the watch …she check with her colleagues again who told her that it was fine.

Guess what on December 1st one day before the package was due in Montreal I received an e-mail saying that my purchase was cancelled .I call Bongo waited again. Bongo without telling me only transfer me to Overstock who tried to work things out but I will not get the watch on time. The worst part is that Bongo for their verification they debited my account 1.33$ they did not cancel that charge …where all that money goes who gave Bongo authorization to take money from me .When Pay pal wants to do verification the actually deposit money to your account.Imagine the amount Bongo makes their "verification"charges

Skeptical at first but came out fine at the end...

Order online from a company in Belguim that only used Bongo to ship oversea. After reviewing from this website, was really skeptical to ship thru Bongo. It took me 3 weeks to decide to do it knowing the risks involved. Even at Bongo website, it doesn't really explain why are there different addresses which I kind of figure out later that each address is the closest receiving warehouse in which where the goods are sent from and why it would default to that particular address when adding it to the shipping address from the merchant website. Also - even if it's shipped, it takes a little bit time on how to ship it from the warehouse being that it wasn't explained clearly at the beginning. It's a little bit of a confusing website. Also, when I tried to pay for the shipment, I couldn't get it done right away as I was being told when calling that they were updating the website in the middle of the day. 2nd time I called when once again couldn't make the payment the next day, no one even picked up the phone and I waited 30 min and just hung up. Eventually the shipping payment went through. If you take the time to understand how to maneuver the website, it's not hard to use and shipping charges seemed reasonable. However, be prepared to have a lot of patience and the goods will come...

Zero star company - mendacious and criminal operation

I have used Bongo numerous times since 2012 to ship goods from the US to Australia and although their rates were exorbitantly high (owing to bad calculation of volumetric weight; a scam in itself), I never had a major problem until recently.
Numerous items from different vendors were sent to Bongo during June/July of this year (2014) and I had planned to ship them all at once.
Unfortunately, the credit card attached to the account was no longer valid at the time of shipping and I contacted "customer service" so that I could add a new card and use it to pay for the shipping of stored items.
Unfortunately, in the time taken to respond and verify my new card, two items from the stock went missing. Admittedly not expensive items (total of around $100) but Bongo said "Unfortunately, our operations team has confirmed that the items missing from your Inventory at Bongo that were delivered via USPS tracking number
9405903699300195335137 were purged and are no longer in our warehouse".

Purged? So they were simply thrown out? What use is a shipping company that has such poor customer service (it is not even possible to reply to their e-mail messages) and then throws your goods out with no explanation. I now learn that Bongo has been reselling "purged" items to other customers.

This is thievery of the lowest order; common street mugging.

There is no reason to use Bongo; their web interface is awful, customer service are sub-human and their $15USD/month charges are insidious and unnecessary. That is before you even send goods to them and they are sold (sorry, purged) to other customers.

First, we would like to apologize for the customer service issues you experienced in regards to your order, we take customer feedback seriously and we use feedback such as yours to make changes in policy and procedure. We have completed our investigation of your experience.

Unfortunately your disposed items came in an order separate from the order that shipped out, due to the way the items were shipped to us. Those particular items were disposed because they exceeded our storage policy. This is outlined in #8 in our terms and conditions when you agree to become a bongo member: https://bongous.com/legal/

This is a policy put in place due to space constraints within our warehouses, and unfortunately cannot be bypassed in any way. I also confirmed that we sent several email courtesy reminders to asking you to ship out your items and even offered a 10% discount as the time approached the items being removed and disposed.

If there was an issue with receipt of those emails, it may be due to the emails being put into a "junk" folder by your email server. If you decide to conduct business with Bongo International, we will happily note your account to give you a discount on your next shipment.

they caused me so much stress wasting money abd time

They are poor. They cannot hire enough workers to be able to reply on the phone to the client like all other Companies in the Planet. From the reply - it is obvious - disgusting voice will be telling you continuously – “we appreciate your business – wait for the next available representative” And this is hours … You cannot work you don’t have workers, you do not have money to pay them – close your cheating Company. And this is in the country like USA ???
I have spent hundreds of dollars waiting for the reply – I am calling from South Sudan – my work place. I have Never seen anything like this.
Secondly – phone number provided – is fake. NY outlet is calling the number – not reachable or no reply !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Why you gave this number to me if it is NOT VALID ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
What kind of game is this ???
Do not do mistake like me !!!!!!!!!! Avoid? avoid and million times avoid them !!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent

We have used Bongo for over a year now and have found them to be excellent
We buy a lot of clothes from US sites and have found the website and service to be wonderful
Clothes arrive well packed and you can track them
It costs about Aud 10 to ship each item but when a coat is 320 aud on a website and 55 on a us site
The savings are obvious
My son in law has shipped photography equipment and it has been well packed
I have no hesitation in recommending bongo and give them 5 stars

Unbelievably poor service

I bought items online and payment was taken. 4 days later I was asked to verify a small charge on my card account. Patiently I waited until 60p was deducted. I duly logged on and tried to enter 60p. "Number not recognised". After 4 further attempts I was told I would be contacted again in 2-3 days. This service is appalling. There is no-one to talk to and I am absolutely livid.

First Class Service, Impressive Communication, can't fault them.

Having seen all the negative reviews, I felt compelled to write. I used Bongo International last week, my first order arrived at their Florida address last Friday, withn 4-days it was on my doorstep in the UK. I was sent an email within the hour it reached their depot, I was sent photo's of my products, I was sent a further e-mail the same day to say they had dispatched it and I was able to track it all the way from Florida to the UK, I cannot fault them. I felt the price was reasonable for the distance my parcel had to travel and their website was easy to follow. I would recommend Bongo International to any-one.

He usado los servicios de esta empresa en tres ocasiones, y en todas ellas he tenido problemas.

Básicamente su sistema de comunicación es inútil. Es como un diálogo de sordos. No puedes replicar, ya que envían los emails desde una dirección que no admite respuesta. Por teléfono, simplemente no existen.

Si buscas ahorrarte un euro, consolidando tus envíos (tal y como ellos mismos argumentan en la web) olvídate. Para evaluar el precio del transporte ellos tratan de enviarte la mercancía en las mismas cajas en las que la recibieron, por lo que el transporte (por volumen) es siempre carísimo.

En todo caso, sus precios de transporte son caros por si mismos. Debes pensar que cualquier cosa que compres, entre transporte, aranceles, impuestos, etc. quedará duplicada en precio al pasar por Bongo. Todo un desastre...

Por mucho que te empeñes en facilitarles códigos de envío, de pedido, descripción del material, etc. los trabajadores colocan sus propias descripciones y su propia valoración; que luego se usa para pagar impuestos... Valoración que siempre está muy por encima del valor real de mercado; cuando quieres modificarlo, sólo se admite un 30% por debajo del valor que ellos creen que debe tener tu mercancía. Puedes quejarte, y te solicitan una factura original, pero eso sólo lo puedes hacer una vez!!! Ellos no están allí para meter tus datos!

Para colmo de males, y esto no sé si es culpa de Bongo, eso de que tienes tus compras en 4 días en tu casa, nada de nada, debes esperar dos semanas como mínimo.

En fin, esta compañía está en un nicho de mercado muy interesante, pero su forma de operar dista mucho de ser óptima, no se lo recomendaría a nadie.

Warning: Only use them to ship a single box

Firstly, I have tried all the terrible alternatives out there: myus.com, viabox.com and now tried bongous.com to ship goods to South Africa.

The Bad:
Bongous has one major flaw. They charge you the cost of forwarding the ORIGINAL BOX's dimensional weight(s). Read that sentence again...
So if you split up your order from different vendors, and decide to consolidate the shipment using the Bongous "ship-all" function, your cost to ship will NOT be the dimensional weight of the final consolidated box. The cost will actually be based on the original incoming boxes dimensional weights.
For example: 7 items arrive in 1 box (12 lbs dimensional weight) and 1 small item is shipped separately in its own box (4 lbs dimensional weight). They are consolidated to fit into a box that is still the original 12lbs dimensional weight box for all 8 items. BUT... you will still be charged 12lbs + 4lbs = 16lbs??? Where you would expect to only pay for the 12lbs weight. Crazy.

The other weird charge was a "fuel-surcharge" which is a strange hidden cost included on the invoice with no clear explanation.

The Good:
The website works okay and the fact that they answer their phones is a major improvement compared to other companies!
They provide free photos of the items received, even if the photos are tiny.
Also seem to offer a varied bunch of locations to ship to, but not sure how well this would work, considering the consolidation fees.

Conclusion:
If you need a reliable service to ship only 1 box, it is worth a look.

We do however have competitive rates through our shipping partner Federal Express, and compared to direct shipments with the same dimensional weight from smaller merchants, the rates are below average. Though we do use feedback such as your to continue to strive to meet the needs of our customers, including shipping rates.

SCAM - Absolute Worst Service EVER

First of all, it's almost impossible to contact these people from overseas. When I have a problem, they told me it was MY fault, even though they lost my merchandise - I clearly documented that the items had arrived at their warehouse and they failed to place the items in my shipment. When I made a "claim" for missing items, they told me they only hold items for a certain amount of time and then they throw them out. They did not reimburse me or help me to get new items. I will never use this service again, and there's no way of posting an unsatisfied comment on their website. Very unprofessional service...

DISGUSTING!

Please please please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I ordered a pair of shoes through Badgley Mishka... They use bongo international for their international shipping. I paid for the shoes, and bongo international add on the shipping fee - which came in at over $100.00 (my total was therefore over $350.00)
I felt this shipping fee was far too much as I've made international purchases before through other USA based companies, yet, I can't get these shoes in Australia, so I let it slide, & accepted that I'd have to pay a bit more in order to get my shoes!
Bongo international have taken my money and cancelled my order (sending me an email saying that I cancelled the order- this was definitely not the case)... I have disputed this yet they won't respond to my many emails requesting an explanation!
They told me that they've refunded my money - again, they have not refunded me and the money they've claim to have refunded is actually less than I paid for the product - with no freight charges included in the alleged refund!!
I have contacted this disgraceful company and when they initially responded via email, the emails are ones which I can't reply to, so I have to go through the painful procedure of going through their website to get answers. I have contacted the shoe company and they really aren't much help either!
It's just disgraceful!
DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR! Don't use this company. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!

We have sent this to our customer service manager for immediate research and we have determined that the root of the issue was the way the refunding worked. There seemed to be a lack of appropriate communication, which we have coached the CS team on. With the refunds, you were refunded first the shipping and then we reimbursed you for the product.

This TrustPilot note was created on July 10th, and we see that the second refund to make the whole of the order was completed on July 16th.

Our customer service manager has asked us to convey that if you decide to use our services we will offer a discount on your shipping. Please mention this feedback if you want to take advantage of our offer.

Great fast service , but way to high price .

I used Bongo because the retailer in Us didnt ship to the Eu (due to Mercury marine motor company policy ) 4 stars given is because their service was amazing , when they received my items from retailer , they send me photos of each item and tracking information by shipping. I usually pay tax duties every time i receive parcels from Us , this time not because of the way my parcel was shipped (Dhl via Germany) so this way avoided the tax which had been around 50 Dollar , only reason for not giving 5 stars is because of the shipping price which was higher than the price of the items (shipping costs around 92 Dollars) , more options given by choice of shipping methode could be nice . Must also be mentioned that i was forced to by items in Us because my motor is rather old and spareparts is not to be found in Europe . Super shipping time only few days from shipping from Us , was my parcel handed to me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Also to be mentioned , that the items was well packed 👍

AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE

I ordered $300.00 worth of items from a US website to be forwarded onto Melbourne, Australia via Bongo Intl. I did receive an email once the items had arrived at the mail forwarding address in Bridgeport, CT, after that NOTHING.

I sent repeated emails to this Company, I worked out the time difference so I could phone them during business hours in the US. Never ever was the phone answered and I tried several different numbers. I never ever received a response to any of my emails, I sent a letter in the post to Alexander Noble, the name give as the man being in charge of Customer Relations, I never received a reply.

I was furious and I have several friends living in the US who were aware of what had transpired and they even tried to get in contact with someone, anyone from Bongo Int., again NOTHING.

I was furious, angry and wasted $300.00 and am extremely disappointed.

A complete scam, it makes me furious when I think about where my products ended up.

What instigated me to do this review is the wonderful service I received from a US company, not a mail forwarding company. I ordered two handbags 10 days ago and they arrived today, in perfect condition and they kept me informed every 2 days of where the parcel was. I was not expecting them until next week but I had a nice surprise today, they have won a future customer. It triggered the memory of Bongo Intl. and I wanted people to know what happened to me and it appears I am not the only one who has encountered the same/similar problem.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Scam company!! Watch out when you use them for shipping.

I have never had any problem with online purchase before until now. Bought a pair of VANS shoe for my husband. He doesn't like online shopping. I convinced him to let me buy the shoe for him. Unfortunately he proved me wrong. Very disappointting!!
I have tried to call them numerous time within the trading hours that the company suggests. Keep getting the message saying " the line is currently busy, please tried again!" . It cost me more money on international calls than the purchase.

My advise is to stay away from this company!!!!
