This company is awful!!! I wasn’t able to use my membership as I was in the hospital for a MONTH with my father which is a terminal illness. Trying to explain this to them and they could care less.... Mehr ansehen

Greedy

Greedy to say the least, only reason I used active and fit was to have access to multiple gyms with one membership. Starting July 01 2024, they will be charging an additional 23$ a month for each added gym membership.

Corporate greed strikes again

Corporate greed strikes again.

What made Active and Fit great was $28 a month for AS MANY gym memberships as you wanted. Now they’re charging an extra $23 PER extra gym. I spoke to customer service who claimed less than 1% of members had more than one gym membership. Doesn’t seem true but even if it is, why charge to extra money to less than 1% of members? I use to advocate for active and fit and now I’ll do the opposite. Just another company exploiting its members for extra money. They couldnt care less about their customers. Typical American greedy corporation. I’ll be cancelling by July 1st.

Pretty great. Needs to build an app to be more user friendly

I get active and fit direct through usaa. It's getting 4 stars because they don't have an easy way to access your account. You basically have to call them for the information. However, you do get access to a ton of gyms. I'm military so I move and travel all over the place, so it's great to get access to gyms all over the place, even remote towns. It also makes going to the gyms more fun because it's like a fresh experience everytime. Also you get to find which gyms you like best for when your in the area the next time.

Big scam

Big scam. Don't waste your money. Illegal charged my card, never sent me an email on charging, and did even not pay the end retailer. Beware and save your money

They are changing the fee structure

They are changing the fee structure. Now every other gym company you use is $-5 off there current monthly fee. So if your with active and fit Now it’s $32 -$5 ($28-$5 for Active and fit Direct) for each additional gym company you add. BEFORE IT WAS GREAT JUST $32 and you get all the gyms they offered. Was too good to be true. Sucks big time. I’m sure I’m canceling my membership, and I would bet I'm not the only one who is considering this. WHOEVER MADE THIS DECISION IS AN IDIOT! Good luck with your company that had been promoting this since 2017. GET READY FOR THE FALLOUT!

Horrible

They make it almost impossible to figure out how to sign up. Useless. I will just pay full price. This is not worth the aggravation. Thanks for nothing.

Straight TRASH

Straight TRASH. Signed up to utilize at my neighborhood ish gym but the stopped accepting their customers on 19 Jan 24. Had issues and haven’t been in the gym since the new year and was informed by the gym they didn’t accept active and fit. This company KNEW the gym I used no longer accepted them and continued to take not from me for a service I couldn’t use even if I wanted to. Asked for a refund and they said no. I pushed the issue and they agreed to graciously refund April, even though it is only the 27th of March. If I hadn’t asked to to speak to a supervisor, I would not have got that. TOTAL TRASH ORGANIZATION!!!! BEWARE!!

This is the worst customer service I…

This is the worst customer service I have experienced. I bought a 4-class pass membership to Club Pilates in February. They charged me for 2 months plus the enrollment fee. It took multiple calls to get it activated. Now we are in March, though I paid for 2 months, the gym while they are nice and helpful, can't seem to see my payment and so unable to avail the class.

I have called ActiveandFit multiple times and came across the worst IVR

Still struggling!

If I could give 0 I would. This website is a SCAM. Please be aware everyone not to order from this site! The money they take for any item they automatically use to sign you up to a membership then try take money off you every 2 weeks and no items get sent it’s all a SCAM. Please do not order!

Horrible service/useless

Horrible service/management. Long story short .. i have paid my 200$ for the whole year and selected a club that was on there as an option however that club was not participating in the program anymore so i have been trying to email them , call them , left voicemails anything possible i can for them to switch me to another club so i can start working out and nothing. I demanded my refund but still nothing, as my bank wants me to get in contact with merchant first. Do not go with this company unless you want to be scammed or deal with issues. It has been so stressful not being able to go to the gym and receive what i paid for. Do NOT recommend this company! Stay away!

Worst Service and don't bother to call customer service

I recently enrolled with for gym memberships. While I was excited about the prospect of using their services, I encountered some issues.

Upon enrolling, I faced challenges with my gym membership, and unfortunately, the process wasn't as smooth as I had hoped. To address these concerns, I attempted to contact their customer service. However, I was disappointed to find that after calling, My call was directed to Customer Representative but he/she didn't speak a work while I could hear giggle when I confronted them that I know someone is on the other line, there was no response from the other end. It left me feeling frustrated and concerned about the professionalism of the service.

I believe that effective communication is crucial for customer satisfaction, and the lack of response from Active and Fit's customer service was quite unprofessional. I'm currently in the process of trying to resolve these issues, and I wanted to share this experience with everyone in case you were considering enrolling with them as well.

Active & Fit ripped me off of one months dues. Golds dropped A&F and so I had to renogotiate my contract. I paid Golds for November and Active and fit charged me for Nov. anyways and refuses to give $

Golds gym cancelled A&F in Oct and informed me at the end of Oct. I had to renegotiate GG contract and pay out of pocket. A&F went ahead and charged me for Nov anyways and will not return my money. This organization is nothing more that a crooked Coop. I'm writing my State DA.

SHADY. take your money and give you no membership. Cesar (7357) is the rudest worst customer service member ive ever experienced. Refused to give me manager contact info despite confirming they exist. Paid $200 to not even get gym membership

DO NOT USE THEM

DO NOT use them! They have a major security issue and WILL NOT take accountability for their systematic issues and made it clear they do not plan to fix it.



I was charged for the same service on two different cards for a services that cannot be shared. The services were on two separate accounts that had my identical name, dob, and contact details. Their subscription model is based on a per person usage, meaning even a spouse needs their own subscription. Somehow, both accounts exit with two separate payment options. I was under the impression they were for the same account as they were charged on different dates and never thought twice, and trusting them for the last years, didnt make me think twice since I would see $20 dollar charges every now and then. I finally caught it because their premium increase flagging my card the same day they took out money from my other card. I tried to retrieve my login information online and it said I did not exist. After getting ahold of an agent, I came to find out I am under their system twice. They can't explain how I ended up with two accounts and can't guarantee this won't happen again because "they don't create the accounts themselves”.
They refused to reimburse me for an error their system should have caught before the second account was even created. Their reasoning is that even if their customers don't use it their subscriptions, they still charge them. That I get. What I don't get is why there was even a second account under my exact name, dob, and address, and why did their system not stop it or catch it. I was then told that there is nothing they can do to prevent this from happening again, even if its someone fraudulently opens another account under my name.

I have been a victim of identity theft before and personally this is nothing to play around with and I hope that at least I raised enough concern for someone their company to fix it!

Terrible customer service, unacceptable attitude and service

My only local gym closed without any notice and stated we would be refunded if we were part of a third party membership (such as this). I was charged for the month, and contacted chat customer service "Glen". I kindly asked for a refund, stating the situation that was out of my hands. I was told there were other gyms available in my area (next closest was 33 miles away) and that I would be denied a refund. I explained this was not my choice and this was not reasonable. Customer service was extremely rude and had an attitude for the duration of my contact with them. Do not deal with this company.
