I had a consultation with Mr Maneesh Gei, a consultant Urologist, initially at the Wellington Hospital. He was very kind, informative and most of all, very friendly. His admin office arranged my forthcoming procedure quickly and efficiently. They were always available for my questions. I have absolutely no complaints regarding my treatment and would always recommend Mr Ghei and his Urocare team.

Very clear and reassuring, excellent care all round

In short, Mr. Ghei is an outstanding doctor and I feel very fortunate to have been referred to him. I had a large (1cm) asymptomatic kidney stone which slightly increased in size over a 6-month observation period since incidental discovery. I had to decide whether to leave it alone or have it removed via a ureteroscopy/laser procedure. Mr. Ghei carefully explained the procedure/process and all associated risks or complications as well as risks of leaving the stone. Through discussion with Mr. Ghei, I gained a sense of confidence and comfort with his extensive experience and overall personality and thus decided to proceed with the procedure. As explained to me, the process required two sessions, the first to break up the stone with a stent inserted and then a follow-up to remove any remaining fragments and the stent. Mr. Ghei expertly performed both procedures and everything went smoothly, so I am extremely happy with the outcome and Mr. Ghei’s care of me as his patient. I would also like to make special mention of the expert care of Mr. Belavadi as the anaesthesiologist and to Katie Shaw for arranging everything for me. Overall, I can sincerely and highly recommend Mr. Ghei and staff for this type of treatment.

I was treated by Dr Maneesh Ghei for my Uro issue, was completely satisfied with his approach to my issue, after my 3rd visit It was cured and Dr informed me there was no need to address the issue, Now I have to take another test in 3 months to establish that everything is clear.

My introduction to Mr Ghei was a little unusual as I had agreed with another consultant to have a procedure but he was not available to carry out the operation. He recommended me to Mr Ghei who I met.
Mr Ghei was obviously very knowledgeable and gave me confidence that I was in good hands.
He came to see me before and after the operation and perhaps might have been a little more patient as he was obviously busy and had other patients to see.
From a medical point of view he is a very competent doctor/surgeon and I would feel comfortable recommending him to anyone who needs the services he provides.

Dr Ghei was fantastic - made me feel at ease by getting my tests done on the same day. And then giving me the results within a few days. I would definitely recommend him. Thank you

1. Mr Ghei displayed an excellent bedside manner at all consultations and in hospital (for my biopsy).
2. Quickly and efficiently set up appointments for biopsy, MRI and follow up consultations.
3. Mr Ghei provided me with my biopsy results on 10 March (as arranged) but called me in 20 minutes early to give me the "good news". Given my nervous apprehension beforehand it was great that I could be seen a few minutes early!

Mr Ghei is great. Made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure.

The clinical review were helpful, down to earth and easy to relate with.

Sadly I had an acute condition when I first met Mr Ghei in hospital but he was charming and re-assuring and at subsequent consultation , also very engaged and pleasant. Would recommend if you have any urinary issues, as clearly he is an expert with many years experience.
