I was looking for a bit of assistance in developing my Ops Manual in preparation for starting up a family business with my wife. I have previous experience with standards and manuals and knew it was achievable on my own but with the right expertise would be a lot easier. After doing a bit of research and getting quotes from other RAE’s I decided to go with UAV8. The quote was very reasonable in comparison to others and I found that Barry was very down to earth and knowledgable when I needed questions answered. Without the assistance of UAV8 the process would more than likely have ended in a couple of failed attempts in gaining approval from the CAA. I would highly recommend that you contact UAV8 even for just an enquiry, I am positive you would have the same experience I did. Acceptance without a major headache! We all know how confusing the ANO can be when it comes to Drones!

If you are researching potential training providers, look no further. Baz, Nick and Mark took me and a bunch of work colleagues through the A2CofC and GVC training, it was a really well thought-out course run by 3 totally professional guys passionate about drone flying and getting people properly trained. Great from start to end, the online live training was perfectly structured and we all passed both exams at the start of Day 2. The rest of the day was taken up with some flying assessments and a chance to fly a range of different drones which was a brilliant opportunity. I can't praise UAV8 highly enough.

So if you want to be trained by two ex apache helicopter pilots who made the whole process easy, engaging and enjoyable- This is where to go. I saw a load of other places doing it, so you only did the courses online at your own time. The group instructor method was much better in my opinion. Oh and it was extraordinarily cheap for what you got.I haven't done a course in 25 years but it was very easy.

Absolute no brainer if you’re thinking of doing your A2 these are your guys. They know what they’re doing and how to deliver the course efficiently and effectively.

I am a multimedia artist and I recently aquired a Mavic 2 Pro to film videos to promote my artwork. I was pointed to UAV8 through the Dover Drone Club to get the ACofC license I feel I need to properly operate my drone in the UK. The course was very well organized and presented. I enjoyed the course and UAV8's instructors are great! The customer service is also top notch as all the required communications were almost instant in response. The whole experience was truly enjoyable and informative. I would recommend UAV8 to anyone in need of the very fine services they provide.

I understood the A2 CofC course as I had wanted to get the qualification since it became available. The tuition was just great handled by three knowledgable military aviators having a combined 100 years of experience. The course content was delivered at a good pace with questions posed back to students every so often to make sure we had understood the point. The price point was also excellent and more than value for money. A high recommendation from me.

I have now obtained my A2-COFC with UAV8 LTD Getting enough knowledge and understanding to feel confident in planning, setting up, being confident to call ATC for guidelines and completing any drone tasks within my certificate limits.

I wanted to gain a better understanding of the legal issues surrounding UAS use as i work for an educational establishment that uses the technology for S.T.E.M. The team at UAV8 are highly experienced professional aviators who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their training. The value for money of this course was astounding, it was delivered by a team of instructors and all elements of the process and exam were clearly identified and explained. The course was delivered in a varied and interesting way with humour and held my interest throughout. I can honestly recommend UAV8 with all my heart!

There is a huge amount of content to cover but it is disseminated at the right level and makes a daunting subject digestible. Extremely good online course, good value and very comprehensive. The no nonsense approach by really experienced and knowledgable pilots meant I was able to pass my course first time and become certified.
They don’t have all the bells and whistles with mock exams or reference notes that some other more expensive courses offer, but this was more than made up for by the friendly, helpful and experienced approach. Don’t hesitate to use this company for your training needs.

Just succesfully completed PfCO to GVC update course today. Course on Saturday was a really good refresher course for PfCO holders and I would thoroughly recommend UAV8 to anyone looking for this update. The course was well structured and very professionally delivered via Zoom and just to top it all off the guys delivering the course are just really nice friendly people who make this fairly intense course an enjoyable experience.
