TopGrass was launched in 2005 with the aim of offering top-quality lawn care using the knowledge, materials, and equipment of the professional groundsman and applying it to domestic lawns. TopGrass is an independent lawn treatment company set up by Tom Arnold and Ian Decourcy whose backgrounds combine experience in treating professional lawns and sports turf with business expertise from working in quality-driven blue-chip companies. After many years, we are now a well-established, family-run company. Tom's wife Shirley, daughter Katie and two sons Chris and Peter, all now have varying input into the business and bring with them their core family values to the everyday running of the company.

Will use them again
The service provided by TopGrass has always been excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, and intend to use them again in our new home (as soon as we have replaced the existing artificial grass).

The Top Grass people are so good. They are prompt, polite, friendly and very efficient. My lawn looks so much better than it used to. Great service from a lovely team.

I give up- time for a change.
I have used them for years and the technicians do a good job but the attitude of the company- perhaps its franchisee, perhaps its computer- has driven me mad so I am looking for a new contractor.
1) they emailed me on the day to cancel scarifying as another customer hadn’t been straight about how big his job was. They should have kept him waiting not me.
2) Their payment terms are 14 days which I adhere to. After 7 they email to remind me to pay within 14. I have pointed this out but they say there is nothing they can do and I should ignore it. Change the terms to 7 then.
3] Today is the final straw. They have sent me their deal for 2021 and say they “have kept inflation costs to a minimum”- but it’s 3%. Annual RPI 0.8%. If you are going to put prices up by more than inflation then justify it don’t try and mislead your customers.
The price is shown as per my current package but they said I am automatically going on to a higher package at an increased price which they don’t give. Who said I wanted a higher package anyway?
Treat your customer better.
Grumpy? Perhaps, but frustrated more and now I have to find someone else to care for the grass.

Have been a customer of TopGrassIMidlands)Ltd for a number of years. They take care of our lawns. They always remind us when they will be coming and always arrive as arranged. We don't have to do anything, other than unlock the gate. Their staff are always very pleasant, helpful, reliable and efficient. We are more than happy to give TopGrass a five star review.

great looking lawns
I have been using TopGrass for a few years now and I have always found there operatives most courteous and helpful. My lawns always look in very good condition I take great pride in them and work hard on them myself, if fact when I was cutting the front lawn in the Summer a chap walked onto my driveway to comment that he was amazed to see me cutting it as he had always thought it was artificial grass,

Lawn Professionals.
We called Top Grass because our lawns were getting rather tired and dreary. The young lady we spoke to was very polite and professional and booked our first consultation visit. The representative arrived on time and carried out a full inspection of our lawns and explained the problems he saw and then he carried out the first treatment. He was also very professional and friendly and ran through all the things we need to do. We will definitely use this company again. They offer a first class service. We were very impressed.

Really good company
Really good company, great staff and good lawn results. I would recommend you being there when they visit and talking to the staff (who are all great) though, as it's sometimes not clear from their emails and online account what's being done and why.
Overall good though, defo recommend.

Lovely lawn no more weeds
Our lawn was in a sorry state with weeds taking over but since Topgrass has been treating it for about 7 years now we have a lovely lawn and no weeds and excellent customer service would recommend them and well worth doing

I’ve been using TopGrass for the past 5 years now....and the lawns are looking really good. Excellent service, great advice and easy to do business with as they plan the year’s treatments turn up and do the work when it’s needed and I can then pay on line without any fuss.... 10/10.
