Appalling company
Ordered the thermosyn capsules. Found out I had signed up for six months worth. Not made clear at checkout. Tablets made me feel nauseous and heart raced bad, however, their appalling customer service would do nothing about stopping the orders and continue taking the money out of my account for six months even though they made me feel terribly ill. Tablets did not work and a disgusting company. Will never use this company again. Rip off.

Awful!!! I signed up to a subscription without realizing! Apparently it is in the fine print which is not obvious to buyers! I emailed them numerous times and rarely got responses. I asked to stop my subscription and they declined and said I had to pay for 6 months! Awful company! I would never ever use again!

I personally didnt get on with this product. I fell into the social media advertising trap of "amazing" results which realistically dont happen by drinking a coffee. I contacted the company only to be tols i need to send them a letter from my doctor to prove it was affecting my stomach, giving me aches etc. They also are very rude and refuse to cancel my contract. DONT BUY IT OR GET THE "FREE" SAMPLE

Got hooked into a subscription for the hot chocolate after not paying full attention to the fine print, I sent them several emails requesting to cancel the subscription of which they ignored every single one despite them telling me to “not be shy” and contact them with any query in their welcoming email to me. After being worried about being scammed for my money because of the lack of professionalism in the customer service department, I felt like I had no other choice but to cancel the transaction with the bank, to then they replied to me with a threat of sending bailiffs to my house if I don’t respond to their email within 3 days after not replying to me for months?
This is not a monthly subscription that they are so called promoting they are deducting £15 from me every other week and some months even 7 days apart!!
This product is absolutely useless, my skin has never been spotty ever since I was younger and ever since I have been using this product I have had the worst breakout ever and not only that it is making my hair brittle and dry. This is not healthy for your skin, hair and nails AT ALL.
Still in the process of getting this sorted out, if anyone has been in a similar situation please message me to help me with this stress!!

I requested a free sample of their products and then found they were taking £15.99 every 2 weeks from my account.when I queried it, they tried sending me the same generic email responses so I stopped my card with my bank( bank advised me they are aware of this company)then requested to Gemma that she send me their Company complaints procedure, their Company reg number and a copy of the T&C's that I signed. Gemmas response every time was to write into an address and refer me to a link on the bottom of their webpage so each time I went back advising her that she was not addressing my request as I had not received a copy of their complaints procedure, not seen sight of signed T&C's and had totally ignored my request for their Company number.They have never come back to me regarding the fact I stopped payments via my bank and the reason they haven't is because its all scare tactics by them!! they cannot send bailiffs to your house because to do that they would have to take you to court and they wont take you to court because they are a scam!!! they are holding your personal details without your consent which they cant do, they are not compliant with GDPR, which they would have to be to hold your personal details(hence why they would not confirm the Company reg no) these are both BIG fines if taken to regulator and also no court in the land will take the side of a Company who cannot show signed T&C's. They MUST by law send me a copy of the T&C's that I seemingly signed to consent to me agreeing to a contract subscription...they havent sent me one because I nor any of you have signed it.DO NOT give this scammer one penny more of your money, cancel your card with your bank today!!! then please write to Watchdog asking them to investigate, the more of us who request this will help ensure that WD see how big a scam this is and investigate so the wider public do not get pulled into this scam and hopefully lead to this Company being prosecuted for fraud!!!

Horrendous experience!
Horrendous experience!! Never trust this company! They advertised ‘free thermosyn slimming tablets’ and as someone who had never tried such a product before, I was excited to trial it for ‘free.’ They’ve since been hounding me for a supposed subscription which apparently was hidden in the order. The cost is £12.99 every 15 days for 6 months. I’m horrified. The tablets themselves have given me such bad headaches I stopped after 5 days and my doctor advised its due to the high caffeine levels and one other ingredient. Absolute con and disgrace. Customer service have been no use whatsoever and have continued to send me threatening emails.

SCAMMERS AND UNHELPFUL SUPPORT STAFF
I bought a packet of 'The skinny cafe hot chocolate' on a guest account, as it was advertised as a 'free trial' with the customer only having to pay for delivery.
Stupidly by fault of my own, I did not read the fine print which was NOT clearly stated at the time of purchase that once the first order was placed I unknowingly entered into a 6-month contract.
Firstly, the Hot Chocolate itself was very bland and not pleasant to drink so I obviously did not want to reorder. However, they were taking 2 payments of £15 from my account on a monthly basis.
I contacted the support email saying that I would like to cancel my subscription and I received no reply. I then looked into the terms and conditions of the website to then realise that I had entered into a 6-month contract. I emailed again saying once the 6 month contract is order please ensure that you unsubscribe me immediately as the product tastes disgusting and they send you out an excessive amount.
I spoke to my bank and asked them to block 'The skinny cafe' from taking further payment and then after ignoring my previous emails I received an email from their support staff in my JUNK emails stating that they 'will be contacting their debt collection agency and I will be liable to paying any court fees if I did not reply in 3 working days' later on in that email they said they take up to 2 working days to reply to customer emails leaving very little time for me to respond. Luckily I had been going through my junk emails so I spotted this email on the day that it was sent.
I have had a very frustrating experience with the skinny cafe and it has taught me one valuable lesson to always read the fine print, if something sounds too good to be true it probably is.

What a let down
I have to admit I love the hot chocolate but I also signed up for subscription for Thermosyn. I have been advised by my doctor that they interfere with medication as they contain glucomannan. I wrote to Gemma to explain the situation and as I am a single disabled mum it was an expense I couldn't afford any longer as I couldn't use them and so she requested a doctor's note from me. I then advised her that a doctor's note costs with in excess of £20 which I don't have I also provided her with the list of my medication and a link that the Dr advised to give but once again (and in a very abrupt manner) she said they won't cancel without the expensive doctor's note. Just on principle alone I will not be buying anymore products from.Skinnycaffe after the 6month supply of Thermosyn is up but from now on I'm not buying any of their other products either. What an absolute heartless response they gave.

I ordered a hot chocolate packet from this company 6/7 months ago, it was a free packet only paying for shipping and not realising it was a subscription, they have taken almost £80 unauthorised payments out of my bank on hot chocolate packets I haven’t even opened. I have emailed the company to cancel to subscription and they won’t and now they have threatened me with the baliff on myself who is a 17 year old! I have not used any of them or even opened them!

I did not realise I subscribed to a six month contract. I ordered in May so on the 1st Oct I emailed them asking for my subscription to be cancelled to be advised I'm unable to do so until the 21st Nov ... I'm shocked at how a company can scam you into a six month subscription without creating an account. Anyway I left it at that and was going to send them an email on the 21st Nov ...
Today I've just received a threatening email advising apparently I've blocked the bank transaction which they personally strongly advise against. What a bunch of lying SCAMMERS !!! Trying to scare you into thinking they're taking you to court and apparently I'll end up paying the full subscription fee plus another fee on top when I've not done a thing.
Bank will be getting called today asking if I can take further action. THIS IS NOT ON !!!

Disgusting customer service, evil contracts!
Trailed a free sample, hated it! It tasted like chemicals, far worse than many other bands of the same product. Contacted them to say I didnt like it, and apparently you can only cancel the subscription you're tied into from a free sample after 6 months unless you never opened the bag to try in the first place.
Wouldn't call that a trail at all. Wouldn't even let me swap to a different product.

Stay away from this company! I have contacted them several times on e-mail, their contact form on their website, every social media channel... but they don’t answer. I sent a cancellation notice on their subscription, within the 14 days they require you to. But they did not answer on that or as mentioned any of the other times I tried to reach them, and they keep on sending me the product and taking my money. I did like their coffee before, but I’m NEVER going to order anything from them ever again. The most unprofessional company I’ve ever encountered.
