THIS PLACE IS A FRAUD DO NOT BUY FROM HERE, YOU ORDER 1 THING TO TRY IT OUT AND THEY SIGN YOU UP FOR A 6 MONTH TRIAL AND SAY YOU CAN NOT GET OUT OF IT. THE PRODUCTS TASTE LIKE ABSOLUTE CRAP AND DO NOT WORK!!!
STAY CLEAR, I TOLD THEM I DO NOT WANT TO PAY £15.99 FOR HOT CHOCOLATE EVERY 2 WEEKS FOR THE NEXT 6 MONTHS AND WILL BLOCK THEM FROM TAKING MONEY FROM THE ACCOUNT. THEY THREATENED ME WITH LEGAL ACTION!! DISGRACEFUL PLEASE STAY AWAY THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A FRAUD!! STAY CLEAR!!!!!

Absolutely hideous company. Received an email to get a free item and pay only shipping. No where did it state that it was a subscription service and now I have repeated unauthorised payments taken out of my account. ‘Gemma’ who claims to be the manager gives the WORST customer service I’ve ever had. So unhelpful saying I should have sent the free pack back?! Sorry, I wasn’t even aware it was a subscription service until the payment came out 2 weeks later which conveniently is return window?! Massive scam, AVOID

This company will scam anybody they can for a bit of money. After seeing an influencers post on The Skinny Caffe’s Beauty Locks Hot Chocolate and it being a ‘only pay shipping’ I thought that I would give it a try. Well that was 100% the worst decision of my life. I left a review on their page along with a few other people and these reviews have now been deleted! Luckily I screen shotted the reviews incase this happened. I will be reporting this company again and hopefully something will be done. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Please please don’t use this company. My young daughter used her card to buy some hot chocolate she thought she was getting for free and just paying the postage. When she told me on the same day, I quickly realised it was a subscription service. I contacted them asking for them to cancel the order and the subscription immediately. The reply I got was that they can’t as she should have sent back her first order. (She hadn’t even received it yet as it was on the same day!! ) I emailed back saying she hadn’t received it as the order had only just been placed and can they cancel it. I have had no response back. I have now had to cancel my daughters bank card and order a new one so they can’t take anymore money from her. The terms and conditions are not clear at all when buying these “free” products and I wonder how many unsuspecting people they have tricked into this. Disgusting customer service. No phone number to call either. Companies like this need shutting down!!!!!!!

Honestly wished I'd read the reviews before buying, so all I bought was the skinny coffee salted caramel flavour and with my order I was given a trial sample of the thermo syn capsules and honestly the coffee is absolutely disgusting I'm gagging while drinking it but I persevered for a week on a strict clean eating diet and this coffee and capsules and I gained 2lb and felt so sick all week it was making me feel dizzy and sick every day then what a scamming company this is they subscribed me up to receive the capsules every 2 weeks and take 12.99 every 2 weeks from my bank I've queried this with the company just to get fobbed off saying I had subscribed when I honestly didn't and have just read their cancellation policy they are refusing to cancel this until 6 months is up. Everyone I am now on a mission to make everyone aware of what scamming #$$@#$ they are. Avoid like the plague do not order

So granted I applied for a “subscription” without even realising...my fault!

I’m current paying £20 every 2 weeks for 2 packets of capsules which I only receive one at a time?! These capsules are making me poorly and advised by the GP to not continue. I asked if there was any way of reducing either the price which they have refused. I have packets which are unopened and I’m unable to use. Because I “signed” up for a 6 month subscription I have to continue this until the end of November.

Please be careful when you buy these products, apparently you opt yourself into a subscription which you are unable to get out of.

I have contacted them numerous times and only have a standard email reply, there is no contact number to call them to make a complaint.

I don’t trust this company and I don’t believe in their products. Watch what you actually buy and “subscribe” to as well.

Easily the worst company I've ever dealt with.

Unfortunately signed up for a 6-month subscription and was told by their customer service of my possible cancellation date.

After this date, I tried to cancel, and not only did not get straight responses from their customer service, but got generic, copy/paste responses that were irrelevant to my comments.

I proceeded to block their payments from being taken by my bank, as they were violating consumer laws but not giving me a straight response.

Fast forward to three months later, and I was being threatened with collection notices, and finally got some responses out of them. Turns out, they let you skip orders but then it extends your six months.

Am going through with the last two shipments to get them off my back, but they refuse to cancel my subscription even after my efforts to tell them I don't even want their disgusting product, but they refused, siting that after the last shipment, I will need to contact them AGAIN to cancel.

On top of that, I have moved house, (still in the same city) and they are charging me additional shipping for some reason ????

Absolute nightmare, accidentally subscribed to this stupid plan even though the capsules make me feel sick, being sent a new packet every 3 weeks and being charged £12.99 but cannot cancel until 6 months have passed. Would generally avoid.
DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU'VE READ THROUGH ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FIRST

Never buy from this company I’m reading the stories on here and I am in the same boat and I’ve had to cancel both my bank cards as i ordered from them twice on 2 separate cards not even knowing I was signing up for a 6 month subscription and now I’ve been receiving threatening emails for the last week telling me that if I don’t pay they are taking it further to debt collectors etc - Gemma again is who has been emailing me! She keeps saying you knew what you was signing up for which is complete rubbish as all I did was simply purchase the hot Chocolate which you only needed to pay £2.99 for p+p! NEVER was I aware that every 20 days money would be coming out of my account! It’s disgusting behaviour and she told me I had 14 days to cancel and send the product back unused but again that’s rubbish as I have read on the website that the refund policy doesn’t apply to subscription orders so I could never have returned/come out of it if 1 I had known that I was part of a subscription and 2 I wanted to! Has anything happened to anyone who has cancelled their cards and not payed 20 days later? I have payed for what I have received....I’ve not received any further hot chocolates that I’ve not payed for. I am so angry about this, they are just trying to frighten customers and make them worry which is so bad!

This company should be shut down, like everyone else I have been conned into a subscription by clicking onto a free pack of slimming tablet and the next thing a get a email telling me a naxt delivery was on its way . I emailed them back saying I didn’t order them to be told I signed up for a 6 months subscription to which I replied I know nothing about . To late , I did not receive a email about my subscription so could not cancel within the first 15 days , what a scam . I cancelled with the bank now I am getting threatening letters , I have informed Citizens Advise , Tradings Standard and Action Fraud who have all said they will look into this company . Before all this I quite liked some of there products but they have lossed a good customer now

My young niece had no idea she was being scammed into a monthly theft from her account. There is no option to cancel under manage subscriptions and a third email has not helped.
This lot are a bunch of scammers preying on young girls.

Do not trust any celebs advertising this company, they are a SCAM! They try to trap you in with a "free" trial where you have to pay £2.99 postage but then you are apparently in a subscription which you can't cancel! Tried to go into "my account" which I have not set up but when I try to request "forgot my password", it says there isn't an account in my email address! So you can't even go in to remove your card details! I had to call up my bank to cancel any further payments to them!

Anyone have any advice? She’s 17, has learning needs (which I’ve emailed and explained) and all I get is there’s nothing that can be done. As she’s only 17 is she legally allowed to be tied into a contract?

I’ve cancelled her bank card and now she’s received the same email which everyone else has.

My advice to anyone is STAY AWAY

this company force you in to a subscription to complete the payment process. the t's&c'c are unclear and again, you are forced to accept these prior to purchasing. you are unable to make any singular purchases despite the site suggesting that this is an option. emails are not replied to until day 14 after you have made a purchase, which is done so you are then unable to return the goods and end the subscription in the timeframe required, leaving you in a SIX month subscription. the after care is not existent, and all email correspondence are intimidating, threatening legal action and bailiffs - despite my continuous request (within the first 14 days of purchase) to end any subscription as that was not my intention. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. the products do not work (for me) and taste awful! I have reported to trading standards and informed the fraud team also. I am in receipt of legal advise, and have had to cancel the payments at my bank. dealing with this company has genuinely affected by mental wellbeing and I have felt overwhelmed and intimidated by them, total SCAMMERS!! PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! they also delete all negative (truthful) messages on their Instagram page or block comments on the pics all together. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM SKINNY CAFFE!!

so you are confirming the inability to make singular purchases as as you have stated below, you MUST accept the t’s&c’s.. putting you in a contract
You DID NOT send me an email to confirm I was in a contact, nor did you state how to end said subscription - the first reply I received from yourselves was on day 14 of my initial purchase

And you do not follow the procedure you state below, should you have done this then I wouldn’t be in this situation now!!
I have asked you several times to send me a copy of my contract, and all I get is a generic email with the link to t’s&c’s

This is representative of how confusing your t’s&c’s are and furthermore, proof that dispute you suggesting singular purchases can be made.. that is simply NOT the case

Should be banned!! My daughter managed to sign up for their thermosyn pills for weight loss, she's school age, 5 ft 6 and a size 6 suffering with anxiety. I cancelled her bank details as soon as the first pack turned up and they're threatening with legal action. Friggin go ahead you incompetent divs!!! Preying on girls who don't need your stupid weight loss programme!!!

You get signed up for 6 month subscription with no clear details.
Emailed them and you have to cancel within 14 days, didnt even get the product for 10 days?

Will be contacting my bank straight away.
