Fantastic Service. Suzy Woods made my bag look like new. I have no idea how she worked her magic but the result is fabulous.

I sent my Max Mara camel trousers off to Diane White with a hole in them on the front leg. They came back super quick and I was blown away by what she had managed to achieve! They look perfect!!! No sign of the hole or repair. I cannot recommend Diane enough for communication, professionalism and skill and will definitely use Diane again. This was my first experience with The Seam. Thank you so very much!

I used The Seam to get the leather straps on an old Gucci backpack extended and replaced. The maker was excellent and did such a wonderful job - the straps were of higher quality and design than the original ones even!

I had a wool jumper repaired by Gabriela. She was very responsive and carried out the repair very quickly. I am extremely happy with the work she did, considering it was an expensive jumper that may have ended up at the charity shop.

I had an old bomber jacket where the lining had completely disintegrated - looked fine on the outside but inside it was a mess. I wasn't sure whether fixing it would be worth the trouble and expense, but I thought I'd take a chance because I hate waste.

My maker Diana White did an amazing job replacing the lining with the supplied fabric. She went the extra mile, replacing the care tags, recreating the inner pocket from lining material etc. and doing all this so carefully that the jacket really looks like new. Then (being local to me) she very kindly dropped the jacket back round. Highly recommended.

Gabriela did a fantastic job on my cashmere cardigan. The two little holes have been invisibly mended and I can’t even tell where they were. Beautifully done!

The repair that was undertaken on my designer bad was tricky but Tess did a fantastic job. The bag looks as good as new I am really pleased as I wasn’t certain what to expect. The result is fantastic!

I’ve used The Seam twice now. First time for a repair to a much loved jumper where a moth had dined on the collar and then a zip repair on a skirt. Both repairs were fabulous, seamless, super quick and attentive. The jumper you could not tell a moth had attacked it and the skirt came back like new. Really impressed with the service and will continue to use it. They are a life saver for clothes that need a bit of TLC. Thank you to the two wonderful seamstresses who have repaired my items to date.

Selina Latour did a fantastic job on my merino top - I had four holes - I mainly wear as a layer so wasn’t too worried about how it looked, but I’m really happy with how it turned out. A great first Seam experience.

My “maker” Anne Stack did an excellent job of restoring my items which I’d previously thought I would need to dispose of. In particular, one item with a hole not on the seam was repaired with a patch that is hardly noticeable. The whole transaction was smooth - from online payment, to sending items to the maker in the post to the return of the items to me once the repairs were complete. I would definitely recommend The Seam service and use them again if needed.

I recently had my dress altered by Sandra and I can’t express how thrilled i am with the results! She did a fantastic job on the hem and the fit is just perfect. What I really appreciated was how she kept me updated throughout the process, it made everything feel so smooth and reassuring. This platform is great! Suzy Woods did a fabulous job on restoring my tired, old Anya Hindmarch handbag to its original condition. The colour (white) was faded all over and the edges/handles were worn/damaged. I never thought I could get it looking usable again and so I’m so grateful for Suzy who made it look like new! Highly recommend Suzy and this platform generally.

Annalisa Monti did a fantastic, speedy job replacing the zip on my Mint Velvet jeans. I was worried the zip might be replaced with a lesser quality one but Annalisa has used quality materials and has done a flawless repair. Ashamedly, I use to throw away broken garments, but The Seam is so easy to use, the process is so simple and the cost is so reasonable, that I will be definitely be using this service again.

Delighted with Suzy W’s work to restore a much loved bag that has been out of action for quite some time. She repaired the handle, other bits of stitching and cleaned the whole thing up. It looked great - almost like new (despite its age). Felt v smart about town with it. Would definitely recommend
