Nicole Akong did a brilliant repair job on my very fine knit cashmere jumper which had several moth holes. In fact she discovered quite a few more holes than the 4 I had found - and communicated well with me to show me the additional holes and to propose variously priced options for dealing with them. I’m very impressed and would heartily recommend the seam & Nicole. A delight to deal with.

I LOVE The Seam ! This time I used Sandra based in Blackheath to mend a pair of Roland Mouret trousers which had a hole in the seam. Not only did she repair them super fast she also did an amazing job - you can hardly see the repair. This is such a good company and I only have had great experiences from handbag repairs to dress alterations. Highly recommend!

Katarina Mootich fixed two of my leather designer bags. She was quick to reply, reasonably priced and returned the items earlier than expected. The craftsmanship is high quality, you can’t even tell the bags needed repair. Will use her again!

Tamsin Lines has done an excellent job on 2 costs with moth holes. Everything was so easy to do and the payment system was very straightforward. Sent the coats on Monday afternoon and were returned to me Thursday morning. Thank you for an excellent job.

I have used The Seam to have several items repaired or altered over the last couple of years and every time I have had excellent service and brilliant quality workmanship. I would definitely recommend. While not the cheapest, it’s worth it to see a loved item restored and stop it ending up in landfill!

I had a vintage waxed Burberry jacket of my moms that a puppy chewed though the sleeves and a few other visible areas including the pockets. It took me nearly two years to find somewhere that would be able to take it in for repairs and also rewax it.
I was matched with Camila who went above and beyond to restore the jacket back to its former glory and sent it back right on time for me to give it to my mom as an early Christmas present. My mom is so thrilled to have it back in her jacket rotation and said it’s her favorite gift.

Camila Fortune has done a brilliant job of invisibly repairing two holes in the sleeve of my favourite winter coat, which I thought I would have to retire. The process was very quick and easy and the results are outstanding. I cannot recommend Seam and Camila highly enough.

I honestly cannot recommend Paola Zappulla enough. My Birkin was completely chewed on the side by my dog to the point where Hermès themselves told me it wasn’t fixable. I was devastated. My mom had even lost all hope for the bag.

Paola worked her magic and quite literally made it look brand new. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and care she put into restoring it are unreal. Even the way it was returned, beautiful ly wrapped and packaged in a sturdy box showed how much she truly cares.
When my mom saw the bag, she could not believe her eyes. If you’re hesitating, take it from someone who has been there, don’t. Whether it’s shoes or bags, book with Paola. She’s a miracle worker.

The lining of my leather jacket was frayed and split. Ella Boucht replaced the lining and even put the original labels back in.
