A friendly family business in Yeovil, answered all my questions on type of mattress to suit me. The delivery all arranged in the week and old mattress recycled !
I would recommend this business to all, the price was very good as well.

From start to finish our dealings with The Bed Specialist were the nicest we have experienced for many years. We were unsure of what exactly was available to suit our needs (mainly related to my wife's mobility and balance problems) but from the moment we entered to shop (from our vehicle parked immediately outside) we were treated with consideration, politeness, and friendliness. My wife was able to "test" a number of beds, and mattresses of varying degrees of firmness, without any sense of being "pushed" towards a particular brand or model. All our questions were answered quickly yet completely, and nothing was too much trouble. We were clearly made aware of the various options on style, colour and bed height, and once our choice was made the order was swiftly completed. The bed duly arrived within the promised timescale, and the delivery personnel continued the politeness we had experienced in the shop. As well as bringing the bed and mattress in to the house, they removed the protective covering, fitted the feet to the bed and placed it as requested. We were given advice on turning the mattress, and they left, with all the packaging material and the old bed and mattress.

I didn’t need to shop around as we have always got our bed/mattress from The Bed Specialist. Staff are always helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy. Delivery time was good and delivery men very friendly and helpful

Nick spent the time to explain various options available and help guide my elderly parents to the right choice for them. Delivery and set up went seamlessly, despite the awful weather on the day.

We recently purchased a double mattress, mattress protector and two pillows from The Bed Specialists and were extremely impressed with the level of personal service, knowledge of the available products the staff showed and the very high quality of the items when they arrived. The attention to detail, friendly and helpful attitude and sheer quality of service delivered was that of a bygone era and something really rare these days. We were looking to replace our mattress and decided to try here first as we had purchased from them several years ago. They have an impressive range of beds and mattresses in the store, and we were encouraged to try out several to establish our preferences. The assistant was very knowledgeable, and with his help we were soon able to narrow the choice down to a few to suit our needs . Delivery was pretty much when they said it would be, as the mattress was made to order and the delivery itself went smoothly with all packaging taken away. Have bought several beds from the bed specialist over the years and have always been pleased with choice, price and customer service. By buying from them you can try different mattresses for the beds without hassle.One of our beds came with a fabulous Devon duvet and we were so pleased with it that we changed all our duvets to them. The price was comparable to the manufacturer so we could get them locally. Wouldn’t use anyone else for beds and mattresses.

Knowing the reputation of the Bed Specialists from friends, I had the confidence to go to their shop when I needed a new mattress. The person at the shop was able to show me different types and styles of mattresses and that made the final choice easier. I also decided to buy a new bed base and was shown a good range of quality beds. Delivery and setting up went very smoothly, at the time expected and with all packaging removed. Buying a bed; it's a minefield and important to get it right. Mistakes can be costly. So, buying from people who care about their business and their customers gives you a better chance or purchasing the correct one for you. I did from the Bed Specialist. Very happy.

Over the years I have bought various beds from the Bed Specialists and recently purchased a new mattress. I have always appreciated the help I have received to understand the differences between the various items on display. They are very knowledgeable and encourage you to try the display items to ensure you are happy with your choice.
When they delivered the mattress they were very careful to avoid damaging my stair lift and removed the old mattress which was very heavy.
