We have done MOT and service where you…

We have done MOT and service where you are booked for us we have paid £173.91 but we have received the service
Oil change, inspection, with oil change.
We noticed there is noise when we using brakes, we asked them still the noise is there they said to us what AA said we done that, we haven’t checked the brake pad , so what you think is it a good service for the money , so for what we servicing the car, anyway we are not happy with your service, we have to book another service somewhere, we we’re not expected this type of service from you, may be this is a cheating.

I used the services of AA Car Service…

I used the services of AA Car Service and was initially promised that my car would be repaired by Wednesday, considering that Monday was a Bank Holiday. However, when I went to collect the car, I was informed that there had been a mistake with the parts order, and I had to wait even longer.

Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. After collecting the car from the garage, new issues started to appear, and when I contacted them, I was told that I would need to leave the car with them again for further inspection.

I paid a substantial amount of money for the repairs, yet the problems were not properly resolved. On top of that, whenever I called to ask about the progress of the work, my calls were ended without any follow-up or return call.

I am very disappointed with this experience, both because of the poor quality of the repairs and the lack of communication. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this garage to anyone.

Great service.

I’ve had excellent service with McLennaghan’s through the AA in the past. This time it was a full service and MOT. As before they arranged to pick up the car the evening before. So work could start first thing in the morning. The job was done quickly and delivered back to my home by 10.30am. Job done. Paperwork completed. Customer very satisfied.

Good price discounted was prompt to arrive

On time call before 15 mins before generally good service only wanted oil change and filter. Good price. Reason for 3 stars he said I had loose wire harness he said he could put a bolt in but didn’t have the right thread, I would presume more that company policy wouldn’t let him as it wasn’t a service just oil and filter change and he measured my tyre depth but not pressure why do 1 and not the other very strange

Mechanic/Booking

Mechanic, very good, booking service, not so good, planning poor. Booked time period, was changed at my request, didn’t see time slot change until day before service. Driver not informed and arrived within the wrong time slot.

Easy to book, not the best communication

Easy to book in and instructions to get the car there. Appreciated the reminder texts and emails too!
The garage couldn’t tell me a time when I went there and said something about getting parts from the AA before servicing so after 3 hours I called the garage and they’d done the not but I decided to leave the service out due to time constraints. I didn’t know if I’d be waiting 2 hours or 2 days really! Not the best communication from the garage.
The woman I spoke to from the AA to cancel my service did the job well even if she didn’t have the freindliest phone manner (coming from a customer support team myself)

Absolutely the worst service company I've ever encountered

After the initial booking being accepted by a local garage for a rear disk brake and pad change. It was then cancelled by them. I contacted the AA only to be offered an alternative 55 miles away! I refused and asked they find something more local. They then did find one....why not the first time who knows.
I turned up at garage before the 8am drop time and booked the car in. I asked how long it would take, I was told as long it takes, it's a 'driver drop' whatever that means? I eventually managed to get an indicative time of 14:00!!
With no choice but to accept I left the keys and went to kill some time. Around 2 hours and 50 mins later the garage called to tell me they were unable to complete the job as their computer would not put the Brakes into maintenance mode (electric handbrake) so I returned picked up the keys and left.
16 days later I get a notification that the AA is requesting payment for the job( that wasn't done!)
I called them to be told they'll check. After transfer to the billing dept. They agreed to refund but this could take up to 21 Days, apparently because of the Banks...I don't accept this.
I am currently awaiting a refund and an explanation as to what went wrong. Did the garage try to claim for work not done, or did the AA take payment without confirmation the job was completed? Either way, this is absolutely the worst car service provider I have ever come across. I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of of using them to think again and look for someone more reliable. If could have given 0 I would have done
