Is a Guy with plenty of experience and knowledge of the motor industry he is very good at his job fixed my Rear Replacements Pads to my Standards and checked all the Proper Procedures In a Professional Manner I would recommend him and keep the Good Work Up

I had a great experience with RAC. Ben (1398) came out to help with my car battery and replaced it successfully. He was kind, patient, and professional throughout, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He made what could have been a stressful situation much easier. Thank you, Ben, for your help. I have comprehensive cover. Only thing I am supposed to pay is parts. mechanic arrived 4 hours later and told me that I had to pay 280£ for a battery. I asked if I had any options as I cannot afford a 280 battery as I am a student with no family in a completely new city. especially not for a 2015 Renault Clio- average battery price £70-100 including on RAC's own website (which I checked of course). also he offered to bring someone to my house to do my service as he noticed my servicing is due on the next 30 days... is that even allowed in their company? I said I was more worried about the battery I will do the service in a few weeks.
Being a Girl, stranded, he obviously was not going to let up and was saying if I don't accept the 280 battery he would leave and they won't come back again for the same issue. I pulled out RAC website showed him all the cheaper batteries for my car Reg on there that are in stock and he said he NEEDS to put the AGM because that's what was in my car at the moment. I went through every option and he would say no to most and yes to some. I then purposefully later went back to one he said yes to and asked again to which he said 'no it wouldn't work' for my car. I then asked clearly 'are you saying none of the cheaper alternatives are compatible with my car despite being on your website and showing as compatible for my registration' he said 'well I'm not saying that exactly'. I ask if he can just jump start it and I will have to look at alternatives as I do not have £280 right now and quite frankly my car is probably not even worth £280. I ask for the report to be sent to me he proceeds to pull the thing out and ask me just sign on the screen. I did not know that was an agreement of whatever he put on the notes. I thought he needed it to send the report to me. he obviously did not put on the notes that he would not give me battery options and that he was unwilling to allow me to choose. I called the support team and I have a recording of them agreeing that I could have gotten a 97£ battery. they also advised me that anything coming up under my reg on their website is suitable. HOWEVER, they still said they would not send anyone else out for the same issue even though I would've been happy to consider alternatives and this man was being unreasonable. also, he said he could come out in 2 days time. its Sunday today. I will have to cancel on all of my vulnerable patients for the next day or so really last minute because of RAC. update: I checked the report and I did not in fact have the AGM battery in my car. it was an EFB worth less than £100.

We were looked after by Jay Elliott. He arrived nice and early as he knew we were away for the weekend and needed to get away as soon as possible. He was very efficient and polite and explained a lot of things to us. He fitted the battery very quickly and the car has worked perfectly since.

Car fixed at home, RAC came out to diagnose the problem, ordered the part and returned a week later to install the it.

Had John Gould 8362 out today for brake disc and pad replacement. John called with an update for time of arrival and promptly arrived at the house. He was professional and friendly and only carried out work that was needed. I have had some issues with some local garages not carrying out work properly or trying to rip me off but this visit from RAC was completely different and I will definitely use again for work and servicing. Thank you

Professional, friendly efficient service (Franco 8589). Great communication from start to finish. Everything explained clearly. Back on the road in really quickly. Volkswagen couldn’t get my vehicle in for 6 weeks. Will definitely be looking at RAC first next time.

On friday 24th August I was travelling and my car broke down at a service station on the m62 I ranf the rac and the first gent that came out spent 10 to 15 minutes checking my car over and told me I was save to carry on with my journey. 20 minutes later my car broke down again white smoke and a bang from my engine.. I rac the rac again and the 2nd gent. Told me the first person should have towed me home. The kind 2nd gent towed me back home.

Dave was exceptionally professional. He explained everything he did and showed me any problems outside of the service. He is a real asset to the company and I will ask for him in future when I use RAC. Thank you very much. Excellent job
