Huge shoutout to our host for the duration of the experience Keira. Made the maze a lot of fun and an enjoyable experience!

Showed up for an afternoon booking, sent us through, signed waiver and then no staff available to lead us through the maze. Unbelievable. Booked a month ago. Child’s birthday. No notice. Didn’t call or communicate that they couldn’t honor the booking. Everyone else went through but us.

it was crap. got put with a random family and did not enjoy the experience at all and got hardly anything to do cause it HAD to be 8 players, i hope they change this rule in the future to how ever many players you want whether its 3 or 5 or 2. staff was uplifting , friendly and positive - only good part

Didn’t think this would be my cup of tea but Bucky, our host, made it an absolute treat. Big shout out to everyone who works here for creating a very fun environment - I would highly recommend this - wafflestompa

Great place to go, fun with the family. Shaun the host was enthusiastic and helpful, only downside was the lgb flag towards the end, it is not required for a family fun themed establishment.

We had a fantastic experience at The Crystal Maze. We really did get to live out a childhood dream! The staff on the check in desk were so helpful and accommodating. I asked for access support and they were very attentive - they made it possible for me to be with my family and experience this with them - thank you very much. Our host was ‘Bucky Blue Eyes’ and he had us in stitches such a fantastic host he really did make our experience fun. Totally recommend doing this experience well worth it A**** The only criticism I have is the price of one photo is a little steep at £15 and we weren’t allowed to purchase a fridge magnet without purchasing a photo!!

We did the crystal maze in Manchester on 05.08.26. Queen Eveline (I think I spelt it right!) made the experience so fun! She was so engaging, energetic, and she had such a postive, fun vibe it made the experience so memorable. She was SO good at improvising her sentences to make it humorous but still interactive! She’s a total asset to the crystal maze team & she was absolutely made for that job. Thank you very much queen, you made Sami’s birthday & you’re an absolute star. From “Sami’s Squad”!!

Awful. Felt dated, the “games master” was very uninspiring and the challenges themselves were either way too easy or impossible. Games rooms looked tired and out of date. The crystal maze itself didn’t blow the silver tokens high enough and the “count up” clearly was made up. Extortionate price as well for what it was. Avoid.

Not as good as what I was expecting considering the reviews were good I was really disappointed.
Firstly we were bundled into another group which we weren’t expecting, meaning we got less goes on the challenges each with another group we didn’t know. Basically watching another group of people to do challenges (or not watch as there wasn’t enough windows/space to see in most cases). Then when doing the challenges, they were quite underwhelming, because they are two mins max each, they weren’t long enough to get into the challenge.
The fact that you charge for photos was ridiculous considering how much we have already paid for the experience, so we refused to pay more money, which is again disappointing as we have nothing to keep as a memory.
Lastly, the final dome challenge to collect the shiny papers was poor, clearly the total number isn’t accurate and completely pointless. There should be an actual count (worked out by the weight of papers or something) with a leaderboard so you know if you actually did well or not.
We came away with no real sense of achievement or challenge as the total came to nothing really to compare to.

Would not do this again unless significant improvements made and better value for money (no charge for photos), not combine groups.

Jason the host was incredible and made it fun silly and exciting and kept the energy the whole game ! Excellent host ⭐️

Went as a family of five. Kids (aged 12-15) thought it was brilliant. Special shout out to King Prawn who made the whole experience for us

me and my fiance came here last week.. what can I say.. the actor selfie Sam was brilliant.. but is it worth the money?... NO.

you pay nearly £70 to play with random people who booked the same slot and you get to play 2 games each.. that's £35 a game 😂 and the games are like throw a hoop on the ledges and some maths games etc... for £35 a game it's a rip off.. for £70 each you should be playing all the games.. and even then it's expensive.. for me I personally wouldn't return.. should be £20 each for the experience and £70 each if you want it to be an intimate game with nobody else joining.

Great Experience, just like the TV Show, the guy who hosted it was awesome. I would highly recommend this and definitely do it again.

The Crystal maze... a little bit underwhelming

The host and the immersive experience was great. It was fabulous to run through the maze, and attempt games.

I do feel disappointed and hence the 3 stars . The games were all 2 minutes,or maybe 3 minutes in 2 of them , meaning the game time was no more than 40 minutes! Some needed longer and felt impossible.
We were 9 instead of 8 as they put together 2 bookings.
We all got to try 2 games and I feel for the price everyone should at least have a go at 3 games as they are all just 2 minutes.

Though this was disappointing we still had a good time but definitely compared to The cube , this is not worth the money.

I think a little more time and allowing each person to do 3 things would have worked a lot better and if we had been 8 instead of 9 , obviously more people would have been able to do this.

I don’t feel I want to go back but that it was fun . Either if it costs less or the experience is a bit extended , then it’s worth doing

Its just like the real thing. One of my favourite activities in the last decade. Our game-guide, Nate is very entertaining, talented, a great motivator and judge of character/ skills. Thanks for making the experience so special and enjoyable!

I do have a negative which is why its not 5 stars. The games were all 2 minutes, meaning the game time was no more than 35 minutes! Some needed longer and felt impossible. I felt we were rushed through the maze, another team were behind us.
The dome had white paper which were not blowing around. The fans blew but the papers stayed around the edge.

Though this was disappointing and the time actually playing was disappointing we had a good time.

I think a little more time and less focus on pushing people through would make this experience 5 stars.

Very friendly staff, mixture of difficulty challenges, tidy reception and rooms, 10/10 would recommend.

We booked the experience in Manchester for a birthday present, eight of us in total arrived ready for the challenge ahead, as we are of a certain age we all had an idea of what to expect or what we thought was coming. I can say we were not disappointed, from the moment we got there it was a full on experience, you watch a short video of Richard the original host giving you a taste of the original TV programme, then from nowhere in burst selfie Steve our host for the experience, what can I say he made the day, from that moment forward it was a whirlwind of fun and laughter, the games an challenges are exactly as you would hope for, you never quite know what to expect when an experience like this is based on a game you have watched and loved for years, but I have to say they have got it spot on, it's exactly as it looks like on the TV. We'll done i can't recommend it highly enough. Brilliant day out for a group of friends.
