Do not buy without reading terms and conditions
I purchased a fragrance from Première Avenue for £255 and paid an additional £27 for DHL delivery, only to then be hit with a £65 customs charge from Royal Mail before I could receive my item.
What is most frustrating is that this was not clearly stated at checkout. There was no obvious warning before payment that additional customs duties and handling fees would apply for UK customers. The only mention of this appeared after I had already placed the order, within the confirmation email or buried in the terms and conditions.
This lack of upfront transparency meant that the perfume ended up costing significantly more than expected — in fact, more than if I had simply purchased it from a UK retailer.
While I understand that customs charges can apply to international orders, it is the responsibility of the retailer to make this clear before purchase, not after. Relying on fine print or post-purchase communication is misleading and creates a poor customer experience.
The product itself may be genuine, but the hidden additional costs and lack of clear communication at checkout are unacceptable. I would strongly advise UK customers to think twice before ordering.

J'ai commander un parfum il y'a 15 jours un peu près .
J'ai changer d'avis ils ont mis 5 jours a me répondre j'ai du relancer.
J'envoi les photos pour le retour on me dit que c'est ok puis une fois le retours arriver chez eux on m'invente que la parfum a été ouvert utiliser etc alors que je ne l'ai jamais ouvert et portant on me dit que le niveau est inferieur a un parfum neuf sans m'envoyer de photo du flacon des menteurs ....honteux je ne commanderai plus jamais chez eux des voleurs.....!

Nous vous avons répondu après avoir obtenu les informations nécessaires pour traiter un retour. Sur vos photos, il n'est pas possible de constater l'état du produit.
Il est bien précisé dans nos conditions générales de vente que le produit doit être dans son emballage d'origine, ne pas avoir été ouvert ni utilisé, et être en excellent état pour être accepté en retour.
Après une inspection minutieuse par notre service SAV, il a été constaté que le produit a bien été ouvert, puisque l'un des éléments devant se trouver à l'intérieur de la boîte a été trouvé hors du packaging. Le produit a donc nécessairement été ouvert.
De plus, nous avons constaté que le produit avait été vaporisé au moins une fois, élément très visible sur la photo que nous vous avons envoyée : il y avait du produit dans la pompe.
Nous ne pouvons absolument pas remettre en vente un produit dans cet état. Aucun client, ni même vous, ne s'autoriserait à recevoir un produit tel que celui que vous avez envoyé.
Vous êtes, Madame, de très mauvaise foi. Comment pouvez-vous vous permettre de nous traiter de menteurs ? Nous avons toutes les photos qui attestent de l'état du produit retourné.
Dans ces circonstances, nous nous voyons dans l'impossibilité de procéder à un remboursement, ni même à un échange. Votre colis vous sera retourné dans les plus brefs délais.
Nous sommes une maison sérieuse, fiable et honnête.
