I have been working with scribendi for several years and have generally been satisfied with the work I receive. However, in the most recent project, I was very, very dissatisfied.
I make sure to clearly specify what I need primarily structural editing (organization, sections, headings), and less so content suggestions or changes to the manuscript itself. This time, I had to spend several hours completing and correcting the structural aspects myself.
I truly believe that in this case I am entitled to a refund for the editing. I paid a significant amount for this work and did not receive it at a professional standard.
