I plan to contact the company after a horrific incident with the de-stress warming body balm. My legs -feet and arms look and felt burned . I thought I would have to go A&E due to the burning and searing pain . Not sure why this product is still being sold

I have just used the de-stress body balm after a shower, slapping it on like normal body balm and it was only when I realised that my bum was on fire that I read the label. This stuff should have a clear warning on the front of the packaging!!! I jumped into the bath and started desperately trying to wash it off my skin with bubble bath and cool water. I now have a rash all over my bum cheeks and down my legs and I feel just as though I'm sunbathing in the middle of the desert. Hot stuff

I’ve just used this for the first time & it’s already in the bin. Before I even got to apply it to my legs my arms & body were on FIRE!!! I had to get back in the shower to wash it off & I can still feel it. De-stress? More like hot mess! If anyone can tolerate that agony they aren’t human

Used sanctuary spa body lotion and felt like skin was on fire! Couldnt wash it off fast enough. Will never use again.

I used the salt scrub last night and when I sat in the bath to wash off, the burning pain was something else. Legs red raw and had to shower for 20 mins cold to take edge off the pain. Still itching and painful today. Will never use products again.

Great products with great results. Loving my skin since using them.

I wish I could rate it on a minus figure! I am fighting with these absolute cowboys for £60 they owe me. I am fobbed off at every turn and passed to someone different. There is always some internal issue as to why they cannot pay me. Essentially they are holding on to my money and have absolutely no right to do so - nothing short of theft. Avoid at all costs!

Given a Sanctuary gift set containing warming balm. In minutes my skin was on fire. Washed off twice & no better. This is dangerous and should be marketed as a medicinal product like Deep Heat. Have used muscle rubs/balms for many years and never been affected like this. It is not relaxing and won’t help sleep. Keep in the medicine cabinet.

If I could give it zero stars I would I used the warming body balm and ended up in a&E during this pandemic all the back of my leg was red raw and on a scale of 1-10 the pain was 11 it felt like my leg was on fire I use a lot of skincare and body products and have never ever experienced a reaction I will be seeking legal advice

I ordered several items at the end of November, these were to be delivered to a parcel shop near me by Hermes. The items were dispatched, but the parcel never arrived. Sanctuary then sent out a replacement order (in 2 parts), again both parcels were dispatched, neither arrived. All 3 appear to be lost in transit & Sanctuary are making me jump through hoops to get a refund processed. I now have to print out a form stating that I have looked all around the outside of my house & spoken to all of my housemates, whereas if Sanctuary just took the time to check the tracking information they would see that they’ve never attempted delivery to the parcel shop, the goods were never supposed to be delivered to my house. Shocking customer service.

Looks like an allergic reaction.

Each Christmas season I buy Sanctuary products for my wife from the High Street shops.
Because of Covid19 I have attempted to order online from their own website which is not at all user friendly and very poorly designed.
It also offers a 10% discount for first time orders, only none of the items I needed qualify! Discount codes are offered which don't work!
Reading reviews on this site and others, show that this is far from an exception. Does anyone get any discounts? It is sharp practice, items displayed should show that they are not subject to discount.
Only after placing the order is this revealed, I guess that most of us give in and place the order anyway.

Then EVENTUALLY the order arrives - no notification of it being dispatched, no packing slip, no return address information.
One of the presentation boxes was damaged and had been previously opened. Customer services(?) very slow to reply and not at all co-operative or helpful.
Having now signed up to the website I'm now bombarded with further discount(?) offers.

I note with interest that Sanctuary Spa has never found it necessary to reply to any of these reviews!

Back to the High Street next year.... hopefully some will survive.

Placed an order online and the website shows you get 10%off your first order. Emailed them to say I did not get the discount and they replied, the code is sent when you register for the newsletter ,which i did a few months ago so did not have it anymore.
They could see it was my first order but they couldn't process the discount manually, said I had to have the code.
Seems a pretty easy thing to do for other companies but they couldn't be bothered.
So I just cancelled the order.

I normally buy Sanctuary products from Boots or Sainsburys and had never thought to use their website until recently.
I was attracted by a number of offers and the fact that it seemed I would be able to get everything I wanted in one place.
I placed my order and was expecting to receive a free trial size gift pack after spending above the required minimum. I also qualified for a 10% discount on my first order but neither of these offers was applied to my basket when I reached the checkout.
I contacted their Customer Service Team and was advised simply that as far as the gift set was concerned my order "did not qualify". There was no further explanation, no engagement at all really.
I was advised that an amount equivalent to the 10% discount would be applied to my payment card as a refund, again no engagement.
When my order was received a few days later there was no packing slip - there was an item missing and it took four days for an email to be sent stating that it should be despatched within 48 hours.
There seems to be a weird time / space issue at Sanctuary, that 48 hours took over 3 weeks.......
I have given three stars because despite this I still love the products, but I think I'll take my chances and go back to Boots and Sainsburys.

The scrubs are really nice- especially if you sit in the steam room and use the product to scrub your skin. Good value for money. The scrubs smell lovely.

Bought the Sanctuary cream bath foam but find it has a chemical (petrol) smell at first. It has put me of using it now , I used to buy the travel sizes to take away but not anymore.

I was given the signature box for Christmas. The first time I used the shower gel and wet skin moisturiser I erupted in a nasty red lumpy rash all over my body. It has lasted for over a week. The cheap ingredients are not good for skin. I do not have the same reaction with skin products from other manufacturers. Do not recommend.

Nasty rash from using Sanctuary body moisture spray on my arms and legs - looks like a cross between sunburn and shaving rash. Needless to say really not impressed - what have they put in it to cause such as rash!

I have been able to get the full range as I think it is really nice, the only thing is that there is no talcum powder at all. Is it ever going to become available? Thank you

It smells woodsy like it's made for a man. There's nothing feminine about this smell. It's rancid smelling and isn't pleasant at all. I want my money back! Yuck!!!
