SAIA is by far the worst company to deal with for freight. This company had a driver show up at our shop, pick up equipment, the equipment was fraudulently charged and picked up. Our company found out what was going on and got the equipment stopped and requested to be returned due to everything about that shipment was fraudulent and the person that used fraud ordered the delivery. SAIA turned around and charged us over $1500 for a fraudulent shipment, order, and return!!! Will never use this company again and we ship things daily!

They called and told me that my delivery of a force USA, all in one trainer which weights 1200 pounds will be delivered between 12 and two.Great I called “Out Of the Box” who will assemble it. And made an appt. Well the delivery guy had a 48 foot tractor trailer back down a quarter-mile gravel road and then 300 feet into my driveway and unloaded a 3‘ x 3‘ package that said “one of two”!
SAIA told me that they can not find part 2. They blamed in on Force USA. Force told me that they use SAIA to deliver, and was not responsible.They were right!!
SAIA lost a 12,00 lb 8’ long package and couldn't find it!!
“Out of the Box” was annoyed, because they had scheduled to assemble it. They lost time and money. I had to text SAIA all that day asking when will it be delivered!!
I lost a day! And now I have to keep harassing SAIA for a delivery day, and schedule another assemble day!!
I lost time and money!!

Was over an hour late delivering and despite paying extra for this service, the grumpy driver did not deliver the item to the correct spot, saying "I have a schedule to keep".

Trying to bill be for 3 failed pick up attempts because they didn't follow instructions on the pickup order. Literally the worst experience I have ever had with a freight company, there is no end to how stupid their team is. The debt they are trying to collect should go to the seller, since they didn't pack a 150lb item correctly, and the package arrived in pieces. I refused delivery, and somehow now Saia is trying to collect a bill for the failed pick up attempts. The lowest IQ group of people I have ever interacted with.

Of all of the trucking companies our business has to deal with Saia is the worst. They will waste your time by telling you a.delivery might be on a certain day then make no effort whatsoever after wasting your day. If you have a choice, choose anyone else.

If there was an option for zero stars, I would’ve taken it. Six pallets were supposed to be delivered August 5 between 10 and 2 PM. At 2:30 PM I called to find out where the load was. It never made the truck and nobody called to tell me. August 6 appointment was made between 10 and two. Once again I called at 2:30 PM and it never made the truck and nobody called. Here I am August 7 with an appointment that they had given between 10 and two I called to see where the truck was and it will not be delivered until 6 PM. This is ridiculous. I’ll never use them again and I ship cost over $1 million a year.

Saia has consistently missed delivery dates by several days and even as much as two weeks. On top of their slow and unreliable deliveries, their customer service is very poor. They don't attempt to solve the problem or seem concerned about our delayed shipments. They are terrible business partner.

On Thursday, 7/11, I got a call from Saia to make an appointment for delivery of a pallet. The appointment was set for delivery between 11 AM and 3 PM on Friday. Since I had not gotten a call from their driver by 3 on Friday I checked their website and it stated delivery between 6 and 9 PM. An hour later that delivery window was changed to between 4 and 7 PM that Friday. By 6 PM however it said that the appointment had to be rescheduled. I wasted the whole day waiting for Saia to deliver. They should have had the courtesy to call.

they cut me off hwy 49 and a manager just hung up on me! MY son is sick!! how dare you!

My sissue is with Saia-pro and tribal They forgot to package my 2 front tires for a 125cc r2 atv I didn't open my package within the two days so basically I have to pay another shipping cost for there mistake straight garbage
Even the original date for the delivery kept changing they lost my package had it in another state twice had to rearrange things to accommodate them but the same can't be reciprocated.. if there shipping couriers

They gave us a shipping price and then sent us an email saying they changed their mind and tripled the price after a conversation they brought it back down We told them the item would not be available to ship until Tuesday They showed up Monday and where mad that it wasn't ready said they would be back Tuesday never showed up for a week called them to find out what was going on and they had canceled our shipping with out saying anything to us. Called them back got that ironed out they said it would be here in 3 days it's been 5 days...

Rediculas fee, expected more professionalism, the tracking system is the worst I have ever seen anywhere!!! Had better tracking systems from China!!! I have no idea where my package is at!! One time it will say it is in transit, next it is at the place of origin, then instantly it is at the destination location, then next update it is in transit again one says delivery date is 3-29 then the next it is 4-2 I can hardly wait to see what pops up next. I just hope it gets to where it is suppose to go this year

We like the drivers who deliver to our location! But the dispatchers and customer service people are indifferent to consignees. All of our orders from a Canadian supplier come to us on pallets--and must be delivered on a truck with a lift gate, which our supplier specifies for our deliveries. SAIA Denver never delivers our orders on a truck with a lift gate, which means we have to refuse delivery and they have to go back to their depot to offload and reload and redeliver. Often several days go by before they do this. This means our customer orders and inventory are always overdue, thanks to SAIA. And, they also ignore other instructions, like MUST NOT FREEZE. Last week they attempted a delivery on Friday, before a holiday weekend where we had sub-zero temperatures for 3 days. When we refused the delivery for no lift gate, our supplier contacted them with instructions to store the load on a heated trailer or dock. Did they do this? Absolutely not--they delivered 150 gallons of frozen product on Tuesday. For a business that sells products by the piece, having to open and examine 150 gallons of finish (one at a time) for the insurance claim reduces our profit to zero. Shame on SAIA! They are not a good business partner/ service provider--and they know it and are completely unapologetic.

They charge a re-consignment fee if you switch from having a delivery to a dock pickup. This makes zero business sense as I’m saving the company time, fuel, & they can complete other deliveries instead of worrying about my delivery. Genius CEO!

If possible, I’ll never use or recommend Saia again!

I have been working with SAIA for the past few months, and I must say that my recent experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. In the past 90 days, I entrusted them with my business worth a staggering $72,792.98, consisting of 153 shipments. Initially, my interactions with SAIA were excellent. They delivered shipments on time, and our pallets reached our customers in pristine condition, without a single rebill.

However, the tide turned dramatically in the past month. It's as if SAIA suddenly forgot how to do business. We were slammed with rebills for every single shipment, and the amounts were astronomically higher than the quotes we received. These charges seemed entirely bogus and unjustified, leaving us feeling cheated and frustrated.

But the horror didn't end there. SAIA quite literally took a chainsaw to our pallets. Pallets that once held our products securely were now cut open, and the aftermath was nothing short of a disaster. Our customers received shipments with loose, damaged, and even missing products. It's hard to believe that a professional shipping company could be so careless and reckless with our valuable cargo.

I've reached my breaking point with SAIA. The trust and reliability we once enjoyed have been shattered beyond repair. It's as if they deliberately sabotaged our shipments and gouged us with exorbitant charges. I cannot express my disappointment and frustration strongly enough. I am absolutely done with SAIA, and I urge anyone considering their services to think twice before entrusting them with your precious cargo. This experience has been a costly lesson in the perils of dealing with an unreliable and unprofessional company.

Had a appt for drop off, called 3hrs prior to appt said now or never, i couldnt make because i planned my day for the time the appt was for. They said they would be there at the appt time, no show no call no nothing, i looked at thracking and it said the shipment was returned to terminal at thestart of the time the appt was for. So they are liers when they said they would be at the appt, dishonest liers, plenty of other shippers to use. Check out there reviews pretty shoddy place

It took 5 weeks for a shipment to go from Southern California to Oregon via Chicago for some unknown reason. The crate was being held together with Saia branded straps. The crate had numerous forklift puncture holes. Here's the travel HISTORY

Terrible delivery company, scheduled delivery not delivered, no call to let me know it’s not coming, extremely frustrating. Extremely disappointing this NO delivery has cost me more money than the the swingset I purchased because of lost wages lost overtime
