I was receiving an LTL through Saia and they called and scheduled the appointment for the day it was supposed to arrive. Long story short they actually send it to the wrong state (they said is was their fault). A day later they scheduled another delivery appointment with me. It didnt show. I called to find out what happened and everyone all of a sudden didnt know what to do so after i asked t speak to a supervisor I got a lady named Tammy (denver location) and she was extremely rude, didnt say sorry or anything just kept saying she can cancel the shipment and send it back since its giving me so many problems. Obviously I wouldnt want it to be sent back but anyway lets see if it comes for the third appointment.

We ordered an 18' x 52" above ground pool from Lowe's, which was shipped from Las Vegas, Nevada, to our home in Northeast North Carolina, with several stops along the way. After reading reviews, we were a bit concerned, but our worries were clearly unnecessary. The pool arrived two days earlier than originally expected, and the packaging appeared to be in perfect condition! We haven't opened it yet, but it seems to have been a flawless delivery. The box was neatly secured to a pallet, and my husband met the driver out front with our tractor to move the box into our garage. Saia Freight driver called my office 5 minutes out to say he had a delivery for us. As our parking lot is too small, he had to park at our gate and walk less than 250 feet to our office. When he did so, he direct said he could not drive our forklift to remove the delivery. When I told him I had no one else to drive the forklift and move the delivery, he walked out and slammed our door. Once my back was turned and I was busy, he walked back in our office, through our warehouse, and got on our forklift without permission and without waiting to see if I could find someone to help out. He moved the delivery to the front of my building, left the forklift, and got back in his truck and left. He also flipped me the bird as he left. He was completely in the wrong for entering my warehouse without permission and using our forklift, not to mention he was extremely rude and nasty. I have his name and phone number.

I have never left a bad review about a company, I usually just suck it up and move on, but This is the worst shipping company out there. What a joke they are. Unable to follow simple directions, Incompetent lazy worthless drivers. Every delivery i have received from this company has had some issue, from losing my order, to taking 16 days to go from Arizona to California, to the drivers pulling up and driving off without knocking or ringing the bell. Do not use this company. They have several hundred bad reviews across multiple sites.

So much of my life span has been wasted by this companies tandem trailer drivers obstruction of the left lane. GET OUT OF THE LEFT LANE!

Like a lot of other folks I have had trouble with SAIA Shipping Company. When my tracking number didn't work I called them and they don't answer after four tries. The had a recording which said they were having difficulties and to call later.
Then I got a revised tracking number from the merchant and that did not work on their site, either. First the merchant gave a date of arrival, then they gave me a week later arrival date. This company appears to be unreliable. It's very frustrating for the tracking numbers not to work and not to be able to contact the shipping company.

This is the 2nd time in 6 months that Saia is attempting to "re-rate" me.... meaning they want to charge additional monies on top of the original quote. On the first one, they tried to charge me an additional $562 saying that dimensions given to them were not correct. I just happened to still have the shipment intact in my warehouse and was able to "prove", with pictures, that the information they were touting was an outright lie. They backed right down. Now they are trying it again within 6 months. This company will try to outright "scam" you and bilk you out of more money. Don't trust them. Worst LTL company that I've had to deal with!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I'm in North Dakota and ordered something from Seattle. It was picked up on 4th and estimated delivery date at that time was the 12th, then it changed to the 11th, then the 13th. Now it says to call Customer Service for delivery date. When I called Customer Service (she was actually quite pleasant), she told me the trailer was being loaded at a terminal 3-1/2 hours away from me and its next stop would be at the destination terminal which is 45 minutes from me but probably wouldn't get there until the 17th. It's the 13th now and it's going to take 4 days to go 250 miles? I will never use this company again. 13 days to go from Seattle to 2 states over. Ridiculous

They do not care about anything, especially the customer. The customer service phone line is worthless. I totally agree with other reviews on this platform...their delivery policies are completely unreasonable, they are not accurate on weight, length, they reweigh and decide on whatever length they see that works for them. Not considerate of the customers time at all.....you are on their schedule and only their schedule. Cover yourself take pictures, measure and weigh again if possible. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRUCKING COMPANY.

Completely unreasonable policies designed to rip off customers anyway they can. We've been a customer with SAIA for decades and it's finally time to stop putting up with their nonsense.

Worst shipping company I have ever I have business with, the online system is not professional and my package took forever to get delivered. My first and last time to do business with this company. I rather do business with professional companies.

I ordered a rear bumper cost me over 500 dollars and it's just sitting in the back of there truck not in a box sliding around its scratched nicked. Horrible shipper becareful don't use this company.

SAIA has never picked up our load. First attempt, driver would not wait and was very rude. SAIA supposedly scheduled a second attempt but has yet to pick up. We had good luck earlier this summer but this fiasco has us scrambling to another carrier!

Saia advertises great rates through brokers but then ALWAYS does a fake reweigh, often with a Class change, that results in a much higher price than you would have chosen from the list of carriers. Will never use them again,

This is the worst freight company ever I have used them 3 times and they are never on time with pick up or delivery by days not hours. Worst management ever when it comes to customer service. One shipment I had to go and pick up at there warehouse or wait two weeks for a truck to come my way

Very good. The guy who delivered our shipment yesterday with Pro Number | 12082061210 was friendly and took great care of the goods, making sure everything touched the ground safely.

I will definitely use this company again for all future shipments.

Want to give our delivery driver a 5 star review! Richard Pulaski went above and beyond to make a delivery to us. Our driveway was closed and he went on google maps and found a path we were using to get in. When he saw he couldn't get the semi through the pathway he walked over and found one of us. We were able to take a forklift over to where he parked and get the pallet.

Saia delivered a 1100 lb piece of equipment that was on a custom made wooden pallet for this equipment. It was delivered, but there was significant damage to the pallet under the machine. Upon receivers inspection, the machine was damage in multiple spots requiring replacement part, repainting and many weeks of hassle getting it back to acceptable. The machine still has damage to the frame. Based on further inspection, it appears they lifted the pallet with a for lift, but didn't lift it level. Instead they lifted the front of the forks only, causing all the weight to be on one cross member of the pallet, which broke and the forks made contact with the machine in at least 3 spots. They never reported their fork lift drivers mistake, we know they knew since they threw the broken pieces of the pallet in the bed of the machine and delivered the broken pieces of wood. Horrible company.

SAIA was inept in getting us a simple albeit important delivery. Worse is the offensive and insulting behavior of their Charlotte employees who interrupt and insult customers at will. Our company rep was called a liar and told that SAIA was trying to help and if she did not want to accept the help that was her problem. The only number available leads you to employees who protect each other while behaving in an outrageous manner by not letting you speak to any of their supervisors. The problem was the window of delivery changed three times which happens, but no one from the company would keep us informed of the changes which caused us undue delay and money. When trying to get someone to take over the delivery other than the ones who had been handling it, we were put into dead air and disconnected. We were never able to contact any member of their management. We will use someone else going forward.

We have had several disputes with re-rating shipments mid-transit. Example picked up in Seattle but not re-rated in Seattle, re-rated in Salt Lake City, and then delivered in DFW. We have been disputing ~$5000 dollars in over-charges while at the same time requesting $3200 in damage done to our freight. This has been going on over 14 months.

They stopped talking to us and sent us to collections over the dispute of $5000 about 6 weeks ago. The collections law firm is less than professional and more than aggressive in how they talked to us.

Then shortly after Saia sent us to collections they offered us $1000 dollars to cover the damages for the freight they damaged, not the $3200 we proved they damaged. Worth noting they made us resubmit the claim paperwork for the damages over 8 times throughout the 14+ months.

The Saia team overall was polite on the phone but not all that helpful, there are no decision makers available to speak with. Hard to get a hold of them unless they call you. We will not be doing business with them again. There are plenty of other LTL providers who provide better service, are more reasonable, more accurate, and have significantly better technology.
