If I could rate them 0 stars I would. Delayed delivery 4 times already with absolutely no explanation. I still dont have the delivery and quite honestly I dont even expect it at all at this point. Would never recommend this company. I dont understand how they are still in business to be honest.

My merchandise arrived with damages clearly done by the fact that the items were moved on a multiple drop load and not properly restabilized . We wrapped the item and still the damages were very intense .worst part is that they are just saying that they will not cover the damages because there is no evidence that it was caused by them . very poor service . never again

Saia was late delivering and artificially increased the load weight by an extra 500lbs. The issue here is that the amount charged was on 4 Totes. Their weigh scale said there was 280 gallons in each 275 Gallon IBC tote, which is impossible. Disputed 3 times with documentation they ignored and denied each time.

Y'all better be careful out here on the highway because trucks beginning with the number 29 and 27 will dam near run you off the road just to get over and pass you when it's not even their lane to pass in so yall be careful for these dumazzes! Next time, my dash cam will make sure that I pick up an accident caused by your company FROM THEIR RECKLESSNESS 💯

When I got my load. It had something fall on it. Bent over 1000 dollars worth of damage. Dothan al office told me they have already took pictures and sent it in. the code they gave me was the driver code. They lied and said it was the code to my report. When I called siai office to get help.they told me that there was nothing wrong with my load.

I wouldnt even give this company a 1. The driver was very rude. And threatened to drop our pallets in the middle of the road.
I know most truckers have a fowl mouth but most would watch what they say around children. Joshua Mears did not care that my granddaughter was there. (Using the "f" word every other word out of his mouth)
If he cant drive a truck he needs to find another job! We have brought 37 foot trailer with a truck and no issues.

One star is too many! They emailed a date but came a day early after I spoke to Rachel at Saia 5 days earlier and elected the option to be home for my large vanity. delivery. No call from them and they dropped vanity in my driveway 9 inches from my garage door instead of allowing me to open the doors. What an unprofessional company!

Two shipments. Quoted a decent price, right in there with other carriers....then I get the bill and it is almost double the quote. Reweigh they say. Prove it they say....why don't you prove you didnt have 3 guys on the scale with you!

One pallet from our freight shipment was delivered, but the second pallet, containing critical components needed to fulfill prepaid customer orders, was not delivered and has still not been located.

We were not notified in advance that part of the shipment was missing. We only discovered the issue when the delivery arrived incomplete. Since then, we have received very little meaningful information beyond being told that the shipment is “under investigation.”

This missing pallet has directly affected our small business, our production schedule, and our customers. We have had to repeatedly contact Saia for updates, but we still do not have a clear explanation, timeline, or path toward resolution.

I understand that freight issues can happen, but the lack of urgency, transparency, and communication has been extremely frustrating. When a shipment problem impacts a small business this significantly, customers need more than vague status updates.

No contact. was supposed to receive a call to schedule a appointment for delivery. just got an appointment assigned to me. took the day off of work to make it happen.

I didnt receive any texts or updates at all the whole day, until 3pm telling me the appointment was rescheduled for 3 days from now

They deserve a zero! Totally screwed me.......... now i have to pay hundreds to return a damaged item because their driver sucks and pulled a fast one and lied..........don't trust them.

Saia Refused to take responsibility

Do not book with Saia. I have had multiple shipments recently with them where now that everything is density based they keep claiming the dims we book at are incorrect. I'm talking the difference of a few inches in height on some pallets and they try to charge $100-$200 for each shipment they claim has a pallet or two with incorrect dims. Our warehouse measures each pallet before shipping out. We used to never get these type of variances until recently when they made everything density based. It is just a way for them to quote you lower on the front end and charge you hidden fees on the backend even when you book with the correct information. I have been getting variances on roughly 60% of the shipments I have booked with them. Our warehouse has a scale and measures each pallet so there should be no variances. I don't even get this many with the Central Transports of the world. It feels borderline unethical and there is no way to fight them which I'm sure was their goal when they started giving these out in the first place.

But she also was willing to go above and beyond to resolve an issue for me without me even asking. She single-handedly will keep me coming back to Saia for freight needs. Thanks Juanita

I wish I could give zero stars. So, I’ve had five deliveries by them now. Every single one has been an absolute disaster. Every single one of my deliveries requires that ‘they call me to set up a scheduled time to deliver ‘ because they are heavy and on pallets. Guess what? They just randomly show up and drop a heavy pallet with tile in the middle of my driveway, in the snow, and I have no idea the delivery is coming. No phone call, no email, no text, no pre-scheduled delivery that they are supposed to do. this has happened with three of my deliveries from them where they show up unannounced and don’t even try or attempt to schedule the delivery with me that they are supposed to do. I can’t move a pallet from the middle of my driveway. That’s 800 pounds. Two of my deliveries took multiple weeks because I called them ahead of time and pre-rescheduled a delivery drop off. Guess what happened there? They didn’t show up for their scheduled date and time. No call no show. Then the next day rules around, I call to follow up and make a scheduled delivery again. That next scheduled delivery was another no call no-show. Honestly, no one should be doing business with this company.

Terrible, terrible customer service. This company cannot operate a pallet jack.

Showed up in the 5 hour window driving and 18 wheel semi truck, but driver could not unload kitchen cabinets because the pallet jack and 8’ long pallet would not fit on the lowering lift. Driver would not unload individually because he said he had to get to another Business for a pick up and they would reschedule tomorrow. The office said they would be there at 9 o’clock in the morning and it’s now 5 o’clock in the evening, and I haven’t heard a word from him since his company. I highly recommend not to use and if you’re a customer request a different delivery company because they have no basic logic in the office of what’s going on out in the field.

Wreckless driver almost ran us off the road trying to get into the right lane from the left lane. Driver honked aggressively and proceeded to force us onto the shoulder instead of accelerating to safely pass us or wait until we passed and there was room to make the lane switch.

I used their online freight calculator and when the bill arrived it was more than double almost triple. I filed a dispute but they declined to adjust it. They charged an extra $77 for it taking more than 30 min for us to sign the BOL. It took longer, because some of the materials were damaged and it takes time to check this out.
I would not recommend that shippers use online freight calculators, this is the 2nd time I have been burned by using one.

They showed up a day late for the pickup and delivered 2 days late. Then try to up the charges.
