I thought I was booking on Premier Inn website and was charged £443 for 2 nights.
On arrival at the hotel they had 2 rooms in my name but no payment. I had to pay £269 direct to premier inn.
Could not contact reservation stays by phone. I did manage some email contact but have not had any refund and now am being ignored.
SCAM
I made a reservation via telephone, asked 3 times if the Resort Fee was included, and was told that everything was included. Then I called the hotel directly, and the hotel told me that this was not true, when I called them back they told me that I had to pay the Resort fee and that they were not going to give me the money back or assume that cost.

If i could give a zero star i would. I’m still in the process of getting either the refund from the hotel where i booked through this company, or they send the money to the hotel! It’s like going back and forth with them. Unbelievable, i would have to go through my bank to dispute the charge through Reservation stay. Be aware, don’t book
deceptive business practice
deceptive business practice, excessively overcharged current room rate from Hampton Inn hotels, also when calling number on Hampton Inn google site, call was diverted to them and only identified themselves when answering as Reservations, while I was under impression i was calling Hampton Inn directly. charges were $429.81 above Hampton Inn room rates for 2 rooms, also the reservationist with ReservationStays attempted to book me with hotel in California which was never requested and was successful in booking rooms under my name and credit card to a hotel in country of Panama which I had no request for or connection to, if I hadn't received confirmation from that hotel, would have been charge non refundable room plus fee from ReservationStays. I was able to call directly to hotel to cancel. with no avail Customer service with ReservationStays would not offer any resolution of my concerns of excessive overcharge, adding booking to hotels that i did not request placing me at risk for future non refundable fees and not identifying themselves correctly when call was diverted to them from number that indicated directly to Hampton Inn locality number. I have filed report with Consumer Protection agency, my credit card company and also notified Hampton Inn customer service (Hilton). Hampton Inn apparently partners with them in some fashion but Hilton customer service offered no recommendations or solution. Consumer be ware of these deceptive business practices. my credit card company fraud departement representative indicated they were aware of ReservationStays over charging practices from prior complaints. Please help with strength in numbers bringing ReservationStays to justice for deceptive business practices.

I booked a non-refundable room while traveling with my 98 year old father with the understanding (verbalized MULTIPLE TIMES by the agent) that the property had an elevator so my father could access it. A few minutes after completing the booking, the agent called back to tell me he was sorry and was in error, but there was no elevator. I have his message on my voicemail. The booking was totally useless to me as my father cannot clim stairs. I repeatedly asked reservationstays.com to correct their error by covering the associated fees. They’re exceedingly difficult to reach customer support consisted of asking the property owner to make an exception and not charge 90% for no-show/cancellation (in my case $630). The property owner declined- I agree it wasn’t his fault or problem. Reservationstays.com is unwilling to stand behind their employee’s serious error and cover my costs. They should NOT be trusted with your money or business.
This website is a scam
This website is a scam. I thought I was in the hotel booking site. I made a simple mistake with the check-in date and reservationsstay refused to change or cancel the reservation. I will have to dispute the charge with the credit card company. Do NOT use reservationsstays.
Be very careful as to what website you are actually on when making your reservation.
Was attempting to check out of my hotel earlier than originally scheduled, when I was informed by the hotel that my room was booked under a credit card, different than mine. The hotel wouldn't refund my money because the room wasn't charged to my credit card. They have you in a catch-twenty-two situation. Reservation Stay's response was; "thank you for reaching out. This is Jannah from Reservation Stays. I understand that you want to request for early checkout and get a partial refund. No worries, I am glad to help. Upon checking the policy on your booking, this is non-refundable and non-amendable that's why we cannot proceed with your request. We highly suggest you contact the hotel to overturn the decision". The hotel stated the reservation was non-refundable because it was purchased under a different credit card. My inquiry was closed by Reservation Stays at that point with no further options for a refund.
Scam site
I made a booking on this site for a hotel in Thailand. The cost was the same that for the direct booking at the hotel. Once the confirmation came from reservationstay.com they wrote that the hotel will charge an additional extra 30% on top of the standard price. It is a scam site, never use it.

My husband somehow ended up on their site when he thought he was booking through Embassy Suites. They overcharged for the room, charged 50% tax and fees, and he didn't see the total charge until the PayPal receipt came through.
He never received a booking email, nothing showing the hotel name, date, location, amounts, etc to use to submit to the travel insurance. They don't answer emails or the phone. We will have to submit a chargeback claim via the credit card/Paypal.
Total scam artists.
Do Not be Fooled into using this site
Do not use this site. It misdirects from the hotel you are trying to book with and then makes a non-refundable booking without any notice at all that it is non-refundable. This is a shameful scam and i urge you not to be a victim.

Stuck at the airport with a cancelled flight and booked with the reservationstays.com from my cell phone and did a typo for the dates. Spent 3 hours on the phone to correct the typo and they wanted nothing to do with it.
Online support, telephone support - freaking nothing.
Their site states all kinds of flexibility - but as we all know actions are louder than words and their words are lies. I will continue to slander them at every chance I get.
By the way, be careful when booking with what you think is the actual hotel on a web search - it is often these second / third rate companies who scam folks.
The worst
The worst. The room was $131 per night. Charged $480 for 2 nights. Asked for a walk-in shower. Not handled. I've asked to have them listen to my phone call. Don't think they were authorized to book. I didn't want it booked because they wouldn't do a cancellation.
Don't think of booking with this lousy company. Hopefully, they will eventually lose the ability to continue business. If there were negative stars that would be more appropriate. Miserable every which way.

the day before check in, they had not booked the reservation at the hotel. Many phone calls and emails and without resolution. Their customer service line has a waiting que of 146 calls. Had to call the sales line to get through.
Made reservation through them
Made reservation through them. They lied to me about being the Hotel I wanted. Made reservation at a Canadian Hotel. I live in USA. Was quoted rate in Canadian dollars but when they processed the payment it was made in US dollars. US dollars are 1.3 better than Canadian. SO was over charged b about $300 US dollars for the bill. Would not answer the phone about this. Worst service there is.

Total scam. Reservations can't be cancelled for any reason including illness. No one ever answers the phone at customer service and you are automatically disconnected. Have to contact customer service by ignored email. Save your money. Use another service.

Avoid like the plague. I've spent hours trying to get my hotel receipt and still don't have it. I need it for my companies business report. They act as a middle man, take money and do nothing. Please avoid, call the hotel directly.
