They took my fully refundable reservation and reservation stay changed it to non refundable -
I called them Reservation Stay - they told me to email them - When i emailed them it took 4 day respond to only told me that I was late (date of original reservation) should have taken place
its now 8 weeks post the reservation and they continue (Reservation stay) continues to tell me the reservation is cancelled -- they kept my money and refuse to refund me.

Charged us $1250 extra. Almost 1000 just in taxes and fees above the actual price without our permission and every day since keep charging 100 more on our card. Who the heck are you ppl? We've cancelled the credit card so you can kiss that scam goodbye. How dare you do this to ppl. Over $5000 for 2 nights at a Marriott? I don't think so. Have fun trying to put another bogus charge on our card tomorrow. It's gone and so is the money you almost stole from us. Bunch of scammers.

While travelling for work, had an on-line search for the hotel i chose to stay at.
The first link that came up was in fact the hotel that i wanted to stay at however, after dialing the number and confirming a reservation, received my booking confirmation. Not only did they state there would be no refunds for whatever the circumstance but i was getting charged in US dollars... in Canada.
There is a customer service that you can reach and they will claim to be on your side and get you a refund however, the steps that they want you to take are not common business practice. Doomed.
Stay away. They are a scam.

Company made fraudulent claim that they reserved room with The Hilton Garden Inn when I arrived at the hotel they did not have a reservation for me and I had to pay again. Contacted company who ensured me of I sent them my invoice I would be refunded. No such refund ever took place. FRAUD SCAM STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! I am proceeding with filling charge dispute with my back as well as reporting their unethical practices to the BBB

I by mistake made a reservation for a hotel with them . When I tried to cancel the reservation and get a refund they basically force you to use an On Line Refund site that is not user friendly and basically will not give a refund for any reasonable option .. Stay Away from them

Phone number comes up as the hotel you are searching. The know to answer the phone stating the hotel name. Offer the sale rate or a few dollars less than the hotel. Do not state they plan to charge you in usa dollars. Called 5 times. Filled out all their forms and lied to everytime.
Told the hotel and visa. Both company's are not protecting their customers from this company Fraudulent practices.

Reservationstays.com should be put out of business for illegal practices - fraud & scam. Reservation on 5/29/2024. I made it clear that I was intended to be discussing my reservation with Holiday Inn and was never corrected. I thought I was getting a slightly better rate than the website for hotel because I was calling directly. I made it abundantly clear it needed to be easily cancelled because my 102 year old mother ill. I was repeatedly assured it could easily be cancelled and even paid an extra $32 to be able to cancel up to the date of arrival. When I realized I had accidentally reserved for the wrong Portland airport Holiday Inn I called Holiday Inn to change it and that is when I learned I had booked with a "third party". I emailed support@reservationstays and was told "booking is classified as non-refundable and non-amendable" and "policy was outlined both on the booking form and again on the confirmation page". I did not see a booking form as it was a phone call and the confirmation page was emailed after the fact. I filed complaint with BBB, FTC & my AG and dispute on credit card.

I thought I was talking to Marriott to book a room. They booked a room for me at a Hilton. When I arrived at the hotel the front desk clerk asked for my confirmation. When I started with “ B’ he said they never start with a “ B’- I showed him my confirmation email and we called these jokers back right then. They still stayed even to the clerk that they made a reservation. I was forced to pay for another room. The next morning when I checked out I checked again to see if they ever received said reservation. It took them 3 days to post their fraudulent charge on my credit card. I called them and was told to go to their wesite to fill out a form to request a refund and post my receipt of the room that I paid for so they could refund their reservation. FUNNY because there is no form to fill out. After speaking to 3 different people and with zero luck I contested it with my credit card. Oh and their booking was $179.69 — my booking cost me $146.18. DO NOT USE - and why do I see so many people saying they thought they were calling Marriott just like me. IF I could give it negative stars I would.

Booked then had a SMS late at night saying contact the accommodation owner ( who was a manager/employer of a company that has the accommodation) stated the booking been cancelled by mistake but hey would keep the booking if I put the money into their account directly as what I paid would be in my account into 2 days ,booking was for 3 days away Asked amount and they said $422 felt I didn't pay that much so checked bank and I had paid $377 contacted him and he said ok make it $377 he said the 422 wS because that's what includes whst they pay Stayz . Felt it was a con so booked other accommodation
These people lied to me
These people lied to me. I thought I was talking to a representative from Marriott.
1- they never disclosed the name of their company, until after I paid.
2- Reservations Stay said I could cancel or change 48 hours before arrival. I called 72 hours prior and they said I could not make a change.
3-Marriott can not confirm if I have a reservation ahead of time.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. In October 2023 I booked accommodation in Premier Inn Maidenhead UK form the 25 and 26 April 2024 and paid in what I thoughtwas AUD but turned out to be USD. (I did not realise this at the time). I was sent by email a booking voucher to present to the hotel on arrival.
When we arrived at the hotel on 25th April 2024 they had the booking but said that we had not yet paid and that they did not recognie or accept the booking voucher.
Further on checking their reservations they told us that rooms had been booked in our name (for the same dates) and cancelled on 3 previous occasions and that they did have credit card number that they were to charge the room to on our arival.
This credit card number was not ours and had been provided by the persons who had made the booking. However Premier Inn was unable to say who had made the reservation in our name.
Eventually Premier Inn able to charge the credit card that had been provided with the reservation and we did not have to pay again.
But on enquiring about the cost we noted that we had paid double the price for the room

I unwittingly was directed to reservations stays when booking at a resort in Borrego Springs, CA. The stay was for 3 days. The cost over $1,000. Checking out the hotel invoice showed a charge of $$605. Reservation Stays took a commission of $407 for 3 days. I requested a refund which was denied. The response "we charge a MODEST fee to cover business expenses." No one should book with this company. I have little recourse, it seems, except to warm others about such scams.

I'm now realizing I was scammed or at the least chosen a sub par booking company. I had searched for hotels near my grandson's college. I found one that appeared to have vacancies and it was a Hilton. Unwittingly, I used the number to contact an agent who booked the rooms for me thinking it was a Hilton representative. There were extra fees for the ability to cancel days before my arrival. I was to travel with pets and that fee was added to the invoice which was to be paid up front. Foolishly I paid $472 up front.
days ago, I needed to make a change and they have ghosted me. I reached someone on the phone number who spoke very little English. I send two e-mails to no avail. I finally contacted the hotel directly, and they did find the reservation but tell me I will owe $154 for the room as they have not received the payment. My only hope to get the $472 reimbursed is to file a dispute/claim with American Express and hope that gets results. I travel next weekend I suspect I will have to pay the $154 to have a room.

They lie to you about the rates. We were specifically told we would be given the Government rate once our paper work was turned in. They lied and now are claiming that they can doing nothing after charging us with out the discount. Now they say we don’t have Government Rates. The why did you tell us you did when we were booking the room. We never would have booked the room without the Government Rate.

I hate to say that I am another victim of these scammers. I booked a night at a hotel on my way to Denver CO. I specifically requested a 1st floor room due to my disabilities and physical limitations, which I explained. If anyone in that "company" listens to the "agent", he guaranteed 3 times to me, in the conversation, that he requested at the hotel my special accommodations and was guaranteed!!! When I arrived at the hotel, no 1st floor room, and they stated that they were never contacted by anyone in reference to my requirement. I ended up going to another hotel and when I requested a refund due to their lies, and the fact I couldn't use the reservation, all they said is that the reservations are not refundable. Total abuse against an elderly disable person and a consumer.
