Same as others. Looks like the website for the hotel and even if you select the refund option and pay extra. you can't get a refund. I even tried 15 minutes after booking realizing it wasn't through the hotel. Do not give them your money.

Terrible and a scam. I “booked” a room in the morning, arrived that evening, no room. No booking, hotel said it was a scam. Reported asap to the bank. Numerous emails to this company, various excuses and no refund. Beware!

Total scam. Showed up posing as the Marriott’s site and my wife didn’t notice until she had booked and then didn’t see the booking in her Marriott app. We called Amex fraud department and I just reported them to FBI IC3. Hope they’re within jurisdiction, but probably not. Don’t use!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY to book hotel rooms, The wouldn't let me cancel my reservations, They stole my money. I not staying at the hotel I booked through them they refuse to refund me,

Hard to even give one star. They should be closed down. Worst customer service ever, and in all honestly big scam. Go through Expedia or TripAdvisor or the hotel / airline itself. Never use this site. Ever.

Scam!! Same as everyone else - thought i was booking direct through Hilton!! Will not refund and also even add taxes on! Really unhelpful customer services too who cannot read emails, they just reply without actually bothering to read what you have written. I didn't even want to cancel, i just wanted to downgrade due to the taxes they added on! I dealt with Shubham who has terrible customer service skills!

I, like everyone else here, was scammed by this company. I looked up a particular hotel and their site came up first, looking exactly like the hotel website. You don't realize what has happened until it's too late. I cannot say it enough---do not use these people, they are scammers!

The websites they use are very misleading and make you believe you are booking directly through the hotel webpage. Should you need to modify your reservation, you can't. I accidently booked through them because the website said starts wminneapolisfoshay making it look like you were booking with the mariott directly. They even have the mariott logo at the top of their booking. Very different from when you know you are booking thought a third party such as expedia, hotels.com, ect. Do not use.

My flight was cancelled by the airlines the day before we were to check in to the hotel in Florida. I spoke to multiple "people" at this company and showed proof the flights were cancelled because of a hurricane which is considered a weather event beyond human control. Immediately they showed they wouldn't cancel the reservations and credit back my credit card. I spoke to the hotel manager directly and was told they refunded back to this company the funds for the stay. They kept the money from the hotel and from my credit card company. They are thieves and make every effort to rob people. Also, looking further into this company it should be noted they are in a questionable country with a horrible reputation. I have filed a complaint with the attorney generals office in my state and further with the Washington US office. They are considered scammers. Avoid them at all costs. They don't even deserve 1 star. This business must be closed down.

Similar to others experiences, their booking process was very deceptive. I thought I had called the hotel directly in Sydney (Australia), being in Sydney myself at the time. But when I checked if the person I was talking to was at the hotel, he said vaguely that they 'took care' of the hotels bookings ...I should have been suspicious then and there. They quoted me a very good one night price but later when I checked my credit card it was $100 more than quoted. When I called them and then went back to an email they had sent after the fact, I saw they had charged me in US dollars, which they had never stated or confirmed. I wrote to them persistently to complain and they said they would listen to the recording of the booking. They came back to me and said the US dollars was quoted but did not confirm that they had listened to the recording and regardless, I am 100% certain that they did not quote in US dollars (the operator had asked me specifically if I was in Sydney at the time), because if it had been mentioned I would not have taken the booking. I told the hotel about the issue and there was nothing they said they could do. It seems to me that hotels should be looking at permissions given to third parties to make bookings as their reputations are also on the line.
I reported the transaction to my bank immediately and they investigated and eventually refunded me the booking amount, which also involved cancelling my credit card.
This has taught me a good lesson. I will double check that I am always calling the accommodation directly from now on.

Reservation does not clearly lay out the price you are paying and what currency. They listed a security deposit in the reservation in CAD, masking the fact that the rest of the transaction was in USD. The price ended up being 40 more than the current rack rate of the hotel.

Total scam like everyone else said. I booked a hotel for one night, they double charge me and would not give me a refund. Avoid at all cost, this place should be reported!

What a joke these guys are. They go to great extent to hide their 3rd party status and prices are completely unreliable. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

Total Scammers! Thought we were booking directly through the Westin Sarasota, only to find out it was through Reservationstays. We were unable to travel due to coming down with bad case of Covid. The Westin understandably cancelled our reservation with NO charge. Having said that reservation stays denied us any refund/no exceptions. They kept our $1229.35! We went through the proper steps for cancellation and uploaded official Dr. note and diagnosis confirming Covid cannot travel instructions. Knowing they did not pay the Westin a single dime with our money. They denied us a refund! Completely unethical!! Terrible company and so frustrating that they exist and continue to scam! Beware!!

I asked the staff member if they had king suites with a hot tub in them. She said "we have queen room." I said I'm looking for a king room with a hot tub in it due to my disability. She said she would check. After being on hold, she returned telling me there was a king room. I asked for clarification "is there a hot tub in the room?" She said Yes. Upon arrival to the hotel the check in staff stated that the room we have booked has NO hot tub. And that there was a "request for a hot tub!" What the hell did I pay extra for then!
Instead of telling me she couldn't help me Chhaya (if that was even her name), she lied. Also Reservation Stays had a Hampton Inn insignia, which is very misleading to customers. I would never book anything with them again!!

Same as all the others. DO NOT BOOK WITH RESERVATIONSTAYS.COM…NO MATTER WHAT! Check to make sure you’re not inadvertently booking thru this or another third party. It’s not worth it to save a few $$$. You WILL regret it. While I’m at it, my experience with ResStays.com has led me to have a dim view of TripAdvisor, too.

If I could give reservationstays.com a lower star I would. This is a SCAM and I’m here to warn others not to use them. We booked a room and got to the hotel to check in and there was no front desk clerk to check us in. We waited for over 30 minutes. We called reservation stays to ask for a different hotel because we couldn’t check in and we were told it was nonrefundable. How can I be charged for a hotel room that I can’t even check into? They are definitely in another country because you can hear roosters and other background noises that let you know real quick that this is not a legitimate company. We stayed on the phone with them for hours and still got no where. They finally did direct us to a refund form to fill out but you have to go around the world and back to get all the information needed and then if the refund is granted they keep 30.00 of it as a fee for giving you back your own money. Plain and simple - please do yourself a favor and save yourself the trouble DO NOT USE - SCAMMERS

A total dishonest and scam operation.
They charged me $1600 for a 2 room 2 bathroom suite in Fairmont Chateau Whistler and where we got there, the hotel said they only booked us a 1 room and 1 bath suite which was only $850/night and when I called Reservations Stay, they said “Sorry, the room was non-refundable”. That’s a total scam and my bank advised that I report them to the police for scamming and I will be doing that as well as a sign the credit card company for a refund. Horrible people. Beware!

let me clear this out.
of what i have noticed when you try to call up to connect to the hotel. you will reach reservation stays be it any 3-4 star hotel.
i dont think this is a legitimate practice of doing business.
plus their rates are almost twice the other agency.
plus if you see the price the taxes and fees are almost 40-50%
