If I could give them a minus 10 I…
If I could give them a minus 10 I would. They are scam. The website is so misleading I thought I was on the Best Western reservation website. I booked the room and included the "recommended" upgrade to be able to cancel up to a few days before the stay. The site said I could cancel for free for 24 hours. It did not indicate that I could not cancel the upgrade at all. I called within and hour to cancel when I figured out it was not the Best Western website. They refused to cancel the $127 "upgrade". I consider this to be fraud in the inducement. Do not use this website!!
Same as everyone else
Same as everyone else. My wife booked a 3 night stay at the Hyatt House London Stratford for a total cost of $1,171.49, which was supposed to include breakfast:
$257.78/night x 3 nights
Refundable upgrade: $107.00
Taxes & Fees: $311.15
Discount: $20.00
It doesn't include breakfast and is non-refundable despite the "upgrade." I could have booked this room through Delta for a total of $819. That's when I found out the reservation is non-refundable.
## STAY FAR, FAR AWAY! This "Hotel Booking" Site is a SCAM and a THIEF!
Let me preface this by saying: **DO NOT, under any circumstances, book anything through this website!** This is not a legitimate hotel booking platform; it's a cleverly disguised scam designed to steal your money. I unfortunately learned this the hard way and am writing this review as a desperate warning to others.
From the outset, the website looked somewhat convincing. It had professional-looking layouts, enticing pictures of hotels, and even seemingly legitimate reviews (which I now suspect are fabricated). I found a hotel that appeared to fit my needs and proceeded with the booking process. Everything seemed normal until the payment stage.
**This is where the first massive red flag appeared.** Instead of being charged in my local currency (AUD, given I'm in Victoria, Australia), the payment was processed in USD without informing this on the booking page.
Foolishly, in my haste, I proceeded with the payment. This was a HUGE mistake. Not only was the exchange rate unfavorable, costing me significantly more than the advertised price, but **I never received any booking confirmation.** My attempts to contact them again were met with silence.
This website is a phishing operation.** They lure you in with the promise of easy hotel bookings, then hit you with unexpected foreign currency charges and vanish with your money, leaving you with no actual reservation.
Here's a summary of why you should avoid this website like the plague:
* **Deceptive Practices:** They present themselves as a legitimate booking site but are anything but.
* **Foreign Currency Scam:** Charging in a foreign currency without clear explanation is a major red flag and a way to inflate the cost.
* **Non-Existent or Unhelpful "Customer Service":** They are unresponsive or provide vague answers to avoid accountability.
* **Potential for Data Theft:** Given their fraudulent nature, I wouldn't be surprised if they are also harvesting your personal and financial information.
**I have reported this website to the relevant authorities and strongly urge anyone who has been scammed by them to do the same.** Please, learn from my mistake and stick to reputable and well-known hotel booking platforms.
**This website is a danger to consumers and should be shut down immediately.** Save yourself the frustration, the financial loss, and the potential security risks. **DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!** You have been warned.
Below 1, I give Reservation Stays a -10!
As mentioned in other reviews, Reservation Stays is a scam. They're website looks just like the Hyatt website. I booked through them thinking I was on the Hyatt website. I discovered the fraudulent copy of the website within 10 minutes of the booking. I had added an additional fee to the cost of the room in order to be able to cancel within two days of the stay. Since I had not booked anything with Hyatt for over a year, I thought this was a new charge, so I accepted it. It was added to the itemized charges for the room, taxes, and fees, When I called to cancel the reservation, they said they could not refund that part of the fee. They claimed it was a separate charge, but it was not shown upfront to be a type of insurance like Allianz. I know when you buy insurance like that, it is not refundable upon cancelation. This fee was not shown in any way to be insurance. I spoke to a floor manager, Mander, who stuck to the claim that this $53.00 charge was non-refundable. If I could give Reservation Stays a -10, I would!
SCAM SCAM SCAM !!!
SCAM SCAM SCAM !!!!
I thought I was booking through the hotel and I paid extra for “insurance”. I had a death in the family and I’m unable to get my refund. They’re giving me the run around, hanging up the phone, posing as real websites and denying me the ability to speak to a supervisor. I have been on the phone, emailing and calling different companies for DAYS. Never receiving a real confirmation from the resort, just a voucher. This is absurd!!!!!
Sunil is a great representative
Sunil is a great representative. He helped me find many options with great pricing. I definitely recommend this website and speaking with Sunil. 10/10 experience!
Reservation stays charged me in US…
Reservation stays charged me in US dollars for a booking in Australia from an Australian booking. cost me 30% more than what I wanted to spend with out letting me know until it came out. Booking dfirectly through the hotel would have saved this 30% plus international transfer fees of 17 dollars on top which were not detailed in the booking. Do not use Reservation stays
They pretended to be the hotel website
They pretended to be the hotel website. Scam. When I arrived to hotel they said they had no record of my reservation. I even showed them the “confirmation” email and they said that was not from them. Scammers. Reported to my bank.
Terrible experience just like everyone…
Terrible experience just like everyone else. I was told that I would be staying at a nice Hilton Hotel. We arrived and it was equivalent to a MOTEL 6. I paid $585 and quickly called them for a refund as this hotel was in a sketchy area and the room was filthy! I arrived late so had no choice but to tough it out for one night. I begged for a refund and they kept giving me the runaround that I would have to get proof of my one night stay with the hotel. The hotel explained that there was no way I could get this information as I had already booked thru the “third party” -reservation stays. I am not even sure how I got caught up in their scam I was calling a Marriot number to book I found on a website advertised as marriott but obviously they scammed me this way. It was during spring break so it was an already busy time in San Antonio so I assumed they knew what they were talking about when they found me a room. Do not stay at Spark by Hilton by La Cantera. Yes it is next to this luxury shopping center but it looks like a cheap and very unclean. I am so upset about this entire experience. Don’t know how they can do this to people and sleep at night.
I strongly advise travelers to avoid…
I strongly advise travelers to avoid using GuestReservations.com and ReservationsStays.com. These websites mislead guests by using hotel names in their URLs, making people think they are booking directly with the hotel when they are not.
Not only do they charge massive booking fees, but they also offer no real customer support when issues arise. Many frustrated guests have come to our hotel believing they booked directly with us, only to realize they overpaid significantly through these third-party sites. This leads to confusion, disappointment, and refund requests that we, as hotels, are not responsible for.
These deceptive practices are damaging to both guests and hotels. If you're booking a hotel, always check that you're on the official hotel website to avoid unnecessary fees and frustration.

Misleading Website & Hidden Fees
Avoid this website! GuestReservations.com / ReservationsStays.com are misleading customers into believing they are booking directly with hotels when they are not. They use hotel names in their URLs and run Google Ads that look like official hotel websites.
Not only do they charge excessive booking fees, but they also create confusion for guests who think they are dealing directly with the hotel. Many frustrated customers end up calling hotels for refunds, only to find out that these bookings were made through a third party with unfair policies.
This kind of deceptive practice damages trust in the hospitality industry. Always book directly with the hotel or through reputable travel platforms to avoid unnecessary fees and booking headaches.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, was given the run around for months to get a refund after my apartment was wrecked during Helene.
THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCAM
THIS IS THE BIGGEST SCAM. Confirm a res at a Wyndham and they gave address and phone of an unknown to us red roof inn…many phone call and never any help or correction just ghosting. . It was disgusting and dangerous in charlotte. Promised a shuttle and none…
non-existent customer service
non-existent customer service, do no use this site. Having used various sites it is way better to go directly to the hotel, unfortuately, i though i did but booked thru reservation stays. A complete and total nightmare.
As stated in other reviews, stay away.
DO NOT USE. Turned away from hotel!
DO NOT USE
we were turned away from the hotel with 2 children as they never made a booking and sent a fake confirmation. Now refusing to give a refund so having to resolve through credit card company
Scam - AVOID!!!!
Scam. Same story as others here. When payment completes a voucher loads with no info about the payment. No confirmation email. No receipt. No booking made, but money taken from my card. Support are denying that I made a booking. I’m hoping that at least those emails will be enough to claim service was paid but not provided to get refunded by bank, but it looks likely they’ll conclude I was a scammed and offer nothing.
Just like everyone else says- do not use this scam company
Just like everyone else, I made a reservation thinking I was on the hotel website. After completing the reservation and giving my card info I expected a receipt from the hotel. Instead I got a sort of "voucher" for the hotel stay that gave no info on the amount I had just paid, just the hotel name date of stay and my name. I realized then that I was on "reservationstays.com" not my hotel website. I called reservationstays and got a runaround. Then I called the hotel and found no reservation listed for me. I then called my credit card to stop payment, but they said I have to wait til the charge posts and then I can dispute. Meanwhile, reservationstays allows NO refunds, even for a mistaken reservation.
It is a scam to take your money
It is a scam to take your money. Please be careful when buying a reservation, and make sure the site is not really reservationStays. Better yet, just call your hotel and book it directly, to save yoursefl from the internet cesspool, filled with the likes of reservationStays.
I searched for an Athens, GA, BestWestern, which was switched to an Athens, AL, BestWestern on reservationStays. The website was called BestWesternAthens.com, but was really reservationStays. They will not allow me to correct the reservation. The company is all outsourced to India too; it is ridiculous.
They are the biggest scam out there
They are the biggest scam out there ! Im going after them , you can go to Expedia who sell out their name to book this POS company who doesn’t have the clout to book with anyone - I have left my reviews & to DM ME -
