I have my domain running Wordpress, but the theme that I use hit a hiccup. Solving the problem was way out of scope for the Rebel folks. I didn't ask for help, because I know that that kind of problem (a hosted issue) isn't in their support framework. I'm guessing that my self-frustration (because I was mad at myself for not being able to solve it) was heard, because they talked me through various steps to solve, questions to ask, and in the end it was solved. Total 5 stars, and then some!

I had what seemed initially to be a simple problem - I wanted to retrieve recent invoices and when I couldn't get access I was confused and, I confess, a little bit cranky. It turned out that the ownership of the account needed to be updated and when Audrey took over the file I got a clear understanding and easy to follow (even for me!) steps to rectify the problem. Two other issues were also dealt with effectively and efficiently. I have always appreciated that fact that the interactions at Rebel.com are with "real live people" - one of the strengths of DomainsatCost which attracted me many years ago and I am happy to see that staff like Audrey continue to respond calmly and patiently with effective advice. Thank you.

Beware of Rebel.com – unethical billing and unprofessional conduct
After more than 20 years of loyalty (since their old DomainsAtCost days), I left Rebel.com for good a couple of years ago — and I’m glad I did. I cancelled all my domains with them, yet they charged me again for a cancelled domain. No authorization, no notice, just an unexpected withdrawal from my account.
The reason why I cancelled, the owner once contacted one of my clients directly and spoke negatively about me — completely inappropriate and unprofessional. That was the final straw.
Rebel.com has gone from being a trusted registrar to using underhanded tactics to squeeze a few dollars out of long-time customers. If you value transparency and respect, stay far away. There are plenty of honest alternatives that don’t resort to this kind of behavior.

Rebel is always there to assist . Superb support was provided to me on both the chat and when I still had troubles , in a support phone call. Cannot thank Shannon enough . So patient , knowledgeable and gets it sorted every time . I am back in my business e mail account and feeling relieved !

My colleague managed to accidentally delete our entire email inbox permanently. Luckily, Rebel had everything backed up and had the issue restored same day.
This effectively saved our business and I thank Rebel support greatly for this!

Although the service department was extra busy and response time was slow, I received a through explanation by email and my issue was resolved in a timely manner by the hosting team. This included progress updates and a final report. My agent, Israel, did a great job. It's reassuring to work with real people. I am a long time client and would recommend Rebel to my friends without hesitation.

Rebel Customer Service is EXCELLENT!
I was email bombed with over 30,000 emails / it paralyzed my account and I couldn't send out. The Rebel Crew escalated it to their Level 2 Team reviewing my account, and adding necessary measures. Special Thank You to Israel who led the team and communicated with me back and forth constantly while the issue was being solved. It took approx. 3 days overall to complete... but the end result was worth the wait - THANK YOU!

My experience with Shannon from Rebel was nothing short of perfect. Such a departure from the level of customer service and knowledge that is prevalent in today's society. Just finished getting Rebel Cloud Email running with my personal domain. I was very happy with the cutover - no mail lost, everything works - and the Rebel Cloud Email product has surprisingly broad functionality, and is a really nice user experience.
I don't mess with my email often so I was a bit nervous. Rebel's support (kudos to Israel!) was responsive, helpful and had me up and running quickly.

I have called four times over super-slow email retrieval. Each rep promises I'll get a call back and I never do. I depend on email for my business and it isn't working properly. They have blamed it on an old server. Yeah, ok sure. 10 years ago got better service. You'd think that with better technology "things" would get more efficIent. THEY HAVEN'T. Been on hold for 20 minutes. you guys have lost it. PATHETIC SERVICE. Now all I'm getting is static on the telephone.
