Excellent. The BT Rewards Card is a great way to bring in new customers for BT, and I've enjoyed spending my reward! Very easy to use and didn't really have any issue making payments online.

Unnecessarily complex, Seems virtually impossible to now close the account, now that the "reward" has been claimed.
BT should not really be supporting these companies that just want your data.

Excellent. Had to set the card using my name, address and contact details. I took a separate note of account number and card details so that, if there were any issues using the card, I had a copy of all the information. I went to website, where I wanted to spend the money, put items in my basket and, at the point of payment, entered the card details. Everything went through smoothly.

Card can only be used online
Card can only be used online, and can't be topped up. It can't be used as part payment towards a purchase. Therefore it will be very difficult to spend exactly £75 on this card, so I will be left with a balance that either I can't spend or will eventually disappear. Also, all the online retailers that I use regularly have my physical card details securely stored, and automatically use this card whenever I buy something. It would be a great hassle to register another card (ie the Purecard) with them, especially as I would probably only ever use it once.

We do appreciate you feedback, however a lot of retailers will not allow you to use part payment for online transactions. There is an option to purchase gift cards with this card, just make sure that the remaining balance of the transaction matches the balance of the card, so you can use the whole amount.

Too much faff
I tried to redeem the card in store at Tesco, but because it didn’t have a bar code they said they couldn’t scan it. I then tried to purchase something from Argos for above the amount, so that wasn’t accepted either. I eventually managed to purchase a supermarket physical card on-line and am now waiting for this to arrive. Surely you could have offered a physical card for customers preferring this method as everyone could then use it everywhere without the faff it created for us…and the embarrassment that went with it.
