very bad support
They disable my account and asking for proof, I've to uploaded all as request but they just said they not accept my proof, i asking for what proof they want --> they keep silent.
Very poor to no support at all
Opened an account to integrate sms sending feature with our application;
our application is a medical one that has a feature of notifying patients of their appointments through sms.
First there were no test credits in the account. I tried purchasing 25$, the transaction was pended and they needed proof. I provided the company website, the address, and a copy of the credit card used. After days, they still needed personal ID. I provided my ID although it wasn't necessary since it's a company account and I'm just an employee. After days, the support said that they were not able to identify the ids provided, so i resent them again. After that support disappeared, nobody replies to the emails, i have opened several other tickets to reference that one, no one cares. They even closed the first ticket automatically ignoring my emails. I used another account i have to reference that account, nobody cares. That problem happened throughout Nov.8 2016 till now (Nov.25 2016), without any sign of Plivo.
Meanwhile I have used Nexmo to develop my API, and integrate the sms feature. It's a decent company, support is a little slow but at least there is an online chat that replies to urgent needs. Unlike plivo which has only email support with no one on the other side.
Poor services and taking $ without deliverying services
Various issues with the services while they claiming and lying about their services are almost 100% uptime. Ridiculous.
Only focus on taking money without delivering the services especially when SMS are not delivered they just making excuse of their carriers problems.

as horrible as Twilio
I switched to Plivo from Twilio, because I was disappointed with Twilio's deliverability. However, Plivo is as bad as Twilio. In the last 2 months almost 100% of our text messages in Canada was not delivered and their support tells me that this is because the destination number was not in the available network!!! So, almost all numbers in Canada are always unavailable according to Plivo support??? I created a support request regarding this problem and contacted them multiple times, waited for 2 weeks, but it seems they don't do anything. They just take my money without sending SMS (at least not in Canada).
