This is a real shame I feel I have to write this... Having already used this garage once before, I thought I'd get a quote on my new car... Totally unprofessional... In the space of three weeks, I have contacted them using their own contact form on THEIR website on TWO separate occasions... NOBODY has bothered contacting me back regarding the work I need doing...!!! I even rang them today regarding the same issue... Went to voicemail, left a message, and STILL, no one has bothered to get back to me... What a shame... Next garage on the list it is then...!! They must be happy with the volume of work they have if they can choose to IGNORE enquiries and potential work...
Took my car due to an orange engine management light. Said it needed a filter replacing but in order to do that I had to have a full service (the most expensive one). Also had its MOT and there was a significant amount of work to be done. £868 and less than a week later and hour into a drive the red engine management light came on. Pulled over and had to abandon the car. When garage was rung he said “bollockings had been handed out” and to bring it in for them to look at. They then proceeded to ask if anyone else had looked at the cooling system (no) and that was the problem. Denied any form of accountability and said it was nothing to do with them. I asked for a courtesy car and they said I needed to pay. I’d incurred over £400 worth of charges due to the car breaking down and then had to pay an additional £262 for the cooling pipe to be changed.
It was the first (and last) time using them. Absolutely do not trust what they are saying to you.

I am very uneducated in cars and always feel nervous to get fleeced but the team here were welcoming, honest and very professional. gave me the peace of mind needed - Already booked my other Vehicle in for its MOT here! & 100% would recommend.
Took car for a mot and service first time using this garage failed on cv joints clips i paid 60 quid for new ones fitting to pass less than 3 months later had loads of noise coming from cv joints taken to another garage and the clips ain't even on all the grease has gone and left me with 2 bad cv joints
Took my car here for an MOT and repairs after a headlight failure (which cost enough already), but what really annoyed me was being charged nearly £32 just for being told about advisories—with no work actually done.
They added:
• £19.90 for spotting a nail in my tyre (I later found it myself in under a minute)
• £11.55 for saying my rear wiper wasn’t cleaning well (it wasn’t replaced)
These aren’t repairs, they’re just observations, which should be part of the MOT I already paid for.
I’ve never been charged separately for advisories at any other garage.
Not impressed by that at all—watch your bill carefully!
Best garage in the area, got instant quote online and booked in the date. Dropped the car off and it was ready in quite short time. Fixed my breaks and passed MOT. Happy customer definitely will be coming back.
