This is a constructive and honest review. I won't go into details of the relative repairs, but for future customers they can read this review, if they are feeling hopeless with the outcome of their repairs.
This review is for customers who have had the misfortune to have their vehicles repaired at this AA approved garage. Under no circumstances should this be an AA approved garage.
All favourable reviews are 'generated' or from family and friends.
I urge everyone to complain about the level of service provided, terrible communication, delay after delay and invoice not itemised.
Your vehicle is returned in a worse condition. Any reputable garage will not touch it. If they do, you are paying out more money to rectify poor workmanship.

Do Not contact the Motor Ombudsman as the garage must be accredited to their Code of Practice. Of course, the Media City Garage is not.
Please do not use this garage for any repairs. if you are towed there by your insurance. Pay for a tow truck and move it. It will be less expensive in the long run.
They are not mechanics...

We read all the reviews once our vehicle was in the garage. We wished we saw a review like this advising us what to do. I hope this helps anyone in this situation.

Constant lies, caused more damage than fix the problem, be warned this garage scams people and have been reported to the authorities, read all bad reviews as compared to the positives which are clearly fake, they never answer your call and you will be left in stress

They fought for me with my warranty company who refused to pay. It took many calls and messages by them. I was kept updated with very polite calls. All now fixed. Great service.

3rd year running of having my service and MOT here, not disappointed. Great work every time and communication is good.

Came in today knocking noise found out it was the drop links.
Parts came got fitted same day.
Took car no noise great job.

Deeply Disappointed – Please Be Cautious

I’m sharing this review based on my personal experience in hopes of helping others make an informed decision. I took my car in for an MOT and unfortunately, things went downhill from there. What began as a routine visit ended up costing over £1000, and the vehicle was returned in a worse and potentially unsafe condition.

A windscreen wiper was replaced incorrectly, which resulted in a noticeable scratch across the windscreen. In addition, the tracking was seriously off when the car was returned, making it difficult and even dangerous to drive. Despite repeated visits and assurances that the issues would be fixed, the problems persisted.

Attempts to get updates or further assistance were largely ignored. When I went to speak with the staff in person to seek resolution, I encountered behavior that I found extremely unprofessional and intimidating. I left the premises feeling deeply uncomfortable and unsafe.

Due to the severity of the situation, I involved the police and have considered further steps to protect myself and my rights.

This is just my experience, but I strongly encourage others to do thorough research and read reviews before making a decision. I would not return.

Awful garage. More interested in getting as much money out of you as possible not making genuine repairs. I'd never use again.

AVOID AVOID AVOID See google reviews. Car taken here by AA after it broke down, they had it for three months in which time they did unnecessary work, caused damage to the car and lied to me. Incompetent and dangerous. Car has since been repaired elsewhere, and they could not believe the previous shoddy workmanship. Makes me very suspicious of the number of positive reviews left in June - Friends? DO NOT USE

Excellent staff and Team. Got my MOT done in timely fashion. Did a full safety test and replaced my coil springs. Value for money and always honour their commitment.

DO NOT USE THEM!!! A very dodgy garage.

Quoted £160 to clean actuator motor flap of soot and reset and fit back, stating this should resolve the issue of an error on the dashboard.

I collected the car drove away and an error came back very soon.

I then had to get another opinion and diagnosis at a different garage who told me it will take a lot more time and will cost a lot more to properly do this work (£500+) as a lot of engine parts will need to be removed and then fitted back on completion.

In fact, they did not do anything, just got my cash and returned the vehicle back to me. To remove the actuator motor flap and clean it and then install it back takes a lot more than 2 hours of time as quoted and also needs a specialist cleaning liquid which I am sure they don't even have.

By speaking to them I realized that they are completely incompetent!!!

I found out that they were registered with the Motor Ombudsman and filed a complained.
The decision has been issued on 10/01/2025 saying that I have not got enough evidence to prove any wrong doing by the garage.
It is obvious that I can`t prove anything documentary for such a small job but it is clearly obvious. I can`t go and obtain an expert report since the value of this issue is less than the report would cost me. I would also lose a lot of my time in addition which does not worth it. However, I can provide the feedback on here and google maps (has a lot of similar clients feedbacks). Unless they compensate me, this will remain in here and on google maps.
