What can I say
What can I say, can’t be easier. Bid on what you like, know if it is new or used, missing pieces. When you win the bid, schedule and pick could not be better. Easy ride into the facility, great people to help direct you where to park. Team member checks you in and another member brings your item out and places it in your car. Every time a won a bid I was in and out in 5 minutes. If I could I would buy stock in this business.
DON'T FALL FOR THIS
In the beginning it was good I bought a lot of things, but as time went by I started to see some things that I didn't offer on my car, so I didn't hate the offer because they wanted to force me to pay for the product or pay the fees, so they told me to pay for something that I hadn't given an offer, that's horrible, I refused, of course. After all, I hadn't chosen the product and they closed my account because I wouldn't pay the fees, imagine that if something appears in your car and you didn't choose it, they force you to pay the fees or close your account, this is absurd WHAT A HORROR

Is anyone else having trouble with what they buy from Nellis Auction…the description said no missing parts and the last few things I’ve bought have had to be returned because of MISSING PARTS! Today I went to pick up a $350 foot messager and guess what it wasn’t to be found! So they gave me a refund BUT that doesn’t help my neuropathy!! I am so disappointed!!!! I do NOT trust this set up and buyer beware! Even if you check your boxes at pickup if they can’t find your purchase you are out of luck and lose!
Nellis auction sells counterfeit items & then refused to refund
Nellis auction sold TONS of packages of counterfeit Alli weight loss pills and then refused to refund me even though they know they sold many counterfeit items. This ruined my reputation on eBay and I had to refund all my buyers. Nellis auction is so unprofessional and wouldn't even reply to my numerous complaints. I would never buy from Nellis auction if you plan to resell on the Internet because they often sell counterfeit items & refuse to refund.
I got some great deals
I got some great deals! People are complaining about the extra 30 second thing but think about if you were at a live auction, the bidding continues until people drop out. THAT'S HOW AUCTIONS WORK. This isn't Ebay!! If someone bids with 30 seconds left, you have a chance to go in and up your bid. Put in the max you would pay from the start and stop complaining!
Things to remember before you bid at Nellis Auction
It has been almost 7 months since I regularly started bidding on Nellis Auction site. It was going well until the last 2-3 months. Nowadays, it feels like a gambling site with their unlimited 30 second time increments until Nellis Auction decides to end the bidding for (an) item/s.
A few of my experiences on Nellis Auction:
1. Everything I have won through bidding is Amazon returned items - either used, damaged, or missing parts. As a result, I have had to return 50% of the items.
2. If I am not cross checking the price of the items, I am either paying more or the current market price with the15% buyer's premium.
3. Anything they claim as new is never new. All items are amazon returns with serious defects or missing/wrong parts.
4. I don't trust their promotional credits or in-store refunds as they expire sooner than when they notify you via emails.
I will never go back to Nellis Auction to bid on anything ever again.
Check your items when picking up
I’m writing this review to hopefully save everyone’s time, money, and energy from actually doing business with them. The website was suggested by a friend because she found some great deals on items for her home, so I checked it out. I picked up a printer that I bid on their website that was described as new with no missing parts, only to find that the printer inside the box is a different model, missing accessories and looks like it’s a used one. I returned the box the next day, had to drive almost an hour to get there. Overall, I wasn’t pleased with the entire experience. It felt like I got scammed. If i could get this review no stars, I would. Their staff seem nice though, I’ll give the 1-star of this review to them. Not sure if I could give this website another shot, my first experience with them already left a sour taste in my mouth.
I just got an email that said I returned a different item. Well I returned it cuz I got a different item in the first place.
Check your boxes before leaving the premises so you don’t have to go through the stress that I experienced with this business.
Not a good deal anymore
Site use to be pretty good until they added 30 seconds to the timer for each last minute bids, extending bidding indefinitely. Its causing items to go for retail or more in the bidding frenzy and it doesn't help they inflate estimated retail prices on many items.
Bidder Beware
Bidder beware! I won a bid for a TV entertainment center. The timing was almost too good since ours desperately needs replacing. There were two listings for the same item, but the pictures were different so I thought nothing of it. I couldn't pick it up right away so I deferred until the weekend when a larger vehicle could be obtained to transport this oversized box. This delay was a good thing because the more I thought about those two listings for an identical item, the more it scratched at my brain. Surely an item as large as an entertainment center (cabinet, 2 towers, and a bridge) would require more than just one box, right? So I looked up similar items on Amazon, and sure enough a listing for an almost identical EC stated that it ships in TWO BOXES!
Nellis was auctioning each box separately, and each listing claimed the item was "NEW" and "No missing parts". LIES!!! I would have been so mad if I had paid $100, and driven 2 hours, round trip, and not gotten all the parts needed to assemble this thing.
They need to do better when vetting these things for auction. Bait and switch doesn't even begin to cover it. My first auction with them should have been the red flag. I bid on a NightHawk router that was listed as new. When I picked it up it was in a replacement box, and when I got home and hooked it up I found out it was not new, but REFURBISHED and USED.
I just hope whoever ended up winning the second box of the EC came to the same realization as I did and canceled. How has this place not been sued into oblivion with these shady, incorrect listings??
Use common sense and a “buyer beware” approach great deals can be had!
I think folks giving a review should ID the location. Maybe the negative experiences are related to a particular site. I started biding in late March 2024. I bid at the Houston location. I’ve won about 10 things. There’s been about 10 items that got bid up and I dropped out. Only one of the 10 items I won was misidentified. In that case, the Nellis description, pictures and box showed a used Shark vacuum but inside the box was a knock off. It worked but its suction power sucked, pardon the pun. I suspect a person purchased a Shark on Amazon and returned the knock off in the Shark box for a refund and kept the Shark and refund. Amazon dumped it on Nellis and Nellis’s screening missed it. Nellis took it back and refunded my money. Checkin is quick and easy once you know the process. I agree the signage could be better. I’ve noticed over time some additional signage to ID the oneway entry point. I’ve never picked up more than three items at a time so my typical wait time is less than 5 minutes. I could imagine people buying lots of items at once probably wait longer. I’m way more selective about what I bid on than at first because it is a “buyer beware” process. All in all I’m happy with my experience.
They are the best.....they post 10,000+…
They are the best.....they post 10,000+ items a day....of course they don't have time to triple check everything before posting...that's why their return policy is pretty great. I've won HUNDREDS of items from them and only had to return a handful. Negative reviews are probably just trying to keep you from being in competition. So, so, so sad we are moving 3 hours away from the closest Nellis location....P.S. Nellis if you're listing think about Northeast Dallas area would ya
When you arrive
When you arrive, there are no directions where to go. Their "check-in" system was down, so you couldn't check-in. There are no "public" restrooms, which was not what you want to hear after a 3hr drive. I called the phone number on the website, and after being on hold over 30 mins, I gave up. This was the worst experience I have ever had, and I had to pay 15% ($90) for the privilege. The staff were very polite and helpful,but the management doesn't know how to treat a customer. Save yourself the aggravation and don't buy here. I know I never will again!
Incorrect descriptions, wrong items always!
It’s so frustrating being excited about winning items and then when you go and pick them up they always give you different things because their staff doesn’t know how to accurately list or describe items. Don’t waste your time because you’ll end up having to return a lot of what you think you won. Not a one time occurrence either. 5 out 6 of my experiences have been wrong.

I LOVE this place
I LOVE this place! It has become more competitive now that so many people know about it but I still get amazing deals. Over the years I've probably won over 100 items and I've never had any issues with the staff or with returning items. I've only experienced about a 10% defect rate (items not accurately described) which is a bummer when it happens but I don't think it’s all that bad when dealing with retail returns. If you bid at Nellis, make sure you view the actual photos, read all the notes, confirm the retail price yourself, and expect some items to have something that was missed by the people listing the item. If you do that, you can get great deals.
The pickup process was SUPER efficient
The pickup process was SUPER efficient. Other retailers should try to emulate the product pick process. In less than 5 minutes of driving on the property, the items were loaded in my car and I was driving off of the property.

****I Love a Good Auction **** However the new Location NJ is a bit of a challenge - it started off great and I got a few good deals , but it has become Painfully obvious they have a few bidders for Nellis Auction in place bidding against you , which is somewhat normal but they are so obvious , it’s ridiculous! I’ve been involved in auctions a long time and it’s easy to tell when the auctioneer is bidding against you. Also the constant resetting of the clock is normal but I believe the legal limit is 3x’s for an auction. They just seem to go around way too many times. There used to be majority of slightly damaged products which I am always willing to buy , but the last couple Of days has been 90% USED products which I try never to buy as I don’t know where that’s been. COVID taught us that! So I am inclined to believe the previous reviews about the bait and switch. I had some incorrect items received but it was resolved timely just inconvenient when I purchased something to go with that item and now don’t have that item.
Anyway this place is *** hit or mis***. I like the pickup convenience but everything else is a toss up!

They dont care much in all reality
Some items are good some are bad. The more expensive items that you can get for good prices tend to have been purchased from Nellis before you and swapped out for other crap. THEY DO NOT CHECK IT ONCE THEY GET IT BACK. that is very clear. the past 2-3 times i have purchased items over 200$ and have to end up returning them because the box is the same in the photos but the item has clearly been swapped out for older items or damaged ones from the previous buyers. They need to check returned items not just throw them back on the site and waste other peoples time and money...... Do better please
Extended time - more money for them but less buyers
They have become greedy and super shady with the new “extended time” nonsense as items are counting down. Defeats the whole concept of an auction in this manner. Pathetic.
Also, whoever is conducting quality control of items listed needs to be retrained or fired. 2/3 of the items I’ve bought had undisclosed damage issues resulting in returns.
