Be extremely careful when completing your order. If you deselect the recurring subscription options but leave the checkout page for any reason, the system automatically defaults back to opting you into the "Angel" membership upon return.
I am aware that Naked Wines has a policy to refund unspent monthly contributions upon account cancellation. However, consumer consent should be transparent, and users should not have to fight to claw back $120.00 in unauthorised fees due to aggressive checkout design. Save yourself the headache of having to monitor pending bank transactions and chase customer support to undo automated sign-ups. I have emailed support demanding the full reversal of my $120.00 and am currently waiting for a human response. Check your final invoice and bank account immediately after ordering.

My credit card was debitrd $40 for this angel scheme I believe I was scamed into this wine club scheme. I contacted naked wines to refund this money & cancelled my subscription. No refund had happened ! They even replied to me stating people often get a schock when they see their bank account in debit.

When i was first offered the 'deal' for half price wines i thought great and i proceeded. Somehow in the sign up / details process, the company managed to trick me into signing up for an ongoing subscription which deducted $40/per month from my account. I was $180 down before i noticed. Im not one to be easily taken advantage of but this guys managed to go it. Took the food out of my kids mouth and the cloths off my back! Now i know why they are called Naked Wines....

Bad experience all round after first promo delivery.
Tracking non existent delivery left in open. Delivery takes to long. Angel account deceptive wine club account deceptive. Hard to find cancel link. Sneaky all round. Cancelled. Then deduction taken. Tried to call, all out in training?? Email sent. Tried three deliveries. The first was a promo. It came out ok. The next two one left at fence in plain view. The other I’m still waiting on with no ability to track through link and # provided. So. All around naked looks sneaky and bad faith.

Great value & range of wines
I have always enjoyed Naked wines. There's a great selection of wines, that you don't find everywhere else. I like knowing I'm supporting independent winemakers at reasonable prices. The customer service has been helpful when needed. Delivery is fast.

Wines are good
Wines are good, but the whole automatically signing up purchasers to the Angel program is immoral and unethical. Give me reasons to sign up, sure, but doing it sneakily is just wrong. I didn't realise I had signed up until reading some other reviews. And what's more, what happens if NW go bust? Anything in your Angel bank will be forfeited. What's more, the 'market price' is made up - all their wines are exclusive to them, so they can say whatever they want for that number and then offer you an equally made up special price.

Don't buy anything from this company unless you plan to remain a subscribed member. They will charge you $40AUD every month even though you don't realise that you are signing up for that. If you don't check your account statements, you'll end up paying a few months subscription before you even realise what is happening. They did cancel my subscription when contacted, but I'm still out of pocket.

Just a really disingenuous company
Just a really disingenuous company. Sends out offers for $100 off, then tries to compulsorily enrol you in a monthly subscription service. I'd have happily tried a box and signed up if it was any good, but when you use grubby tactics like this you lose my trust. I hope you change your business model, but in the meantime I'll be steering clear and recommend others do the same.

Stealth $40/month subscription scam
It's a scammer company which not only subscribes you to a $40/month fee automatically if you make what was intended as a one-off purchase, they even hide this behind a submenu in the "My Subscriptions" page so it looks you don't have a subcription if you happen to check.

I was given a gift card through 'Dymocks books' $100 apparently but I still had to pay to use it.
Scam artists. I guess they are good at that. Rips money out my account without my permission monthly says it is my money and I can decide what I spend it on... bit hard when it's now in your account. Going through other people's complaint reviews I realise I'm not the only one.
I emailed them....Surprise...no reply.
My Bank. N.A.B. helped me to recover my funds so I give 'Nab' 10/10.
Stay away people
The wine was a bit average. Some ok Some crap. I'd rather go directly to a cellar door talk to people that actually have a passion for wine. Not just a spin company that just looks at a money making scheme.
Add this to the already climbing list of pissed off customers. :(

Scummy Charges Without Warning
Started off as a nice bonus from my youfoods box, until they charged me $40 out of nowhere without warning a month later to apparently add to the account balance, when I had already bought a one off box of wine with the voucher I got from youfoodz that Ive barely touched because I dont drink that much. No offer of a refund when I cancelled the same day. Felt incredibly scammy, avoid like the plague.

I have been getting wines from Naked now for almost 12 months and have been quite happy with the quality of the wines and the first 10 or so deliveries were fine. However the last 2 deliveries have not not actually been delivered, or actually even attempted to be delivered. It has taken up so much of my time trying to chase these and the support team who promise to chase up and escalate don't appear to do so. You need to chase them at every occasion to find out what is happening. Still no wine. Promises, promises. No result. I will be taking my business elsewhere

I've been a part of Naked wines for more than 7 years and can honestly say i've never had a poor experience.
Every Delivery has been exception, from order to received, nothing has ever been damaged. I try to order a wide variety of wines of different types, while i can't say I've personally enjoyed them all on flavour alone, their quality is fantastic and I have plenty of Wine lovers in the family to pick up my slack. I typically order twice a year and have never been dissappointed.

Terrible. Doesn't give you option to manage your own account. Can't cancel, remove my account. Can't remove a card. Poor quality, cheap wines. Sends too many emails and SMS but when it's time to refund, volume and mode of communication changes to what works for them. Pathetic customer retention strategy.

Wines ok, but after sales service poor
The wines are ok, but honestly you could buy the same quality at the same price from any of the chain stores. They outsource customer "service" to the Philippines and delivery to a separate company. So as soon as they have your money you are no longer of interest to them. We have had two poor experiences now with delivery agents. 1. They lied when they said they had attempted delivery as our Ring camera proved otherwise 2. They promised delivery on a specific date and then tried to deliver it the day before, when we were out. On both occasions we were left in the lurch by Naked Wines and had to rely on call centre employees in another country who had limited contact with the delivery people and a delivery company it was impossible to telephone.
