LocaliQ are my first point of call when I run into paid social media targeting issues, and every time I've used them they've impressed me a little more. Our Client Success Manager (Hey Mark!) is always on hand to answer my questions (however irritating) and through our collaboration we've seen our paid social media really take off as a core Lead Gen channel. Can't recommend enough.

Poor service! We accept a date for a meeting , after 2 days they cancelled the meeting for no reason nobody from the company e.mail me or call me, after sending few e.mails nobody answered… what a shame

Highly recommend. The whole process from starting to ongoing meetings has really simplified our online advertising. Explanations of each stage and top tips are really helpful and definitely help us make the most out of our advertising. Our Client Manager Mark is great, very knowledgable and really feels like we are in safe hands. Been a customer for years with print and digital advertising and Kerry who manages this for us is proactive and her experience shows. No doubts at all in recommending LOCALiQ for any advertising needs.

Do NOT have your website built with them. Delay after delay after delay. Excuse after excuse after excuse. The project manager Matthew Chatfield is rude, sarcastic and needs training on how to speak to clients. Our website has dropped off a cliff after having our site built by this company and 4-5 leads per week has turned to 4-5 leads per quarter. We are unable to make changes to the website which we could on our site before. I have spoken with other web developers and they have been critical of the system this company uses. The sales person has empathised with us and admitted the development team dropped the ball but she can “only do so much” they only care about their own interests not the businesses they work with. Totally disappointed AND we paid above market rate for the privilege! AWFUL

Edited to add further context - our first site was ranking for 800+ keywords and we were happy with performance wkth regards to number of leads. 4-5 per week and each lead is worth approx £8k to us if we convert it. However the site was 7 years old and we needed a new look. I specifically asked Matthew at the start of project if there would be any negative impact with leads and he said “not at all, don’t you worry about that” and “if anything you are likely to get more with a better looking website”. Nearly overnight, we started to disappear annd lo and behold to today and we are now ranking for less than 100 keywords. A drop of nearly 90% and we were told if anything it would get better or at least remain the same!!! This was very important to us and Matthew knew it. The salesperson then said “we can do SEO or PPC for your site if that is what you are seeing” no thank you! When I raised concerns about the lack of care the website has received from the development team and the obnoxious calls fro Matthew, I was told “sorry he can be like that sometimes but that’s why I am here to support you” but she can also “only do so much” in her words so what support am I getting? I am convinced they build websites to impact their performance so they can then sell them SEO or PPC after. As I said, other developers have commented and compared the old site and our new site and have said they have jeopardised the lead performance by not paying any attention to what is (apparently) important. I am not tech savvy so I relied on the so called experts to make sure this did not happen. The new site looks better but what is the point if it doesn’t bring any value to my business?

Will not recommend to anyone unless you want your website and business to fall off a cliff.

I'm really trying to break up with this company but they won't stop emailing me, my Director, other managers, random colleagues. I have asked several times to take us off their list and they assure me that my customer file has been updated...

The same customer file that wasn't updated when they reissued an invoice to us. So we were threatened with legal action for editing an invoice that they denied sending to us. Until they realised their error.

They also debited our account when we specifically instructed them to invoice us. They insisted I had to complete a credit form to do business with them but they wouldn't debit our account. But they did. They apologised, and did it again.
I will never work with LocalIQ, or Newsquest, again. I wish they would stop emailing me.

LocaliQ has been instrumental in elevating awareness and engagement via Facebook and Instagram for a new project and campaign that we launched and have been marketing for the last 5 months.

The campaign we agreed to was absolutely brilliant for our Christmas trading in November and December of 2023.
We had over 12,000 clicks to our Christmas/company website during the period and increased sales because of it and a record taking day on one of the Saturday's.
We had an all round print, digital and social media package which covered all bases!

Avoid Avoid Avoid No results at all for over £5600 in payments

After being contacted by LocalIq (Newsquest Media Group) arranged a discovery call with them and they seamed like a decent company with experience so I decided to move forward and take them on as my marketing company for Google ads and Social media.
During the onboarding period they were very good to be fair, however once the ads started running that’s when it all went downhill fast.

Poor communication with email replies taking over 3 days. The ads looked fine however the results were Zero.
£5600+vat paid for zero leads
Every time I spoke to an account manager, they just tried to blame me for the results that I was paying them for ??? yet every time they made a suggestion I implemented it immediately.
The fees they charge include the Ad revenue so all I can assume is that they do not spend much of your fee on the revenue itself and keep the majority as a management fee. They are not clear on this during the initial period and I have requested numerous times for a breakdown of how much of my overall payment was used as Ad revenue with no answer.

I decided to place my own Facebook ad on during the period as a tester and with 2 days received 3 leads at a cost of £23 in total. When I queried this with the account manager I was told it must be because of the criteria I had set with them, however I used exactly the same criteria for my own Ad.

Do yourself a massive favour and avoid this company at all costs. They promise the earth and deliver nothing.
