The engineer came in to service my…
The engineer came in to service my Ideal boiler which went OK. I then asked him if the boiler was working properly and he said Yes. Then asked if he would help with bleeding the radiators so that I could turn on my heating he said Oh no that’s not part of the job. So I have paid £95 for a boiler service - a boiler that heats both hot water and radiator heating - and yet I am sitting in the cold with no heating as I have no idea how to get it back after the summer.
So may I suggest that you include the other 50% of the boilers output - the central heating -in your boiler services.
So now having paid you £95 for the boiler service I now have no heating so I will have to pay a plumber to come in and get it working which will cost me another £120 - So double what you charge supplying half the service needed. Truly shocking! Never again! Your boiler service is a sham and a rip off. Allison TuffreyJones

I was contacted in the morning and given an approximate time, then rang closer to the expected time. The engineer arrived as promised and fixed the problem. Everything was done as explained prior to the appointment. The engineer was polite and friendly and explained the works he carried out. thank you

Excellent Fault engineers
My boiler was faulty from the start from installation , and while Ideal report line was so unhelpful , and rude ( made me really worry that it was never going to be fixed ) The two engineers that came , as the first engineer Matt didn't have the part , but he was really good and got another engineer to attend the next day . Jamie did have the part and got it working . Both engineers were great , kind and re assured me after the first unpleasant experience . Matt even called today to check it was all ok . So they both turned the situation around , i totally understand things are not perfect in life and sometimes things are faulty , but the guy on first call sadly should not be customer facing ! But engineers were brilliant and genuinely wanted to resolve my boiler for me

Great communication, arrived at expected tine, Lee was exceptionally polite and explained everything in simple easy to understand language whilst replacing a faulty fan/ circuit board. Ideal responses in a timely manner to our boiler breakdown. Especially pertinent as I have a vulnerable adult in the house, they bought the repair forward by 48 hours.
