Got my claim approved…

I was able to get somewhat compensated for a faulty product. That was good. The process was rather tedious, time consuming and despite registration of my product at the time of purchase, I still had to provide receipts, dates and painstaking justification for the claim. Is the process designed to make people just walk away? Anyhow. We stuck it out. Answered all questions ad nauseum and finally after weeks of waiting for responses, received the base cost of my item purchase price - minus the taxes paid and minus the actual cost of a replacement product (which was more than the original). All in, I am not sure it was worth the time, effort or final amount received. My takeaway? better to be prepared for items to break down earlier than expected and don’t buy the most expensive options. Save the cost of the insurance and use it towards a replacement cost. I would not insure a lower cost item again. Save this sort of aggravation for the really costly things.

Mulberry was able to get my Tic watch…

Mulberry was able to get my Tic watch replaced after the watch failed to live up to it's claims of being able to be worn in a swimming pool. It did take some time to resolve, but it got handled in a simple easy process.

Helpful

Mulberry refunded my broken robot vacuum from a company that had gone out of business. I thought it was going to be difficult to prove the vacuum wasn’t working but Mulberry was flexible.

I dont recommend it

I dont recommend it. I purchased protection for my mattresses and they couldnt help me with a stain! Please do not buy this plan. Its almost like scam.

I agree with MS

I agree with MS. Hass FROM august of 2024 . I received terrible sevice for filling a claim - they do everything they can to make it hard to file a claim. its a joke to talk to a live person. They do not respond to my questions and then give me an ultimatum if the claim is not finished in 7 days they will cancel me.
I have 5 rugs and all of them are fraying around the edges

As for your concerns regarding exclusions: The use of this coverage requires an explanation of where and when the Accidental Damage occurred as well as a detailed description of the actual event. Our terms also include a definition of accidental damage as a single, unexpected, sudden, and unintentional event. Accumulated damage from continuing multiple events does not fall under this definition. Furthermore, the plan specifically excludes coverage for damages that are severe, excessive, extreme, or repetitive in nature and could have been reasonably prevented. Each of these incidents, while individually covered, cumulatively create a scenario that our warranty does not cover when not promptly reported and addressed.

Our terms have been, and continue to be, readily available for review at any point before, during, and after purchase. We encourage all our customers to utilize these resources to fully understand the coverage they are receiving.

Truly not fair what they are doing. Probably illegal

Purchased a sofa set from Zinus back in March 2024. One of the Chaise has a defect. Now, Zinus and Mulberry have been emailing back and forth about who's responsible. How unprofessional is that? Mulberry warranty is definitely responsible for the defect yet they've been giving me the run around and have not held up their end of the bargain. At this point I don't want anything from them other than a refund of what I paid for their protection plan. I've been waiting for 2 months for a resolution yet all they keep doing is sending useless emails. Paid over 2k for a set and neither side takes responsibility. Welcome to America. Land of the greed.

What Mulberry covers through its insurance is bogus - and the customer service is HORRIBLE.

I bought insurance for my 1800 white couch - I bought it because the company claims the insurance covers stains, rips, bubbling, etc.

I had a stain that wouldn't come off my couch though I tried to get it professionally cleaned. I submitted a claim and then Mulberry sent me off to the 'underwriter' who said they don't cover this. Since I didn't even know of this 'underwriter' before, and I bought my insurance directly from Mulberry - I'm spending so much time chasing after a resolution/explanation/etc. What Mulberry claims seems to be for the most part a lie.

UPDATE:The problem is not the existenxe of an underwriter, it’s the lie that Mulberry says covers all the following which is in my dashboard clearly detailed. I submitted for a stain and they and the underwriter won’t cover it.

Mulberry's role in this process is to forward the necessary claim details to Guardsman, but we do not have influence over the processing time, decisions, or outcomes of claims handled by third-party administrators.

We also want to clarify that the details of your protection plan, including the identity of the administrator, were made available to you at the time of purchase. This information has been accessible through your Mulberry dashboard and was also provided to you by Guardsman in the documentation related to your coverage. It is standard practice in the insurance industry for the administrator or underwriter of a plan to be a third party, and we apologize if this caused any confusion.

As for the note on the denial of the claim: We provide comprehensive warranty terms directly on our website and through several communications, including a detailed welcome email at the time of purchase. These communications direct customers to a dedicated dashboard where all conditions, exclusions, and underwriter information are clearly outlined. Our goal is to ensure transparency and ease of access to all relevant information regarding our warranty coverage.

The technician was courteous

The technician was courteous, prompt and efficient with getting the repair completed. Also explained that the original install was not done correctly but was able to get the appliance back in working order with no issues. All in all a very good example of customer service and well completed work.
