Final resolution: Proof that good customer service, empathy and effort can turn an entire situation around. As you can see, in the beginning I completely felt like I was being scammed and ignored. And while I still feel I shouldn’t have had to reach out so many times to receive a response, the fact that multiple people reached out to resolve my claim and get my feedback completely changed my mind. I will now give Mulberry another chance.
The Director of operations, Kristian, personally called me to get my feedback and actively make improvements to improve their service for future customers and experiences.
Update: After sending an email asking for a supervisor and expressing that it was beginning to feel like a scam, all of my previous emails and phone calls were returned and my claim approved. Now I wait another 7-10 business days to see if it is fully processed and the reimbursement issued as promised. I do appreciate they plan to honor the warranty product and service I paid for, but it is extremely frustrating to have to all but harass them day in and day out in order to receive a response. So while I still would never purchase their product again, if the claim is paid as promised, that’s all I can ask for at the end of the day.
DO NOT waste your time or money. If I could give a zero, I would. I have never had an issue filing a claim with a warranty company and this experience and lack of response is why so many people think warranty companies are scams. I have filed my claim with ALL pertinent information they required. After contacting them over 10 times, the only response I received was to tell me I didn’t provide any information and that I had 7 days to do so or they would close my claim. I provided it yet again, and of course zero response. They offer NO option to contact anyone. Only an automated chat that simply says someone will reach out. And they never do.

It’s been way more than 10 business days without any reply. I pinged multiple times and no reply.

I have had to submit Two claims with Mulberry. The first took a VERY long time, however the company took care of my problem once they understood the full ramifications. The second claim was basic cut and dry. The light quit working. The purchased me a new light. I have been VERY pleased with their service and HIGHLY recommend and aquarium owner to have a policy with Mulberry.

I submitted a claim through Mulberry. Over 2 weeks later they responded saying that I needed to submit the claim through Guardsman. I was on vacation at the time and still took the time to submit the claim less than 48 hours later. I was then told by Guardsman that my claim was submitted one day past the 30-day timeline and am now being told to contact Mulberry. I believe this is a complete scam and I strongly encourage people NOT to purchase insurance on a product through Mulberry.

SCAM. If I could give them 1 star I would. They won't answer the phone, won't answer to my claim, won't answer any of my emails. I got them because they were recommended by Rugs USA BUT NEVER AGAIN will I fall for this scam with Mulberry.
Update: After my review was posted, Mulberry reached out to me. I am waiting to see if this gets resolved or if they really do not honor the warranties as many reviewers claim. If they do honor it, I'll update this review.
Update 2: mulberry fully refunded me after approving my claim. They came through. Not a scam after all and i am very happy to be posting this.

I can't be more impressed with the rapid claim and subsequent replacement of my damaged product. It literally took a day from the time I put my claim in, to a new device being shipped to me. What a seamless process this was. I would not hesitate to purchase other insurance through Mulberry.

My first experience was great with this company. They handled my claim immediately and it was super easy. The second claim I filed, not so much. They refuse to respond to any emails. I’ve been a loyal paying customer for over a year, and recently I filed a claim. I followed all of the requirements set out by my policy, and the company was fast to respond all the way until they just stopped responding to me with no updates. I’ve reached out a handful of times and have no received a response back. Customer service is severely lacking and this company is violating the terms of our agreement. I filed my claim on 9/22/24. On 9/25/24, after submitting all requested documents, I received an email from them stating:
“Thank you for reaching out! Your claim is currently in active review and we will follow up shortly with an update on your claim status. Please note it may take up to 7-10 business days for claims to be processed, although this may vary depending on our current claim volume.”
Today is 11/16/24 and I have sent an email almost weekly inquiring for an update, and no one can take the time to provide one. They had no problem deducting my monthly payment for their service, yet they can’t even respond to an email.

There was a problem with the wire transfer for my claim due to a keystroke error when submitting my account number. Although it was complicated and took a while, the agent for Mulberry did not give up until my claim payment was paid to me. I appreciated efforts taken on my behalf.

I submitted a claim that was approved back in August 2024. A very simple replacement leg for my couch from Interior Define. After it was approved they gave me the run around about when it would be here & then stopped replying to my emails all together. I have emailed them countless times asking about my replacement leg with no response in over a month. It is now November, claim was approved in August.
My experience has been nothing but horrible with Mulberry Technologys. Terrible customer service that I would give -10 stars if this app allowed me to. Do NOT purchase a warranty from them or if something goes wrong, you will be dealing with an incompetent company who basically stole your money.
UPDATE 11/19/24
Finally got my replacement leg & guess what….THEY SENT A ROUND LEG & MY LEGS ARE SQUARE!!!!! Seriously never ends with them & their ability to do their jobs correctly! I received my WRONG leg last week & emailed them immediately and of course still haven’t heard back from them. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE & DO NOT PURCHASE A WARRANTY FROM MULBERRY TECHNOLOGY!!!!

I covered a $4,000 couch bought from Interior Define paying Mulberry $200 for nothing. When the couch got stained and I showed them pictures, they said they would only cover singular accidents and presented me with excuses as to why the coverage didn't apply. I would not waste money on Mulberry anymore.

If anything goes wrong with your equipment, they will deny your claim no matter how much information you provide. Their go to line is you didn't provide correct information. They have a D- rating with the better business bureau and are not an accredited company. 100's of complaints of Mulberry denying claims. When I challenged their decision, they cancelled my warranty with no refund.

His demeanour was warm , professional and he was able to resolve my issues with empathy and understanding.
