We are sorry that you experienced this problem. That is one for draw backs of the Exams from Home test screen. The exam window is fixed to a set dimension that cannot be changed. The exam window is about 80% of your monitor size. If using a very small monitor screen this could prove problematic.
Fix: Certiport recommends a minimum screen resolution of 1280 x 800. This will increase the size of the exam window on smaller monitors.

We apologize that this was your experience. This is absolutely not the norm. All exams start with several pages of instructions. Our testers are provided all the time needed to read the instructions. The exam timer does not start until the first question appears on the screen, so there is no rush in reading the instructions.
When taking the Microsoft Office Specialist exams, our testers are sent a video to watch that shows the proper way to nagivate through the exam: The video will provide additional guidance for the exam: https://vimeo.com/504832659.
Our proctors remain connected to testers for the full duration of their exams and are willing and able to answer questions about any portion of the exams.
If our proctor was unable to answer how the exam was scored, it was based on the following information directly from Certiport: It is Certiport’s policy to not provide additional documentation regarding certification passing scores or other exam metrics that may be considered proprietary information.

Proctor was very nice. The only negative was that my email with the link didn’t arrive very early and I was nervous that I’d missed my test since there was no communication.

Virtual is the way to go!
This was the best testing experience I’ve ever had! I have only done in-person certification exams before, and I am so glad I opted for a virtual exam session this time! The proctor was straightforward, helpful and responded quickly. I will definitely be coming back for my future certifications!

Easy, intuitive, and convenient
Easy and intuitive. The ability to take the test online was convenient. The proctor was respectful and prompt. Definitely recommending this company as long as they continue the online testing. I live 5-8 hours between certified testing facilities and I’ll continue to pay the extra fee to save myself valuable time. Please continue online testing even after covid!
