We booked an appointment with Phawa and was so nervous beforehand. She did an amazing job reassuring us and helping us to find all the options of customisation to the ring we wanted. I truly couldn't have come to the decision to buy without phawas help. She took the most accurate measurement of my ring finger which no other jewelry has managed to get correct before and we'll as helping us really understand the finer details of the stine we chose and the alterations of the band. Thank you so much Phawa, I was very shy when speaking with you but you really were the best sales associate to work with!

Having looked across many vendors for an engagement ring, we were delighted to find Flawless Fine Jewellery. Along with competitive prices, the service and ring specifications were above many of the high street chains we spoke to. Maria was incredibly knowledgeable and a great pleasure dealing with whilst finding our ring and diamond.

I never expected to be changing my original 5 star review to 1 star, but unfortunately my experience after the sale has completely changed my opinion.

Initially, Maria was fantastic. During the CAD design stage I decided to change the diamond shape after placing my order, and she was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I genuinely felt looked after, which is why I originally left a glowing review before the ring had even been completed.

Once the ring was ready, however, everything changed.

I’d already paid a 50% deposit and received an email saying my ring was ready for collection. There was no mention whatsoever of a collection deadline or risk of losing my deposit.

Unfortunately, between placing the order and the ring being finished, my girlfriend’s health took a serious turn for the worse. Proposing was no longer my priority, so I messaged to apologise for not collecting the ring and explained what had happened. My message about my partner’s health was completely disregarded the first time around. Instead, I was simply told that the remaining balance had to be paid within 45 days.

I replied saying that was absolutely fine and that I’d come in within those 45 days.

The very next day I then received another message saying that I actually only had 6 days remaining, because the 45 day period had apparently started from an earlier date that had never been communicated to me. I was told that if I didn’t pay within those six days, the ring would be returned to stock and my deposit would be forfeited.

The frustrating part is that this was never about money. I was fully intending to pay for the ring. I simply wanted them to hold it because my girlfriend was seriously ill and I wasn’t in a position to propose. I even asked whether they could send me a payment link so I could settle the balance remotely if I couldn’t make it into the showroom in time.

What disappointed me most wasn’t that they have terms and conditions every business does. It was the complete lack of empathy or flexibility despite knowing the circumstances, and the inconsistent communication around the payment deadline.

As someone who was genuinely excited to recommend Flawless Fine Jewellery to friends and family, this experience has completely changed my opinion. In fact, one of my closest friends recently asked me where he should buy an engagement ring. Instead of recommending Flawless which would have had no benefit for myself, I shared the specifications and price of my own ring so he could take them elsewhere. They’ve missed out on at least 2 clients because of the way this transaction ended but maybe that isn’t that important to them.

It’s a real shame because the service before payment was excellent. Unfortunately, the way I was treated afterwards has overshadowed what started as a very positive experience.

Brilliant service! I booked a virtual appointment through the website and received a WhatsApp message from Maria the very next day.
