Purchased two lights costing £450, two weeks ago. Not heard a peep. Emailed support twice, no responce. tried live chat, no one there. now looking at Trust Pilot I wished I had read these reviews first. Will be contacting my bank straight away to see if there's anything that can be done.

Products coming from China, order placed 6 weeks ago, still not delivered; it seems lost somewhere btw China and UK. I contacted the ''customer service'' numerous times but never got a reply. What a disgrace.

Having read these reviews after placing my order, I attempted to cancel, but found that there is no phone number on their website, just an email address which nobody responds to. After waiting 24 hours for a response to my email, I attempted to use their 'live' online chat, however it took 7 days for me to receive a response, by which time I was told that even though the light I ordered still hadn't left their warehouse, I had conveniently exceeded their 120 hours free cancellation limit, and would therefore have to pay full price for the goods, and could only receive a refund for the shipping fees

This company is not a UK company as they advised.
Ordered two lampshades,and only one arrived which came directly from China. The one that arrive is not a rattan lampshade and is dirty on the base.
Emailed them several times and had no response. Disgusting how companies get away with this and the consumer has to suffer financially.
Avoid this company at all costs!!

Ordered light because they claimed to have an easy returns policy. I have followed the instructions to contact their support for returns info and, despite 3 emails within the required time, I have received no response.

So far BAD!! Will tune back in once I’ve hopefully sorted my situation out but it’s not looking good for now

Please can someone help me with a return and refund.
When I placed my order in November I only thought to look at trust pilot after paying. Now I can see the order is not from the UK, despite their claim to have UK warehouses.
None of the items were as I expected and, according to the site I can get a full refund. This returns policy was why I was comfortable buying in the first place.

Please can someone tell me how I can do this?? No one is replying to my emails.

Dodgy dodgy! Do not buy from them! Received my super expensive light looking absolutely nothing like it did on the website. Emailed numerous times to return and refund. Not only did I not receive a response they then pulled the specific light off their website. In the end thankfully AmEx refunded me. Hope they follow it up and close them down for good.

I ordered this light online, the pictures looked great. I selected "standard delivery" - it arrived after a month having been sent directly from China. When I opened the box the light was broken. I have emailed customer services 3 times in the past week (no phone number provided), and have not yet had a response. This company doesn't appear to have any UK presence (despite a .co.uk address).

Do not buy from this company. I spent £230 on a light which arrived looking nothing like the picture shown online. Goods come from China despite appearing to be a UK company. I have receive no response to my request for a refund so will have to try and claim back via my credit card company.

I placed an order and didn't hear anything back and then read lots of bad reviews on here, so I panicked wrote them an email to try and cancel it. I was pleasantly surprised when I got an email back the next day to say it had been dispatched (you should notify customers straight away too really @demolights!!), and it arrived shortly after (probably 2 weeks from order) very well packaged and actually very nicely made. I don't know about the wicker or rattan stuff but we got a bamboo shade that was just what we hoped for. I think it would be really useful for customers to let them know that products are coming from China and to give an indication of delivery times.

There is no way of contacting this company, other than email which they tend not to reply to!! I have been waiting over three weeks now for my light and it is still not here....it says on the website 'quick delivery', which it blatantly isn't . Apparently (reading other reviews) the goods come from China - if I had known I wouldn't have ordered!!!!!

I wish there was an option not to give any stars to this company or that I had done my homework prior to ordering.... The website looks great and I didn't realise we the goods were coming from China. I have placed my order 19 October and only received this week (04 December) despite chasing several times without a reply. The quality doesn't match the pictures and customer service is pretty much inexistent. I would without shadow of a doubt stay away from this company!

Still have not received anything and the order was placed a month ago. Sent emails but have not had a response. This is not a UK company and they do not have a contact number.

Terrible company, no customer service, shade looked lovely quality in online pictures, very different from the quality of the product that arrived. No response to repeat request to return. Expensive mistake for me for a cheap looking shade, could have bought better at a budget store for a quarter of the price. Please please avoid.
Update, eventual response from Demolights, I could return item but to China, cheapest option was £75 , I was reluctant to do that so negotiated a reduced price via a partial refund, Demolights were very helpful with this option. Still somewhat unhappy as paid for a light I don’t want but didn’t fancy spending more money with a chance it could get damaged in transit etc and they’d refuse to refund, so this was the best option.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I spent a fortune on lights with this company.
Finally after a three month wait, two boxes arrived. One box was crushed and had shards of glass inside where several glass elements to the light had broken.
After talking to half a dozen (clearly made up names) on email, who asked me to explain the issue again every time, I got tired and went via a PayPal
Dispute and the company gave a small refund rather than just sending the broken replacement parts (which is literally all I wanted).

I then had to find another Chinese company to ship me the broken parts I needed, as no UK seller stocks them.

An LED bulb in the light then literally exploded one night and then the LED bulbs broke one by one over the next month. We’re now having them all replaced and the electrics tested by an electrician.

Complete and utter rubbish. I wouldn’t give them any stars if possible. Despite UK website they are a Chinese company. They didn’t acknowledge or respond to any of my emails requesting a refund. Products are not dispatched in 24 hours, it took nearly a month for 3 lampshades to arrive. I paid nearly £500 and you wouldn’t pay £10 for them. They are total crap, most of it is plastic rather than wicker. Disgusting rip off. Never buy from this company!!!

SCAM! Do not use this website. It is a confirmed scam. They take money, do not deliver, and contact is a bogus email address to which there are no responses.

This company is a scam. It is not a uk company, and it falsely advertises items. They will not respond to you after sales.

We ordered a light which looked great on the picture. It arrives in 5 weeks from China, and it is nothing like the picture. It's extremely poorly put together, with very cheap materials, considering it was a £239. We cannot get in touch. We feel that we have actually been scammed by this. Please do not use this company.

Payment made and no order received. No response to number plus emails. I checked the reviews initially and saw the good reviews, and now I can see how many bad reviews the site actually has received. I will be calling my bank tomorrow to try and block the payment if possible.
