I ordered “Once Upon a time” to complete our reading nook. You can tell how much care and effort was put into this beautifully handmade wire art.
Wait times are made clear when ordering and the finished product is well worth the wait.
Will definitely order again from this seller positive experience all round. 😀

I have ordered from Curly Characters and I was not disappointed! My sign is absolutely beautiful and looks so nice in my daughter’s nursery.
The vendor told me there was a 10 week turnaround and that was fine with me and it arrived 10/11 weeks from initial order.
Would happily order again and I will be! Makes the perfect gift!

Ordered an item stated around a 10 week turnaround which was not a problem as it was stated so I knew it what to expect. Chloe messaged to confirm colours and that she was making the item it was then sent and received a few days later. It was a week or 2 more than the 10 week turnaround but it’s expected from a small business that manes beautiful items, it was no problem at all. It was definitely worth the wait and I will be ordering more in the future. Thankyou x

Couldn’t recommend this business enough! The quality of the signs are absolutely outstanding & amazingly priced! My kids was absolutely over the moon with them as was I😊 they look absolutely amazing in my kids bedrooms 10/10 would order again a million times over, completely worth the wait! Thank you Chloe💗

I’ve ordered twice from curly characters, first in 2024 and again in 2025. Both times I was aware of the 10 week turnaround and this was pretty much met as expected.
The items I received are both lovely - once upon a time words sign and a name hoop & really look beautiful in my children’s bedrooms.
I came across curly characters when I was decorating my little boys room & couldn’t believe the prices were so low compared to elsewhere, the long turn around time is definitely worth it & the items are more than worth what she charges.
I wouldn’t hesitate to order from her again in future.

I ordered a name for my daughter and then later decided to order one for my unborn baby too - I messaged if it was ok to add to my order and was given a free delivery code so both could be delivered at the same time. Both arrived in the expected time frame and I love them! Especially love the rainbow colours. Think they’re a very good price point so worth the wait.

Similar to others, I was told 6-10 week turnaround and eventually waited 13 weeks in total. When I contacted the company via Instagram, I received one reply saying turnaround was 10 weeks then another saying orders were behind schedule. I received an email saying the parcel was dispatched on the 7th but the tracking said it wasn’t sent until 13th.

The item looks lovely but is quite flimsy compared to another knitted sign I have. This required bending back into shape on arrival.
I was asked to leave a positive review for my item.

I think this has the potential to be a great business but maybe taking on too many orders at a time and unable to fulfil within the deadlines and keep on top of communication and dispatching orders. Customers would appreciate being updated when running behind schedule or new expected arrival times.

I ordered via Instagram and knew straight away there was going to be a long wait time which is understandable for handmade stuff and if someone is working alone. One of the colours I asked for was out of stock. I was asked if there was another one I would like to which I asked Chloe to just choose one similar for me to which she did and it is GORGEOUS. I bought 2 for both my daughters and I absolutely LOVE them! They are clearly made with love and passion and the colours are beautiful.

Absolutely lovely sign, I messaged the seller for an update on my order and she was very quick at replying and so professional definitely recommend

I understood when ordering that there would be a long wait which I was more than happy to do. I was over the moon when my order arrived and was better than I had imagined. The colours match my daughter’s room decor perfectly. Chloe messaged me regarding the colours and kept me in the loop. Honestly couldn’t be happier with my order. Handmade items take time. This was definitely worth the wait and great value for money.

I ordered a door sign from Curly Characters at the beginning of April, fully understanding and accepting the stated turnaround time of up to 10 weeks. However, it has now been 13 weeks and I have still not received my order.

What’s more frustrating is that the business is actively promoting discount codes and claiming a 4-week turnaround on social media, which feels misleading considering older orders like mine remain unfulfilled. I have reached out multiple times regarding my order but have been completely ignored.

At this point, I am requesting a full refund and will be reporting this issue to Trading Standards due to the lack of communication and failure to deliver the product as promised. Extremely disappointing experience — I would not recommend.

I ordered on 10th March with the understanding of a 10 week wait.
It's now 8th July I have messaged constantly via Instagram, website, whatsapp and email asking for an update with no reply.
Constantly posting offers online and now states 4 weeks turnaround yet hasn't fulfilled mine after 4 months?
I received a text in June asking to pick a colour to which I replied but have had nothing since.
Honestly the service is dreadful, I have been very understanding with supplier delays but as a paying customer sommuncation is key.
I still don't have the item nor been offered a refund.
Constantly ignored.
Do not use this company I am so disheartened.
I would never treat anyone like this!

Waited 16 weeks when it was a ‘6-10 week turnaround’ asked for a refund, didn’t reply for weeks and then ended up blocking me, I don’t have the item or the refund, But yet she’s still advertising deals and ready made products to post?! STAY AWAY, Scam!!

Like many of the other reviews I was scammed. Took my money but didn't make the order and then she wouldn't reply to any of my messages. I had complete understanding and was willing to wait up to 6 months for it but she just wanted the money and not deliver the goods. Anyone who goes through this needs to report her to trading standards so this doesn't keep happening to people and apply to get your money back.

I would not recommend this business.
I ordered two items in March that were meant to be gifts. The turnaround time on the website says up to 10 weeks and you have to confirm that this is ok when purchasing.
10 weeks passed by and there had been no update to my order and it had not been delivered. Multiple emails were ignored by the seller. Eventually my social media message was responded to & the business owner said that it was not her main job and that she was running behind but gave me no timeframe even when requested and my messages following this were ignored again and again.
The communication is incredibly poor and the time management is awful. There is a backlog of orders but yet the business still advertises discounts and deals on their social media platform (whilst ignoring messages from customers), instead of focusing on the already very delayed orders placed.
It is such a shame because the items when they finally arrived in July are really lovely, but at this point I was unable to gift them as it had taken so long for them to come.

The business needs to work on their communication and time management as I believe that their items are very lovely, but the rest of the business management really lets them down.

The end product that was made is absolutely beautiful! It does need to be handled with a lot of care however when it is hung, it looks lovely. There was a slight delay and they had run out of one of the thread colours I had requested but the issue was sorted. It is made very clear when ordering that it can take a while however an update along the process would’ve been appreciated. Overall though it is lovely and I would order again for a present for someone.

REPORT TO TRADING STANDARDS LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IS TO TRY AND GET YOUR MONEY BACK! Claim through paypal or your bank! She will take your money and give you nothing - prime example in the other reviews!

Awful, total scammer as everyone has said. Do not fall for the sob stories, I appreciate that people get ill and that can’t be helped but plenty of decent business owners have to deal with illness all the time and they do not treat their customers in this way. Order placed July 2024…..no communication for about 9 months now. I have sent numerous messages asking on the status of my order which have not been responded to. Yet she has the time to make new reels on Instagram telling you about her latest offers or how awfully she’s been treated by customers etc. etc. Please do not purchase from this person, if you already have then get onto your bank for a refund and report to Trading Standards.

Fab small business, Chloe made both my daughters signs with love & care. New colours came in after I set my order and Chloe was fab when I asked to change the colours. Chloe’s communication was great. Amazing purchases, lots of compliments & have recommended Curly-Characters to family & Friends. Thank you Chloe.

Really good experience with curly characters, the order came within the time stated and look absolutely beautiful in my daughters bedroom. Would definitely recommend☺️
