3 beautiful handmade names, ordered and delivered around 10 week wait mark, however communicated when messages etc. zero issues, and will 100% be ordering from again.

Don’t order from this company. I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing however, from her website and social media this company appeared legit however is nothing but a scam.
I placed an order on the 2nd February when her turn around time stated 6-8 weeks and have never received my items.
Chloe contacted me in April stating she had changed her colours and no longer had the colours I chose to which I then chose new colours as she informed me she was making my order that weekend.
Following this Chloe ignored all my messages regarding my order, I contacted her on text, email , through PayPal AND Instagram on several occasions all to which have never been responded to.
This company continues to advertise products and sales however cannot provide people with orders they have paid for.
Customer service is absolutely shocking, and I would avoid purchasing at all costs unless you want to give money away. I requested a refund on multiple occasions and also tried to get my money back through PayPal with no success. Please don’t make the same mistake I did buying from this seller.

Wish I could give 0 stars. AVOID.

Don’t bother ordering unless you fancy giving your hard earned money for someone to essentially steal it. Actually disgusting behaviour. There’s a reason this ‘company’ does not allow public comments on their instragram…

Complete scam company. Only reason Instagram is getting her custom is because you can't leave a review and she's turned off commenting on her posts. Facebook and trustpilot reviews speak for themselves. Why trading standards haven't shut this woman down I don't know. Please save your money and avoid this company... there are plenty of other wonderful small businesses out there that make these items.

Ignore negative reviews, it clearly states when ordering there is a 10 week lead time. It was communicated on Instagram that the lead time was longer than usual when I ordered. I waited 11 weeks for two name hoops, really lovely products and an excellent finish, I would highly recommend curly characters.

Waited 10 weeks to be messaged the day before the order was due to be told it was out of stock. Absolutely disgusting AVOID AVOID AVOID

I ordered from Curly Characters and was fully aware of the up to 10 week lead time. I must admit after ordering I was worried about all the negative reviews being posted on here.
I did send a message via the website about my order for an update but didn’t get a reply.
However on week 11 I received a message apologising for the delay to my order & to say my order was being made next but one of the colour yarns I had chosen was out of stock, I had the option to wait a few days for it to be ordered or choose another colour which I did and photos were sent to me to confirm which new colour was being used.
Items were then made that day, I saw them on instagram and then posted straight out. I’m thrilled with the name hoops, beautifully made and something I could never of done myself.
If you are happy to wait and remember Curly Characters is a small business then you won’t be disappointed with the quality when the items arrive.

Don’t believe a word they say about turn around times. I waited the 6-10 weeks (10 weeks) and had to message for an update. Every response comes 3-4 days later even though they are active on Instagram sharing work they’ve done and other special offers. Each update I got was an excuse after excuse about no stock, supplier issue, back log etc, and then no replies at all. 17 weeks and still no product or update after multiple queries from myself.
Got a refund from pay pal in the end and still no communication from the seller at all.

Don’t fall for the good offers, you will NEVER get your items. Shocking service and customer service skills awful aswell.

Ordered a sign for my baby girls room, was aware of the 10week turn around and happy with this. I enquired about the eta of my order just before the 10weeks and I got a pleasant response from the seller updating me. My order arrived a little over the 10weeks but again this was communicated.
The item arrived as expected and looks lovely in my little girls room. I see negative reviews about turn around time but approx 10weeks is stated which you have to acknowledge before placing the order. I think people should remember this is a small business, the prices are very reasonable and I’m sure if they enquired politely to the seller they would receive a nice response like I did.
I would not hesitate ordering again in the future, great value for money!

Very active on instagram account promoting deals yet says she has 10 week turnaround, then when 10 weeks passes, you contact to see when delivery will occur- if you’re luckily you may get a message back, this happened for several more weeks. Was approx 5months! Requested a refund finally got one!

Seems to be a theme that orders aren’t completed in time given, which would be fine if that was communicated!
Wish I read the reviews would have saved me time & less of a headache!

Company also post on instagram they don’t understand why their reviews are bad. So they have clearly a lack of insight!!

If I could put 0 I would l, she acts like she doesn’t understand why people get annoyed with the service she provides but it’s July and still waiting since I ordered in February, I’ve asked for constant updates since may. She then had decided to let me know the colours were out of stock after waiting 12 weeks!! Honestly avoid, she cries wolf on Instagram saying she doesn’t want to do promotions anymore then within a week posts one but don’t send out orders she already got. she now refuses to respond. I suppose if you’re a lucky one to get your order the product might be nice! But nope. How she is allowed to trade still is beyond me! PayPal must be pissed off with the amount of refunds they have to sort.
Give up.

We received our cloud name in February this year, and love it. They are so reasonably priced, look fab and are definitely worth the wait. Perfect entry sign for our baby boy’s first bedroom.

My friend has just moved to her forever home, I came across the Ad for these and thought they were the perfect gift! Well worth the wait as they're beautifully handmade. (Although 2 months isn't extreme at all for a small business)
I now need to order more for my own children!

Yes there is a long turnaround but so worth it for the amount of effort and time that goes into each and every item!!! Thank you so much for making my son's perfect nursery decoration! They are stunning, and all the variety in colours!

I absolutely love all the items that I’ve ordered, I think we’ve had 4 in total now. Communication was great and timely. I was always made aware on how my order was getting on when I asked.

I did receive my order in the end, but it was over the 10 week turnaround time, and she ignored my messages on IG for days asking where my order was on week 12, despite seeing the messages.
I replied with a “??” three days after my first message and she told me not to be rude.
She posted a story tonight with similar comments from another customer and said she was so upset by her comments, which was basically another person asking where their order was and she replied “you’re really upsetting me, do you want this order or not.”
I did reply to the story to say use it as constructive criticism as I had a similar experience, and I’m now blocked.
Sounds like the potential to be a great business but run by someone who’s not managing to keep up with orders or basic customer service, despite running yet another promotion on her IG page.

I patiently waited the 10 week turn around. I received it week 11 with the postage. Very happy with my product

I’ve ordered twice from this lovely company and both times the product has come and has done looking amazing! I’ve ordered safari animals and my daughter’s name in a hoop. Both products have had so many compliments from family and friends. Some items may have taken longer than the predicted turn around time but it’s one lady working on her own so to be expected☺️
I definitely recommend and will be ordering again from this amazing company🤍

This company posted screen shots of a conversation where a customer was asking for a refund because she’d had no communication and no product received. The company asked why she’s receiving messages like that and I replied stating probably because her communication was poor and the company just blocked me without even replying. I guess that’s why’s she’s got awful reviews because she’s an awful company. Shocking.

Ordered a large order of personalised items, I think it ended up being around 11 names in total. They are all perfect and were loved by everyone that we gifted them to. The colours are beautiful and a great match to the ones shown on the website as examples.

I had a few questions regarding a long name (7 letters) and a question about payment prior to ordering and all messages were replied to within 24 hours via Instagram.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a thoughtful, handmade gift x
