Wish I could write a good review but unfortunately I am still waiting on my item that I ordered in May 2024 such a shame, I’ve sent several emails with no reply just sad as it was for my sons room and can’t actually afford to purchase another from another seller.

I ordered 3 name pieces and 1x quote and the turnaround was exactly what I expected. All came beautifully presented and the recipients of the gifts I had brought for absolutely loved them! I will be ordering more in the next few weeks! They make great gifts and love supporting a fellow mum with a small business x

Received our beautiful name cloud, star and lightening strike for our babies nursery. Perfectly made, reasonably priced for the work completed, and arrived within expected timescales (around 14 weeks). A great small business, with my experience I would recommend to friends and family, and say it is worth the wait, but to handle with great care! x

I ordered after seeing an ad on FB. Once I placed my order I found some awful reviews and instantly thought what have I done. I however waited a couple of weeks and then received an email that my order was dispatched and when it arrived I was so impressed! The products are beautiful. I ordered a name for my baby that is due shortly and also for my twin nieces I got the fluffy rainbow cloud names which are stunning. They love them and another name for my nephew in a cloud. Absolutely perfect! Please do not let the negative reviews put you off but if you do order patiently wait for the provided timescales.

Ordered 2 items (6th April) that were already ready to be sent out weeks went by so I asked where my items were she said she will look into it and get back to me & then I never heard from her again ignored all my messages which I was polite in.
So now I’m out of pocket ordered over 2 months ago now so deffo never going to get the items.

Avoid seems she does this a lot to people

I placed an order and there was an issues with my transaction, I waiting until my bank confirmed and the paid again. I waited way after the time for delivery and then contacted to say no order received. Communication was good but saying a Royal Mail issue, but the more I chased my order then the communication stopped. I was always polite and understanding but then she kept posting on Instagram about rude customers which is so annoying as she was blaming the customers all the time but when you don’t send orders then you have to expect people are going annoyed to which I never did! I gave up chasing my order but feel she just moans about rude customers but doesn’t accept she is in the wrong by keeping people’s money when she hasn’t provided the goods

i made an order for my sons birthday in june 2024 one whole year ago which by her 10 week turn around period should have been done in good time before his first birthday in september 2024 but it was missed and he didn’t get this gift for his birthday. i was wondering if he’ll even get it as a christmas gift at this point? it’s now june 2025 and i haven’t received anything! i have messaged her multiple times but met with an automated message or a very rude reply full of excuses, this was a 30£ order for my sons first birthday! she said she’d issue a refund in march 2025 but 3 months later absolutely nothing! i’m not sure where to go from here but do not order from this woman!!

Ordered two names for my girls bedroom, and I absolutely love them! They can take up to 10 weeks but they are worth the wait. We get so many compliments on them! Thank you!

Ordered two signs, both came within the timescales given. Can appreciate this is not the same for every order as the lady does this in her spare time. The items are beautiful and well worth the wait!

I tried to make a wired name myself without succession, yes they're tricky and hard work! I came across Curly Characters on Instagram and knew I had to order. I chose my colours and it stated 10 week turnaround, yes it's a long time but Chloe is honest with her timings.

I messaged on week 10 and politely enquired for an update. I didn't receive a reply but a few days later I received a Wattsapp message with some photos of new yarn colour offers as the ones I selected had been discontinued.

Within a few days I saw my order pictured on Instagram, it looked great. Yes my order took over 10 weeks and I guessed it would be longer than the initial time stated going by the reviews but I didn't care. It was so beautifully packaged there's no way it would have arrive damaged. There was so much care and thought put into it.

I don't feel the need to leave a bad review or slate Curly Characters. I wouldn't imagine she makes very much profit from what she makes.

I'm a genuine customer, I don't know this lady personally, I've only popped on to leave a review and was shocked at the recent negativity.

Please be kind, is there really any need to be so horrible when there's already so much hate in this world.

Really lovely product and very high quality. It is made obvious that you have to wait ten weeks for your order when you place the order so don’t be surprised when you are waiting ten weeks. The signs are lovely and perfect for a babies nursery/children’s bedroom.

I brought a ‘ready to post’ item in March. Having purchased a customised order previously with no issues (I was aware of the 10 week turn around time) I didn’t hesitate to order again, it was a beautiful item.

A few weeks after purchase it hadn’t arrived. I messaged the seller and she assured me she would check to see if it had been dispatched, and come back to me. I was never rude or impolite. The seller stoped replying. It’s now June 2025, still no order. I’ve now requested a refund, but I doubt I will get one or a response.

I appreciate that things happen for a small business and delay things. I myself run a small business but the lack of communication is wrong. It’s a shame because it makes people think twice before they order from a small business again.

Chloe from curly characters is a fantastic seller, she was thoughtful from start to finish with our order for our girls rooms and playroom. I have no doubt that I’d buy more from her, the items were more than worth the wait. She was considerate and helpful, gave advice on what would work with our order and was so helpful. We have had so many compliments about them.

After looking at the stories thinking “what amazing products” I couldn’t wait to place an order for at the time “bump” daughters nursery”
21st December 2024 I placed my order, again happy to wait for the “up to 10 weeks” waiting time, but 10 weeks past, even 20 weeks past still nothing. I’ve emailed, DMd, WhatsApp you name it, had a couple of responses to say “still working through the 10 week waits”
I contacted Citizens advice who said they would be in contact with trading standards, also forwarded my letter of complaint and just wanted a refund for the goods, again STILL no reply.
Please don’t bother with this small business, it seems like orders are hit & miss and if you miss you will get zero communication & your money gone! Gutted to be honest as the product looked amazing, and I’ve now been scammed.

I received my items are they really are beautiful so please don’t give up what you are doing. However, I think it really rubs people up the wrong way when they can see you’re open for more orders when they are still waiting weeks after their items are expected.

As I say, dont give up but maybe just manage your work load to what is realistic and achievable for you!

Will buy again. Thank you for my orders and don’t let people get you down, you’re in control! Remember that! 💗💗💗

Wish I’d read the reviews first. Don’t bother ordering. I had no problem waiting the timescale provided, Chloe then reached out for me to pick my colours, sent me a picture of the product which was made. I then chased as had been a couple of weeks so expected it to be delivered. She said she has accidentally sent my order to another person who wasn’t replying to her and she doubt she would hear back but would remake. That’s the last I heard of her! I’ve been contacting her asking for updates for weeks but no response, completely blanking me on WhatsApp and Instagram. She clearly has too many orders to keep up a decent customer service, I asked for a refund if she wasn’t able to remake but again, no response so have disputed with my bank. Don’t waste your time on this as it seems very hit and miss as to if you’re lucky and get something or if she will just take your money and ignore you.

Absolutely disgusted with this woman/company. Ordered my item in March, still nothing. She contacted me to inform me that she cannot get the colours anymore (I already knew this back in March) so more time wasted and waiting for my order. Said she would get it out to me, still nothing. How you can treat people like this is absolutely disgusting. SCAM!!! AVOID!!!!! Clearly the positive reviews are all fake…. 😂😂😂

I’ve been waiting 6 months today for my items I’ve emailed I’ve messaged I’ve tagged and I’ve had nothing back. I will now be sending a recorded letter with notice to her. If she doesn’t refund my money I will either drive to her address or file a small claims because she’s nothing but a disgusting scammer!

20 weeks later I’ve still no order. I’ve been very patient, emailed and messaged and given plenty time to respond but I get absolutely nothing. I’ve since asked for a refund but I’m not holding my breath.
Certain this must be a scam, are the positive reviews real?

Wait time was ages. At the time of ordering i was told 6-10 weeks. At 10bweeks I made contact to asks where theyvwere. She apologised for the delay. At 11 weeks I was told that there was a colour change. Not the end of the world as theyvwere similar but a little frustrating. 12 weeks from the time of ordering. Beautiful when they did arrive though. Would recommend if you dont mind waiting 3 months
