Our experience of pre-arranging our funerals was excellent. Shelley talked us through everything and was most concerned that we understood everything. We would thoroughly recommend Co-op Funeralcare for peace of mind.

The member of staff was very nice and the meeting is a scripted process. Two sides to this - consistency of approach for COOP but restricted in conversation for client. Nevertheless all areas are covered appropriately and clearly. Absolutely no pressure at all with type of funeral or method of payment.

This is my 2nd experience with Co-op Funeralcare in Leighton Buzzard. Both times I found ghem helpful, patient and sympathetic. The funeral for my husband was exactly as planned and everyone was very respectful.

Made the appointment easy for myself and my daughter, explained I was a bit deaf and he spoke very slowly and clear to me.

Was very easy to fill in the form, It was one of the hardest things to do , but had to be done, for my family , the only thing is you can only put one name in to collect the ashes, I would of liked to put two names on the form

The text you sent has an error in it. Who may need are services. That line. The funeral shop were very helpful, they scanned my I.D and sent it to Angela, she was very helpful and lovely to talk to.

We cannot speak highly enough of Karen, the Branch Manager at Co-operative Funeralcare in Purley.

From the moment we met her, Karen was exceptional, compassionate, caring, professional and incredibly supportive throughout one of the most difficult times for our family.

Karen personally ensured that every aspect of our dad’s funeral was handled with dignity and attention to detail. She coordinated everything, from his collection and preparation through to liaising with the funeral directors and cemetery, organising the service and helping with the reception following our dad’s Celebration of Life.

Nothing was ever too much trouble. Karen listened carefully to everything we wanted and made sure all of our requests were met.

Most importantly, she made us feel that our dad and our family genuinely mattered. Her kindness and reassurance took an enormous amount of pressure away from us and allowed us to concentrate on giving our dad the beautiful and dignified farewell he deserved.

The entire day was handled beautifully, and we will always be grateful to Karen for everything she did for our family.

Karen is an absolute credit to Co-operative Funeralcare, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her and the Purley branch.

My fathers funeral and care.... The service lead by Steve was excellent. We could not ave wished for it to be better. Chris the Civil Funeral Celebrant was amazing and the words he spoke were great.
Now for the reason I leave 1 star. The price for a basic service was astronomical £2000 more expensive for the same service as other funeral directors in the area. We did not choose them by the way, the paramedic rang them, to collect my dad. All the promises Sarah made were broken, like letting me know when ny dad would be ready to be seen, he was left all weekend whilst my mum who was panicking could have gone to see him, and the 7 day always available promise was a load of rubbish as they did not answer messages. miss-typed letters with wrong times on that upset my mum as she then didn't know which was correct and again nobody to get hold of over the weekend. When I did confront them about it Sarah just said Sorry you feel that way, patronizing as though nothing was wrong and it was all in our heads. She couldn't even bring herself to apologies. the mistakes mentioned above were just some of the errors.
For the money paid We expected perfection and other than Steve it was a disgrace. Trying to sell extras all the time. They wanted to make an astronomical profit on the flowers for the top of the coffin, but as I already knew the person we were getting flowers from we were saved that rip off, by the way the same florists that they use. they didn't even do anything with the flowers as Julie delivered them to the funeral home.
Overall disgusting selling practices and even when we went to pick up the ashes they tried selling trinkets.
Not genuine sympathy when followed by can we sell you something else. Avoid if you want a good amount of respect and your money in your bank account and not theirs

I phoned the Shipley Co-op for funeral information, the lady Patricia was wonderful, she helped me all the way through.i arranged my husband's and my own funerals, now I have no worries at all.

Really straightforward to purchase a plan online. The process was well explained
