I found dealing with Co-op Funeralcare incredibly straightforward. Filling in all the necessary information was very easy and reassuring throughout the entire process as it was explained at each step. I would definitely recommend.

When my father in law died he had a plan with the coop.
The service we received was second to none.
Becca the funeral director looked after us from start to finish and Laurie in the funeral home home took great care of dad in the chapel of rest
We could not fault the service we received at all From the lads who picked him up from the care home to men and woman who carried him in to the crematorium We would definitely recommend the coop.

Very professional and explained every step very clearly.

All in all an easy way of getting sorted out for an easy funeral arrangements.

The CoOp have looked after both my parents Celebration of Life and we're excellent.

First would like to thank Fiona who sorted out our plans we did 3 plans and she was so very good at explaining everything we had to know. We chose the Co-op as they have been around many years and we could do it face to face . I have used them before for both my parents and they was very understanding all them years ago. Price was good as well and family have not got to worry about a thing even with the ashes we in person are having them put over crematoriam so they have got no worry. Thankyou so much gor all your help.

Organising my direct cremation online was straightforward and easy to do. Very satisfied

Everything was explained in full detail. All questions we had were answered fully giving us peace of mind. Steve was very professional and dealt with us in a most pleasing and friendly manner.

They were very professional, answering every query honestly. We never felt that we were being persuaded to do anything that we were not instigating.

I found the website easy to navigate and find the prices, options I needed. The online purchase process was easy to follow. I received the documents promptly.

Only give 4 stars as I would have like the option to have a wicker coffin and only 1 limousine car . But apparently you can only have the choice of 2 coffins .
Apparently you can put it on a special wishes form and be sorted out and paid for after your passed away .

Apart from that the young man was very professional.

I was feeling a bit yuk at the thought of arranging my own funeral. But the Lady i was interviewed by Ms J Byrnes in there Breck Rd office not only made it quite easy to choose but talked me and a friend through everything that you could possibly think of regarding a funeral plan.
Also she never at any point recommended anything that I wouldn't have wanted for myself or my friend.
So we both came away very satisfied with the plans we had chosen.
I was surprised that my funeral has not cost me an arm and a leg but includes everything that I wanted.
My friend lost his sister January gone and the co op did the funeral and it was exactly has he had ordered, and the staff were absolutely fantastic. This is the reason I have given 5 stars.
I don't often recommend companies but in this case I will.
P.S. if you are a member of the co op give them your membership number for a bonus

I trust the Co-op's long-term reliability. While their funeral plans are somewhat inflexible and none of them gave me what I really wanted, my trust in the Co-op was my main reason to buy. They are also good value in my comparison with another provider.

I was looking to purchase a straightforward non attended cremation pre paid plan. The Co-op website was easy to read and strait forward. I then rang the Co-op and asked my questions. I found the person to be helpful and no pressure to take any product. I was comparing with three other providers (whom I had spoken with already) and decided to arrange the plan with the Co-op, as they were professional and helpful. The plan details were sent within minutes of payment. All very efficient and good service.

I haven't spoken to anyone in the shop but my experience on-line was straightforward and easy. I already knew what a good service you gave from friends who recommended your service.

I bought my package online, and the form was very easy and straightforward to fill in. The only complaint I have is that, when I first visited the site, the package had a significant discount for members of £100. When I decided to buy the package two days later, the discount was no longer there and the package had increased by £100, so the whole thing cost me £200 more than I was hoping to pay.

I had to put one star as wouldn’t allow me to put zero.
Absolutely heartbroken after my father prepaid his funeral with coop in 2006 and upon his death last month after first telling me not to worry if I didn’t have his side of the contract everything was fine and she had all the details in front of her said Cara in Great Baddow, Chelmsford branch. An hour before I was due to go and make final arrangements I was told a third party were saying no contract no funeral.
My father was so proud that he had made his arrangements before his death, he too would have been devastated as I well am too. ⛔️ Just a warning if you are thinking of prepaying ⛔️.
Staff don’t know what they are talking about and contract was broken.
