I had an appointment booked for between 8&10 on14th September at 10.40 I rang the company to see where he was apparently he wasn’t coming and would rebook me for in a weeks time seeing this appointment had been booked over a week ago was not satisfied eventually after a lot of complaining they emailed me to say a cleaner could be with me in an hour that was 11.40 he eventually arrived at 1.20
He cleaned the oven when he asked for balance of payment I said I wanted to speak to customer service as I felt if I had not rung I would have waited in all day and nobody would have come or contacted me
When they did call all they were interested in was payment not customer service all they keep saying is well we cleaned your oven satisfactory and we want payment
I am still waiting for an apology for their unsatisfactory service
I would never use this company again or recommend them
My daughter has now taken this up with them now and again they are just asking for payment with no apology

Absolutely awful service.
Called me a few days after I booked to give me a time slot, "between 3 and 5", and then tried to take the rest of the money off me. Telling me "we take payment when the timeslot is confirmed".
The website says "we take 50% deposit at the time of booking and the rest goes to the cleaner on the day".
Phoning me up for card details was not on.

Today is the day the clean is due. "Between 3 and 5". The cleaner has just turned up at 11:20am. We are in the middle of cooking!
The poor cleaner didn't know what to do. He's gone to do another job and then come back in an hour.
His words: "you're my third job of the day. I'm not sure why they told you that time".

All round shoddy planning, shoddy service, unacceptable pressure on phonecalls.

The cleaner seems like a nice bloke and I hope he does a good job, but the booking has been a complete shambles.

Was very impressed with my oven clean by Darren. Oven looks like new even though 10 years old. Darren done an excellent job friendly professional service received will definitely use again.

I’ve been cancelled twice on the morning of both appointments requested my deposit back so can’t rate the standard of the clean . One cancellation I was prepared to overlook but two was just ridiculous.
I wouldn’t use them again phone calls were odd too they didn’t seem very organised..........

They cancelled on the day twice, the first time I had waited in all afternoon.

They didn't refund my deposit for over 12 days and even then were reluctant. They have promised to process it today only after I threatened them with a Writ and Trading Standards. Here's hoping!

TERRIBLE DO NOT USE. After reading the reviews on line I wish I had taken more notice. I booked an oven clean for pm on a certain day having had to reschedule my working arrangements. I received a telephone call two days prior to the date agreed stating that the cleaner would be there in the morning which was not an option. After much discussion it was rearranged for the original time. On the day I received a telephone call from the oven cleaner who said he was approximately 15 minutes away. I advised him of where he could park. An hour later I received a follow up call from the control room saying that unfortunately my cleaner was unable to park and was too far away to attend at this point. At no point did the cleaner call me when he was in the vicinity so I could advise him on parking but chose to drive away and get the control room to make the difficult phone call. This company is badly managed and shambolic. Do not touch with a barge pole.

Thank you to darren today for the professional way my oven has been cleaned really pleased with it today no mess left in kitchen will use the company again definately friendly reliable service.

The first oven clean was booked in for 25th of August in which the cleaner didn’t turn up nor did I receive a call to advise he wouldn’t be.
I then called the company to follow up of which was told they didn’t have time to get to my address.
Not only was told they needed to rebook , each time I have had to call back to arrange I have received the hard sell on whether I want ‘ add on’ further cleaning! I wouldn’t mind but they haven’t proved can’t even complete the service I have booked for never-mind adding on more!

I then booked back in for the next available slot which was today ( 2 weeks after my original booking) between 1-4pm.
I have just now received a call half and hour before the end of the time slot when waiting in again all day that the cleaner won’t attend.
Not acceptable!
It seems that they think it’s fine for me to pay for a service then on two occasions not turn up!
First time booking Cleaner ovens and will be my last. Won’t be recommending and should be ashamed of the service their offering.

Order #28851 booked oven to be cleaned (paid my 50% deposit online) on the 18/8 waited in all day, no one turned up. Rang cleaner-ovens and was told the operative was on annual leave! Did they not think to ring and tell me (wasted day) I asked for my deposit back and it was confirmed in writing within 3-10 days from the 18/8. It’s now 19 days later and still no returned money despite ringing again today. What a sham of a business and not worth the aggravation they caused. Went with ‘eagle eye oven cleaners’ who do not ask for money upfront, turned up promptly and were very professional - that’s how it should be done. No doubt will have to fight tooth and nail to get my money back.

Edit; after 21 days of constantly ringing, finally got a confirmation of a refund… kept reading and it says up to 10+ days to hit my account 😂 Buyer Beware

Edit; refund finally hit my account. Received an apology from ‘oven support’ a bit moot after 30 days of trying to get my money back, this appears to be a franchise! The lesson I have learned, if a company is asking for 50% money upfront avoid. My research shows that this is the only company that charges a deposit for a very hit and miss service.

06.07.21 Booked my oven clean for the afternoon of 30.07.21 and paid 50% deposit.

27.07.21 Received a phone call from oven clean trying to sell me lots of different extras. Had to pay the additional 50% balance which I questioned but was told it had to be paid in full before the cleaner came.

30.07.21 Annual leave taken for my oven to be cleaned. I was booked in between 1-3pm. At 2.58pm I recieved a phone call cancelling my appointment as apparently the cleaner had a particularly dirty oven which he was unable to finish in time to fit my clean in. I requested a refund and was told I would receive my money back within 12 working days.

04.09.21 I sent numerous emails and made phone calls to them everyday and I am still waiting for my money back. I am told everyday its a priority with accounts and it will be refunded the next day. Its like customer services all read from a script as they say the same thing everytime.

My emails are not replied too, they have blocked me from adding any comment on their facebook page and when I call they put me on hold for about 15 minutes each time.

They are obviously scammers who take your money, cancel last minute and do not refund your money.

AVOID THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE NOT LEGIT.

Professional, prompt and thorough oven cleaning service by Jason, and good supportive admin support after booking on-line. Would highly recommend.

Such a horrible experience. From the cleaner not pitching up to them not informing me and still waiting a month later for my refund. Maybe your lucky but I would never recommend or use this company again in my life.

Please do not use this company, find someone local and reliable. I booked in for an oven clean. They were due to arrive between 8am-10am, I got a call at 9.50am to say the cleaner was waiting for covid test results. I requested a refund as they couldn’t rebook in the time I needed. Over 2 weeks later I am still waiting for my refund and all points of contact are being ignored. Look elsewhere for an oven clean

I booked an AM clean with this company and paid the 50% deposit. I was then contacted to confirm the appointment which I did and was told I had been allocated an 8am-10am time slot. They asked me to pay the balance over the phone despite advertising that you dont pay the balance until you are happy with the clean and you pay the cleaner at that point. However, I paid the balance and then made sure I was up and sorted by 8am on the day of the clean. The cleaner did not show up. I called Cleaner Ovens and was told it was on a 12pm-2pm slot! They could not answer why it had been changed. I explained that my father had suffered a stroke and I was visiting the hospital everyday and visiting is in the afternoon hence me booking an AM slot. The supervisor Jordan assured me the cleaner would be there between 12-2pm so I ended up not being able to go the hospital and duly waited in. He also said he would get a manager to call and yet no call received. 2pm came and still no cleaner! Called Cleaner Ovens back (Jordan not available!) and asked them to call the cleaner. At that point I was told he had only just arrived to the customer before me meaning he would not be with me until at least 4pm. At that point I lost my patience and told them to cancel the clean. I was told it would the 7-10 days to refund me and yet it took a matter of minutes to take the payment. This company have no idea how to schedule, no idea on good customer service and I would strongly urge you to use another company.

Further update 12/09/2021 - Still not received my refund despite chasing. I have called and emailed them as suggested. All the managers always seem to be in meetings.

Absolutely fantastic job! Very pleased with the result. Our 16 year old oven looks near brand new. Jason did a brilliant job. Very polite, sociable and professional young man. Would recommend and use again. Thanks guys!!

Very good. Easily booked, although I asked for am not pm. The called up confirm pm. I cancelled and they gave me another agreed date. But then called again to offer cancellation appointment, which I accepted.
Rob was fabulous, friendly , quick and just got on with the job . Fantastic result. Looks like a new oven. Just brilliant. It’s a job I hate doing . This was worth every penny . Thank you Rob

I received a confirmation phone call after booking on line. I was given a lengthy sales pitch of what else they could clean for me in the kitchen. The salesman was not listening to me at all, just pitching. I was then asked if I had my card ready, so that I could pay the remainder of the charge. I said ‘no, it says I’m to pay remaining 50% on the day….you’ve not done the job yet!’.
They then rang the day before the appointment and cancelled a.m and said they would now visit in the p.m. I wasn’t asked, I was told, and no apology. This time didn’t suit me so I said I’ll have my deposit back. They were keen to rebook instead but this was too late for my needs.
I was told the deposit would take 7-10 days to show in my account. It didn’t. I rang on about day 14 to be told ‘it’s being processed’. Rang again on about day 18….still being processed.
I had to ring 3 times in all and demand my money back. They tell you lies and fob you off.
I can’t comment on their oven cleaning skills, but they are very good at hanging on to money that isn’t theirs!

Update on my previous review. I am still waiting for my refund because of THEIR non show. I don't think I will get it back now because it has been nearly a month. I have contacted them and was told they will refund me , but didn't. They erased my negative review on their website and seemed to have blocked me. Also I cannot get through to customer services as it just rings off, seems they have blocked my number. It seems with this company reading other reviews you either get a good service or nothing at all and they think they have a right to keep deposits. Good scam .
