The overall organisation of this company is not very good.

I placed my order on 1 July and received confirmation of the delivery date, so I took a day off work to be at home. Unfortunately, the delivery never arrived.

I called the following day, only to be told that they don’t deal with delivery issues over the phone and that I needed to email instead. I did this, but received no response. The order eventually arrived a day late, but not all of the items were delivered, and there was no communication to explain why. I sent another email, which again went unanswered.

When I called, I was told the missing items had been sent by Royal Mail. After they still hadn’t arrived, I called twice more and was promised a callback each time. Neither callback happened.

Eventually, I spoke to a lovely lady called Karen, who was the only person throughout the process who was genuinely helpful. She investigated the issue and discovered that the delivery department said the items had actually been sent via Evri, not Royal Mail as I’d previously been told. However, there was no tracking number available, suggesting that, after two weeks, nothing had actually been dispatched.

To the company’s credit, once the issue was confirmed, my refund was processed promptly.

The quality of the paving slabs I did receive was generally good, although most of one part-pallet contained chipped slabs.

Overall, while the product quality was reasonable, the poor communication, lack of organisation, conflicting information, and failure to respond to emails or return promised phone calls made this a very disappointing experience. I would struggle to recommend this company based on the level of customer service I received.

Looking for a particular porcelain slabs for my patio my supplier had let me down so I had to quickly find a company who would split a pack loads wouldn’t do it. BGP I spoke to Sarah she was extremely helpful it was no problem to supply what I needed and deliver within 2 days free delivery, also at a cheaper price than previous local supplier! Everything was very easy and smooth slabs arrived just perfect. I was kept informed of delivery. So good to speak to helpful staff who knew their products and could deliver!!
I would highly recommend them.

Quick delivery, out of two pack one tile with a very small chip. That we used on one of the cuts. Brilliant service throughout.

I ordered the Black Limestone Cobble Sets and couldn’t be happier. They arrived in a sturdy crate on a pallet truck, and the delivery guy was brilliant—really kind and helpful. He brought the pallet in and placed it exactly where I needed, which was a huge relief as I live off the main road (so I was worried it would just be left on the kerbside).

The product itself is beautiful—black limestone from India—and I used it to create a border around my porcelain paving (white and charcoal). The contrast looks amazing, and the finish is exactly what I was hoping for. Great service and great product!

Excellent service

My order arrived quickly and was what I’d asked for, however there were 2 large slabs that were cracked and couldn’t be used. I didn’t however reach out to BGP. Beautiful paving.

A couple of mishaps on my part were quickly resolved by the office staff. Delivery was quick and on time. The tiles look loverly.

Wow ! In the 20 years of being an experienced paver i have never come across such a product.
Purchased 3 packs of sawn sandstone, firstly arrived 2 days later than my delivery date with no communication and after paying the additional delivery cost.
The paving it’s self is shocking, I have had to hand sand almost a whole pack due to not being chamfered, the mixed sizes do not work and have had to hand cut to keep to joints. So many with defects, even on the better of the slabs the cut of the paving is all over the place.
So not only did I lose the days waiting for delivery I’ve lost multiple days in fixing the product as I went.
If you are a paver reading this don’t bother and if you are a d.i.yer then good luck.
I never like to leave reviews like this but I provide a service to my customers and I’ve been let down massively by this product which is at my own expense to fix.
