Terrible business

Terrible business. Got a 1200$ air rifle and it broke within a few days of having it. They’re saying they can’t replace it, wasted 1200$. The megaloden is a very cheap built gun. DO NOT DEAL WITH AIRGUN TACTICAL

Hi Jared,

When attempting to cock the rifle, it jammed, and instead of waiting for instructions, the customer mishandled it, causing damage to multiple areas, including internal damage that needs a frame replacement.

AEA’s Repair or Replacement policy covers manufacturer defects, but this issue resulted from improperly cocking and mishandling the rifle, which is not warrantable. Two technicians inspected the air rifle and concluded that it could not be repaired without replacing significant parts, making the repair cost similar to buying a new rifle.

The customer initially agreed to pay for repairs but declined when informed of the total cost, leading to a negative review. This situation stems from user error, not from our service.

We have offered you plenty of help. The problem here is you tried to purchase from us and SHOPIFY flagged your account as HIGH RISK requesting we cancel the order and not fill it. We asked you to verify your ID however you didn't the ID verified was on the order that SHOPIFY CLASSIFIED AS HIGH RISK. Furthermore the ID that was verified was for your spouse and not you with by the way a totally different last name. We further suggested that you try with Just your wifes information and NOT yours since it was your info that was flagged. Rather than taking our advice you called us and trying to find out why it was not clearing, however we have no record if the attempt. You advised us that the transactions are not going through. Which we than advised you that we are the merchant ant that our credit card "GATEWAY" IS DICLINING and if this is the case we can't override the gaway if they declined the card they see something on the back end that is not allowing them to approve your order. So as you can see with the high risk flags and the gateway declining you we have no way to help you. We are sorry but the credit card gateway it its not processing its for an obvious reason which we are not able to override. We are sorry and would love to help but our hands are tied.

Missing Parts

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. It’s hit or miss, and the hassle is not worth it.

I ordered a Bintac S45 combo with dual tanks/barrels, the 250cc, and the stock rear stock. Here’s what happened:

Poor customer support and problem-solving skills.
It took them about 15 days just to process and ship the product.
Since I had to travel for work, the package arrived at my home on November 5th, but I didn’t open it until November 18th. That’s when I realized the shorter 100cc tank was missing.
From the start, their response was, “Due to the time that has passed, there’s nothing we can do about it.” I acknowledged that but asked directly how many tanks were supposed to come in the box because I received two. Their initial response was, “That sounds about right.” However, when I pointed out that the product pictures clearly show three tanks, I asked again. The customer support representative replied, “Sir, I’m repeating myself here—there’s no way I can know what you received in your box.”

I can provide pictures of the box and the contents for reference.

At this point, they’re not even sure if they offer the missing part for purchase, even though I’m willing to pay for it separately.

P.S. To the customer support team: Please remember to remove the “Chat GPT” note when copying and pasting responses. You forgot to do that in replies to other customers.

Thank you for providing your name in your review so we can identify you. Had we known you were using a third party to purchase from us, we would have canceled your order as we did with the three previous attempts. Each attempt was made with a credit card from Mexico, and we have been clear that we cannot sell to you, given that you do not reside in the USA. We cannot risk having products taken across the border.

Your first attempt occurred on September 30, 2024, using an address in Brownsville, TX. Your second attempt was on October 1, 2024, with an address in El Paso, TX, using a billing address in Kansas City, MO. Your third attempt on October 7, 2024, involved the same El Paso address, but you updated both the billing and shipping to that address. When we contacted you about this, you informed us that you are not a U.S. Citizen and asked if we could ship to an address in Oklahoma.

When your straw buyer contacted us, they could not recall the address used and needed to look it up, stating they purchase for multiple people. The fact that this order was delivered on November 4th and we are only now receiving a call from you on November 20th is beyond the timeframe we allow for reporting any missing items from a package.

Moreover, we cannot honor the warranty associated with this order, as it is tied to the original buyer and we cannot confirm their identity. We may need to file a police report regarding this incident.

We will not sell to you in the future, so please do not attempt to manipulate our system for another purchase. Additionally, you previously used someone else's military discount, which provided you with nearly a $90 discount along with free shipping, yet you still chose to complain.

As previously stated, you are PAST the window to report what you are claiming is missing from the package. We can't confirm if you are being honest or dishonest, all we have to go off of is you manipulating and circumventing our system with a straw buyer and you obtaining an unjustified military discount, when you have NEVER served in our military this was the straw buyers military discount. We don't give discounts for people to rip us off!

doubts about the price

it appears you, Airgun Tactical, Respond to every review, which is very impressive and defiantly makes you feel more trustworthy. Recently I decided I really wanted a Hugan GK1 V3, but your price is more that 3 times cheaper than everywhere else. While this is great for affordability, it leaves me worried about the quality, not at fault of you but simply because I can't understand how its so much cheaper and still the same gun. Do you have an explanation to put me a little at ease before I buy?

I ordered October 27th. Yesterday Nov 8 I was informed items would be shipped this weekend due to inventory and size of order. Just wish there was something on the site if they didn't have items in stock. And would keep customers a little more informed what is going on with your order.

Buyers be aware.

I placed an order October 22nd (Tuesday) and in their web write the are shipping in 3-4 working days. It is now November 2nd and still not have my order #4324AGT.
I order aircraft parts from allover USA especially Texas and Washington state and have them in 7 days.
I placed an order from Germany for my air gun and I had it in 14 days.
AurGun Tactical if they don't have the parts in stock should notify the customer soon after the order was placed so the customer have the choice of wait or cancel the order.

Buyer Beware

Buyer Beware! This company is defiantly on the "shady side". They try to use their bogus policies to intimidate when they screw up. The short story is that I purchased an AEA Megalodon 15". When I received the gun, the barrel was shorter than the air tube. When in the pictures on their website it showed the barrel being longer than the air tube. I contacted AGT and they argued that I got what I ordered and that was final. I contacted PayPal and filed a complaint. A few days later, I received a prepaid return label. I sent the misrepresented gun back and received a full refund. They have since quit using PayPal.

Michael ordered a custom-cut Megalodon from us, and we fulfilled his order within a few days. Unfortunately, there was a communication issue. Michael emailed us saying that the barrel was too short, but we clarified that what we sent was not what he originally ordered. We requested pictures to help resolve the matter, but he initially did not provide them. Instead, he began making demands regarding the order without sharing evidence.

After escalating the issue to PayPal, he finally sent us the images. Upon reviewing them, we agreed with his concern. It appeared that the air tank was indeed longer than the barrel. Some customers request larger tank capacities, and this order was for a custom-cut barrel paired with a standard long tank. We acknowledged this discrepancy and issued him a paid RMA label for a full refund.

We would have gladly exchanged the item for the correct one had he not escalated the situation to a dispute claim. It became clear that it was more efficient for us to cut ties with him and process his refund. Had we received photo confirmation from Michael initially, this matter could have been resolved easily without issue. Unfortunately, his behavior reflects a pattern where some customers expect us to accommodate unreasonable demands, similar to larger retailers. We want to be clear: we uphold our policies 100%, including our cancellation and refund procedures. Had this not been a legitimate dispute, he would have lost that claim because we would have fought it.

7-20-24 and 7/21/24 you sent us emails stating you where having issues with the magazines and that the gun was not smoothly chambering.

7-23-24 You also before we replied sent us another email...

Asking us for the user manual so you obviously attempted to use the airgun without reading your user manual which if a manual is available we always advise to download and read prior to operating your airgun.

7-23-24 We replied to your email asking for the manual and provided you with the link to download it.

7-24-24 We sent you a reply email asking what ammo did you shoot or attempt to shoot through it.

7-24-24 You replied that you used our ammo.

7-24-24 We sent you another email asking you to call us so we can help you fix the issue.

Later on 7/24/24 you sent us another email stating the following...

Thank you for responding to my last email request. I have solved the problem with my megalodon shotgun by watching one of your youtube vids.

TWO MONTHS LATER YOU SEND US THIS EMAIL BELOW....

Several months ago I purchased a meg 50 cal shotgun from you. Shortly after that I had eye surgery and couldn't shoot it. I did however notice that the magazines that came with it don't rotate smoothly, they actually get stuck part way through the rotation. However that is not the subject of this email. I noticed that when racking the slide, it gets stuck just as the bolt (I'm not sure of the correct terminology) enters the chamber even without a mag installed. My brother, a retired marine looked at it and we fount that the bolt is catching in one side of the chamber. After racking a dozen time or so, a wear spot is starting to show in that spot. So, either the bolt or the chamber are off center slightly. What can be done about this problem?

WE DIDN'T KNOW THIS EMAIL WAS SENT WE HAD ZERO FOLLOW UP FROM YOU AFTER THIS EMAIL. WE HAVE AN URGENT MESSAGE FORM AND A SERVICE REQUEST FORM YOU DIDN'T COMPLETE ANY OF THOSE BUT RATHER CAME HERE TO GIVE US A LOW RATING. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE ABOVE CORRESPONDENCE WE FOLLOWED UP WITH YOU ON EVERY EMAIL WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THIS LAST ONE THAT REALLY ISN'T EVEN AN ISSUE.

Tolerances on airguns under 1k are not always perfect. Unfortunately this is not the highest quality airgun and the tolerances on this are not the same as a regular firearm. That being said it chambers and shoots, than keep shooting PEW! PEW!

Not sure who you are however if you are referring to the pump action kit for the M50 those are at a minimum 1-2 weeks for them to be shipped as they are a custom item. If this doesn't work you will need to show us where you are having the problem and how its defective so that we can help you we will be happy to replace any defective parts on the pump action kit. We also have AtmoTac who stands behind 100% his kits. If you don't have one of these not sure what you are talking about. Please provide a little more context so that we an try to help you. going online and making a 1 star review quite frankly doesn't help us... if you have a M50 that has a custom extra short tank this like the 25 inch tank and it doesn't fit that is NOT our fault. You are welcome to send it back to us and if its defective we will replace it FREE of charge.

1st of all AirgunTactical.com made me…

1st of all AirgunTactical.com made me feel like I was being screened by the federal government during my "attempt to" purchase. They asked me for a photo of my ID, a selfie of myself, and a photo of my most recent electric bill. Even after all of that my order was canceled anyway with the guy calling me and telling me "the address on payment and delivery must match ". I never heard of such a thing. I was temporarily staying somewhere else because I lost my home in a fire. When I got my new place and attempted to order again I added an email simply requesting Do not use UPS because they have a bad reputation in my area. My order was canceled again and was told that they only use UPS and I can get the protection plan and I will be covered if anything happens.
After all of this I have a friend who ordered from AGT in early June with package protection and it is now mid July. The package has been lost for weeks and my friend has done everything possible to get a refund or replacement with no action.
AGT is horrible. It is a reason why they make the review section harder to find than most companies.
AGT gets 2 thumbs down

Mr. Michael Brown we have a STRICT Fraud prevention policy and we are NOT like other airgun companies that are quick to take your money therefore when any red flags arise if the verification has hiccups as did yours we will CANCEL the order this is two fold to protect OUR VALUED customer and OUR COMPANY. If this makes us a bad company than so be it we would rather you shop somewhere else. As for your friend we have checked out records and we have no outstanding shipping claims this sounds to me like a competitor trying to slander us for their gain. I would encourage your friend to come on here and write his own review so we can both identify and try to help resolve his situation. A lot of people confuse us with Ares Airguns Tactical we are not them, only saying perhaps your friend is NOT even one of our customers.

Air Gun Tactal I purchased the Air Gun…

Air Gun Tactal I purchased the Air Gun Tactal pistol AGT D3. I quickly noticed that the trigger pull was quite difficult I had to use two hands to fire it. The pistol would also double fire every so often. So I contacted AGT and they sent me a return label and they said we will fix it for me and make it easier to pull the trigger. Well when I redceived it back I fired 4 shots and still I could not fire it without a very very hard pull and needed to use two hands to fire. This is not normal this is clearly a defective product. So I phoned AGT and they told me that they fixed it and it was fine. I explained that it was still no improvement with the trigger pull. I told them I wanted to return the defective pistol. They said it would be a 30% restocking fee! For a defective item! After a long discussion they would not budge. So now I have to make the desicion to sent it back and loose over $250.00 for a defective pistol or let the public know all about the poor customer service at Air Gun Tactal. Do not buy the AGT D3 pistol is is poorly made. It is very difficult to pull out and shoot as the trigger pull is so difficult. This is NOT a way to run a business. I have spent thousands of dollars with this company and the way I was treated proved to me that they are not worthy of my business anymore. I will also do videos and place this info for all the public to see that Air Gun Tactal is not a good company to do business with. Do not do business with Air Gun Tactal. The defender was clearly disclosed as having a HEAVY 12lb trigger pull, we can't unfortunately help you if you are not capable of pulling the trigger. We realize the trigger pull might have been difficult for you, but the reality is this doesn't mean the gun was broken. Given this fact we offered to take back the gun with a restocking fee as outlined in our policies you of course declined this because after shopping you expected us to give you a full refund when all airguns sales are final. We are sorry to hear you feel like you had a bad experience.
