Disingenuous advice on timescale
4th dimension handled my claim on behalf of my broker. I was informed that I had 2 choices; The first being that 4th Dimension handle the seamless claim from picking the bike up, assessing and costing the repair work, liaising with the underwriter, carrying out the work and sending the bike back. The 2nd option was that I use my dealer and liaise directly with the insurer.
4th dimension sounded like a good idea but I queried how long it would take. The average period being 4 to 6 weeks as it was ‘quiet’ I was told.
The initial contact was very good up until the work being authorised. My insurer authorised the work in 48 hours so no delay there.
However, I have still not got the bike back some 7 weeks later and the ‘target’ date is 13th May. That will be 9 weeks for the work to be complete let alone getting the bike back.
The only explanation I have is that there is a delay in the workshop. All the parts were readily available ( I checked with my dealer).
I feel as though 4th dimension have sold their services under false pretences. They clearly have a back log that they can’t cope with.
The 2 star review is based on the service to date and I will update once I receive the bike back.
On another note…..
I escalated the matter 2 weeks ago and would be told that customer services would be in touch. Despite chasing, I have heard nothing.
UPDATE:
4th DIMENSION HAVE REPLIED TO THIS REVIEW SAYING THEY WILL PASS MY COMMENTS ON TO THE CUSTOMER RELATIONS TEAM. I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD DO THIS 3 WEEKS AGO. I STILL HAVE NO CORRESPONDANCE

I spoke to 3 different people (Rory, Camilla and Caroline) and all were really helpful and informative. Camilla in particular was very empathetic to my situation.
Caroline was very clear about the next steps and what I needed to do.By the end of the call of my concerns had been answered without many questions. First class.
4th dimension quality service
4th Dimension has been a helpful company managing all aspects of my motorcycle recovery, repair etc. after an RTA. Their representative, Lionel Croucher, formally introduced himself to me and has guided me through the process with patients and clarity. His explanations have been open and honest and he has shown exemplary courtesy and understanding during all our conversations. He made me feel I could put my trust in him with total confidence.
