At a time where VW is being challenged…

At a time where VW is being challenged by new car manafactures on price, equipment level and service, they should be doing better.
I have an ID5 on PCP with Citygate VW near Chiswick. The car went in for a recall service which required a software update. The Software update crashed which meant a weeks worth of delays getting it sorted. To their credit I was kept informed all the way through and allowed to keep the courtesy car at no extra cost. Now the recall was for a rare issue that might occur at normal driving speeds in certain conditions the doors might open. The reason the update crashed is because of a SF module.

At a time where VW is being challenged by new car manafactures on price, equipment level and service, they should be doing better.
I have an ID5 on PCP with Citygate VW near Chiswick. The car went in for a recall service which required a software update. The Software update crashed which meant a weeks worth of delays getting it sorted. To their credit I was kept informed all the way through and allowed to keep the courtesy car at no extra cost. Now the recall was for a rare issue that might occur at normal driving speeds in certain conditions the doors might open. The reason the update crashed is because of a SF module which needs to be replaced in order for the recall to be completed. The car is now out of warranty and the module would cost £3450 which they will not cover. They also want £30 for a puncture repair (£10 locally) and £135 for a brake fluid change (£55 at Halfords). They've turned around and said we've got your car working again and we are happy for to collect the car in its current state. I'm baffled at why they wouldn't cover the cost to get the module repaired in order to complete a safety recall. I'm essentially left with a potentially unsafe car.
To make matters worse the renewals team regularly get in touch as the car is due to be returned this year to talk about upgrading knowing fully the car is in negative equity. When I reply...... radio silence until the next renewals email. I'm sorry VW but the IDx cars are nowhere near the required standard, your dealer service is poor. You have lost a loyal customer who has purchased several cars from you over the years. Time to look elsewhere.

I purchased a watch in late December…

I purchased a watch in late December which after a lot of chasing didn’t arrive until January 6th. On wearing it the first time yesterday the second hand appears to have a mind of its own and the watch does not keep time. It’s been 24 hours since I reported this fault to Moddys and no reply, which i find strange given their claims of 24/7 support

Online store service terrible

UK store is great. Friendly knowledgable service. Online however is a completely different story. I purchase a Jacket that was showing in stock in my size. Several days later my order was cancelled due to the item not being in stock. This isn't great in itself. I emailed to ask them to change it to another size that was available on their website, No. They can't do that. You have to buy the other size while you wait up to 30 days for a refund. With all the disruptor banks and payment systems and other streetwear brands processing refunds immediately or within a few days, I am still waiting for a refund for for over £200. I won't be buying from Patta online again. Its like they've lost touch with people loyal to the brand and technology.

The person I spoke to was very professional. Genuinely felt like it was my care and health being considered rather than selling a product.

Packlinks courier Yodel damaged my eBay…

Packlinks courier Yodel damaged my eBay parcel that a buyer paid £360 for. To the point where it’s unusable. What do they offer as compensation - £25 + postage. This after 16 years of trouble free service. No goodwill at all. Will never use again. They hide the enhanced cover somewhere. Never seen it in 16 years.

Didn’t work out for my dog

Didn’t work out for my dog. Puked up every time he had a piece. Great delivery and communication otherwise.

Poor customer experience and service. Not UK based as claimed.

Put in a review for a fairly significant amount of money. Money was taken and I received and email asking my if it was ok for delivery the next day. I replied saying this was fine but preferred Friday. 4 days and a Friday goes by - manage to get someone on the phone who apologised for not answering my email as he 'just didn't see' the reply. Arranged for delivery tomorrow.
No UPS tracking or email so far. Fingers crossed for a delivery but seeing the review and not being able to get anyone on the phone today i'm not so sure.

Update: it’s now week 2. Getting mixed communications from different support staff. Won’t answer the phone and won’t call me. I’ve even given 4 - 5 different alternatives options for my order to no avail. Best avoided.

You were presented with alternative animals to replace the ones that were unfortunately not possible to source anymore, and refused to change your order, which we refunded fully in the end.
