Can't fault RM cycles.

Great price, fast despatch and fantastic delivery with accurate tracking with APC. After cancelling another bike from another shop aftet being messed around for days with TNT offering woeful tracking and not turning up on the days they did say they were coming, buying from RM cycles has been great. After despatch I changed the delivery day with APC then on that day got a two hour slot (unlike TNT) and literally tracked him to the door. Love the bike Can't ask for more.

Too efficient for their own good.

Ordered a Argon 18 Grey Matter on Saturday 13th of September. I was asked whether I wanted it delivered on or before Thursday or on our before Saturday. As it was more likely somebody would be home Friday and definitely Saturday I went for the Saturday option. On Monday I get an email saying the bike is despatched and TNT will deliver on Tuesday. Having no choice I ask my mother in law to come over and wait for it. Did it come, no. Tracking said it was out for delivery then almost immediately said it had run out of time for first delivery. This inferred that a second attempt would be made and it still stated it would be delivered by 6pm. It didn't arrive. The tracking didn't update on the Tuesday or Wednesday. My mother in law came over again on the Wednesday as we presumed it was out for delivery but still no update from TNT. I messaged Sigma and said we've been messed around for two days now and I won't have someone wasting yet another day waiting for it, if this is how it's going to be I'll have to cancel. I expected this to get someone to actually care and find out where it was but no they said fine we've cancelled the order and asked TNT to return it.
I said this was not what I was I expecting and they did apologise and said they'd get it sent out as soon as it was back with them. It was back with them early Thursday but was not sent out again that day. By Friday still no email to say it was being sent out so I'd had enough and cancelled the order.

Gxa long term review

My gxa has been my main means of transport to work for nearly five years. It's not the longest commute but March to October I try and take it with me once or twice a week and ride home from wherever I'm working in west Somerset. Paint finish is excellent and it always cleans up like a nearly new bike when cleaned. Geometry is slightly conservative but does mean it's lively and turns well on the road. I tried a friend's kinesis tripster recently and didn't find it agile enough for me. I probably use it 99% on road but given the state of the lanes through the hills they're not a lot smoother than gravel anyway! It's great to have the ability to cut across the Quantock hills on the gravel fire roads if I'm working that way.
Customer service has been excellent and sorted the couple of small component issues I've had over the years.
Only thing I'd like to see changed is full length cable outer's for the mechs. Newer models may well come with that I don't know. Apart from that it's a great bike and I'll continue to enjoy riding it!

Problems with delivery service but good customer service.

Despatched quickly but unfortunately Dx delivery didn't deliver when they were requested to deliver which wasted a day. Contacted Driveden and they replied pretty quickly, apologised and we're honest that unluckily I was one of the last that would have DX delivering their order as they were being replaced the following week. Price and communication was good.

Deceitful thieves or con artists?

Con artists that have taken a deposit from my elderly father who is terminally ill and still haven't refunded it nearly three months after he decided not to buy they're ex demo. He's emailed the salesman Chris Turner on numerous occasions asking for the deposit to be returned. I have phoned and spoken to Simon Clarke who assured me it would be refunded. They insisted that he had to go back to the showroom to get the refund which means having to leave my mother who is suffering from dementia and was again as assured that it would be returned. Still hasn't been returned. They are either woefully inept or just couldn't care less about the consequences of their actions and the distress they cause vulnerable people by withholding money that doesn't belong to them.

Billed twice and still no phone delivered!

Woeful in every possible way. My wife has ordered a Samsung galaxy s21fe via mobiles.co.uk (all calls have been dealt with by carphone warehouse) over a month ago. We were initially told it was out of stock then after two calls we were told it was despatched. No delivery details were sent. We waited and waited. Still no phone. We called again (every time it's a considerable wait to actually speak to anyone) and we're told it it had been picked up by dpd but they are denying ever receiving it. We specifically asked whether the contract would have started as we still didn't have the phone and was told no it'll only start once the SIM was activated. We were told another phone would be despatched in three to five days. Week and a half later and no contact from mobiles/carphone warehouse whatsoever, no phone and now a bill from Vodafone for the first month of the contract! Another ninety minutes on the phone basically and nothing but a promise of the phone being despatched in another three to five days. That's over a month billed plus the £165 upfront that they took immediately for a product and contract we don't have. No offer to refund the unused contract. No offer of compensation for the hours wasted phoning the call center tracking the product that this company have no interest in. You couldn't make up the incompetence of this company they are truly awful. A CEO complaint will be going their way. Please avoid them at all costs.

I've been a Google device fan for as long as I can remember. I've had nearly every Nexus device and most pixels. My patience has come to an end today. A simple issue that my pixel stand is not charging properly and sometimes not all. Multiple calls to and from Google support for over an hour and three quarters being asked to do various things. They couldn't even find their own serial number for the device. I had to drag my wife out of the shower to confirm she bought it from her phone because they couldn't recognise the serial number. And at the end of all that time no replacement could be ordered because it was a gift and it would have to be done again from my wife's account. What a waste of time. I've cut Google so much slack over the complete 6 and 6 Pro farce with terrible fingerprint scanners, late updates and inexcusable software bugs. This is the first year that I've recommended to my extended family to skip the A series phones and get Samsung a53's instead any they're happy they did and will get longer support. Enough is enough I'm done with being taken for granted. Both my 6 work phone and my 6 Pro will be going along with my pixel slate. Absolute joke.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Placed an order on Saturday afternoon and as soon as the order was confirmed I saw that Google pay had dragged up a previous delivery address from years ago. With the order quoted as next day delivery I had visions that my contact email with the correct address wouldn't be seen in time and my delivery would be going off to my old address. But despite the website stating that emails should get a response within four hours on working days I actually got a response on the Sunday allaying my fears and informing me the delivery address is now corrected. New board was with me by the Tuesday so I'm very very happy. Thank you.

Great casual mountain bike clothing…

Great casual mountain bike clothing that's smart, casual but also shows your affiliation to mountain biking. Only just started using as it gets a little cooler but looks well made. Delivery was reasonably fast. I'll happily be back and maybe check out the technical clothing next time.

Toolbox is great value but did come damaged in the post. Brian in customer services has quickly posted out the damaged part and a spare for future use. Excellent service. I'll certainly be happy to purchase from UK planet tools again.

Can't fault bicycle chain

Can't fault bicycle chain. Helpful staff, great stores and they always try their best for you. Understandably they are aimed more at the mainstream road and mountain bike market which suits the majority of people. I'd love to see them get some of the niche clothing and bike manufacturers in store but I understand why they probably don't. Still a great chain with small store attention and customer service.

They've taken my lightly damaged van. I've had no communication of any description. I'm out of pocket by several thousand pounds. They've had the vehicle for more than two weeks and I still haven't been paid for it and I've been told that it'll likely be another week to ten days. I was not told they would take anything like this length of time at any point. Woeful company.

I took my insurance through Adrian Flux…

I took my insurance through Adrian Flux and subsequently a few months later was hit from behind whilst braking for a fallen tree. Open/shut case. Third party admitted liability there and then. I reported the accident to Adrian Flux and was very much encouraged to use a company they recommend called accident exchange to take on my claim. Worst mistake I've ever made. Three months on now and I still only have some of the money that is owed to me. Salvage company has taken my damaged vehicle and still haven't paid me for it. I was left for weeks with no transport. I must have made over a hundred phone calls chasing every aspect of the claim. I've complained to Adrian Flux that I'm not happy about how they operate in conjunction with accident exchange and they have not even contacted me. Avoid Adrian Flux if you can but if you are unfortunate enough to be already with them and they offer accident exchange please refuse and go through the insurance company you've already paid to cover you.
Update 1
A representative from Adrian flux called just to update me last week that finally my cheque had been posted out the day before. No apology, no we'll look into how things went so badly for you, nothing. Well to round things off nicely we're well into the following week and there's still no sign of the cheque. Now well over three months and still waiting. Woeful.

I really don't know why I expected the…

I really don't know why I expected the experience of buying from cpw to any better than last time but stupidly I thought they can't be any worse. The only thing they excel in is incompetence. Specifically asked for my phone to be delivered to the store today for me to pick up but no it's out for delivery to my home address which is empty and will be all week. Seven calls to call centre as it either failed to connect, insisted I look at frequently asked questions, went straight through to the call survey without actually speaking to anyone or just disconnected me. Won't have the phone until next week now. Brilliant thanks a lot.
Update. It appears that customer service has sorted out the delivery though we'll see if it does arrive. Credit where it is due though as they do appear to be sorting it.
Update No 2
Nope a full week after ordering the phone and carphone warehouse have not been capable of delivering one handset from their warehouse to the correct store. Did have an update sent to me by text saying my phone had been delivered but unfortunately that was to somebody in Lincoln (I live in Somerset but it gives you an idea of how organised cpw are). Absolute joke of a company. The store even had them in stock but no you're not allowed to have one of those because it's from a different stock and you'd have to buy it again then seek a refund. The ineptitude displayed by this company is world class.
Update No 3
You have absolutely got to be kidding me. After days of it not turning up at the store that I asked for it to go to and having been told twice it would be going to the store I get another message today to say it will be delivered again to my home address which again there will be nobody home! I'm just speechless now.
Update No 4
I am utterly dumbfounded that after a week and multiple phone calls and emails the phone is going to be delivered to the wrong place again. I am now going to have to take two hours off of work to drive twenty miles home to be in for it to be delivered when I'm working a quarter of a mile from the store that I have repeatedly asked for it to be delivered to. Not one person has called me to take ownership of this situation. This will now go to a CEO complaint.

Delt with Chris on the commercial side…

Delt with Chris on the commercial side who provided us with a new crew van for our family. Couldn't have asked for more, excellent service. The van was ready on time in only a couple of days with the extras fitted and he even picked me up from the airport so I could collect it. Thank you Chris.

Generally poor customer service.

Had one good experience with them with two photos so ordered a large canvas. Took a screen shot of how the preview looked but when the item arrived it was badly sized and bared no resemblance to the preview. The head of the main subject in the photo had been cut off at the forehead. After complaining and supplying evidence of how their preview showed the end product they just replied with a standard issue reply saying that they considered it acceptable. I would either avoid this company or pay very close attention to your photo and make sure there is a very large distance from the outside of the photo to any people you would actually like to feature in it.
