Good service

Everything good. I use this service almost a year and don`t want to look for another one. It doesn`t slow down. Always consistent connection. Im completely satisfied.

Bait and switch, plus useless for streaming services

Bought a 'lifetime' subscription a few years ago. OK 1st year. Then, they have restricted servers to almost nill and want more money to get them back! Doesn't work with Disney+, BBC, IP geolocation avoidance doesn't even work with YouTube! VPN obfuscation renders the service totally unusable..no pages ever load.

They downgraded my plan without my consent

I bought a premium lifetime subscription back in 2017, and I've been really happy with zoog. Until now, that is. I used to have an access to all the servers, but not anymore. My plan was downgraded to Lifetime Lite without any prior information or change to T&Cs. After exchange of emails, they said they can't do anything about it because the management changed and they're not "aware of any marketing activities that were run before". They were even suggesting I didn't know what plan I had, only screenshots of purchase confirmation proved I was right. That's really poor customer service. They just don't care... There are few similar reviews here on trustpilot, so I'm not the only one.

Hello! ZoogVPN Lifetime subscription currently has a limited number of servers because it's cost was even less than Premium 2 years subscription - around $35 for Lifetime access to VPN servers. That's true that we weren't aware of this kind of Lifetime subscription because former CEO of ZoogVPN who has been responsible for that marketing activity is no longer working with us. What we have in our system right now is a lifetime lite plan with limited functionality but still - a very promising and great solution for the the money it costs. That said, this cost is approximately as cheap as visiting Vatican museums at once - and that's all for lifetime access to ZoogVPN servers, lifetime :) Currently, you have over 20 cherry-picked dedicated servers with unlimited bandwidth, advanced features, and a few simultaneous connections. However, we totally understand how disappointed you are. Rest assured, your situation will be reviewed by our team exclusively and resolved. I am very sorry you had to struggle for so long and had some problems with our customer support. Please, send an email to support@zoogvpn and let us know that we had discussion on TrustPilot. We know that you've already reached out our support, but you have my word that this time your situation will be reviewed carefully once again.

Abysmal support

Update: Out of the blue ZoogVPN sent me an email advising that they had renewed the (lifetime) service. Without any change at this end, most servers now appear to be working correctly. I still have a few servers that won't connect at IKEv2 but it's still better than it was. Don't know what you did ZoogVPN, but thanks. After 3 years of frustration, relief. Sadly I'm not sure how long this will last, yet. Hopefully others can be helped also.---ZoogVPN have advised that they have recently gone through major changes. Perhaps they are now a much different company to the one I have dealt with in the past.------ Original and edited post below -----
I agree with the frustrated user. Support is abysmal, very rarely responding. Losing servers every month. Unable to authenticate on Windows but works on Android, at times, then switches over to work on Windows intermittently. Very aggressive at having accurate negative reviews removed.

You'll see below that it took over 6 weeks to respond to this review. I've had ZERO response to my enquiries to "support" in 3 years.
ZoogVPN have requested "more information" in order to be able to help. I don't know what more information they need than the email address I signed up with.
BUT, the current issue with 2 Windows 10 PCs is that very few of the servers connect at all. CA connects reliably but using OpenVPN in lieu of IKE2. As frustrated user states, ZoogVPN have been reducing the number of servers lifetime users have access to. I can connect to NL3 on Android but not Windows. Every time I have had a problem BAR ONE, when ZoogVPN very quickly told me there was a worldwide outage my tickets have been ignored.
Hotspot Shield is now my preferred VPN, although I test ZoogVPN every now and then just to see if it's usable. [Note I remove one before installing the other so they don't adversely interact ]

Sometimes, it's very difficult and even impossible to identify the "root" reason of the problem, because even some configuration issues or problems with operating system can cause this problem. Tried the free 10 gig plan

Tried the free 10 gig plan. Cannot connect to the VPN. Emailed customer support (Alex). Did not get any response. I uninstalled the VPN. I'm glad that I tried the free version before buying a paid version.

Avoid - Bought lifetime - losing servers over time

Bought lifetime, and they keep removing servers from the lifetime account. Poor speeds as well. What's the point of a lifetime account if there are no servers left to connect to?
Contacted them about it and they ignored me repeatedly.

ZoogVPN still haven't responded to my emails, and keep saying that my review isn't verified despite Trustpilot verifying it. Please stop gaslighting my review! Wish this back and forth wasn't required and they would deliver the service I paid for!

After doxxing me in the review (Thanks Trustpilot for getting them to remove it) they finally replied to my emails and agreed to temporarily add more servers in return for me deleting this review. I have refused as my experience has been so negative I'd rather others knew.

paid for a two year subscription.

I have paid for a two year subscription. I cannot connect to any servers. I cannot even connect to their website to contact customer support. I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" is very true for this company. Update on my experience. The problem has been fixed, which is very good. I guess if you don't mind not being able to connect to servers sometimes, their price point is not too bad. I boosted my rating up to three stars.

Careful the deal, and dont expect available customer service

What a shame. I subscribed from a Lite Package and the results : A ultra poor speed (0,5Mb), a lots of unaivable servers, and the worst : A customer service which doesnt answer at all !
What is the conclusion after 15 days ? YOu paid for nothing and you are not treated as a customer .... A Scam, to avoid

Please clarify which product you're referring to? From the feedback we can deduce that it refers only to a product sold on Stacksocial and is irrelevant to ZoogVPN premium plans sold on zoogvpn.com. The experience you have described does not reflect the experience of 95%+ of user base and thus can't be accepted as a genuine feedback. This has been flagged accordingly with the TrustPilot team and notified them of 1 review accounts spamming 1 star ratings.

The product is great

The product is great, but I have found the customer service to be not always be fantastic. I've had to chase issues up more than once.

Poor customer service

I have had recurrent issues for months now of payments being taken, account suspended and then reconnected after many communications from myself.
All in all a very poor service as again today I have been unsuccessful, so far, in being able to resolve.
Therefore I do not recommend.

My issue has not been resolved. Zoog want me to take out another plan which is more expensive than my present plan and in USD $'s not GBP £'s. Needless to say I find this totally unacceptable and if could give a minus score I would as the issue is with ZoogVPN.
Stay clear of.

Reply below shows the issues were at ZoogVPN.
Issue was NOT satisfactorily resolved, after several months of email communication, so I discontinued my membership.
DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Thanks for your feedback. Although we're disappointed to receive such a low rating from a long term user who has used our service extensively. Meanwhile we're tried all the options to resolve the administrative issue that you had with your plan which you have asked to be fixed. The only way this could be fixed is by discontinuing your current plan and signing up for new one. You were then not happy with new plan prices and currency, which we also changed just for you only to have you discontinue your subscription. We've tried our best to resolve your issues, but sometimes nothing is ever good enough.

Quick solution provided and so far good support

Good VPN service provider. So far the support is good and flexible.

Works good with many servers and in cheap price. It is just cheap and best.

Support is also very nice, and their team is very flexible and comfortable to interact with. Hence I am pretty much happy as a subscriber.
